“Today’s Kriya is for headache.”
Today’s Kriya is for headache. Care for migraine – head ache.
Instruction. It is a very simple because head ache is a small problem. So simple pranayama only. But powerful pranayama. It heals.
Gridharasana. First instruction Gridharasana in Matsyendriya Samhita, 25, 26, 27 verses -
“Adopt padmasana. Place the elbows on toes Interlock the fingers. Place the chin on the knuckle. Press the thumbs against the throat.”
Let me show you the asana
First Padmasana. Get into Padmasana. See. Use both the thumbs to press the throat (Person on stage demonstrates). Let me read out the instructions -
Sit in padmasana, place the elbows on toes. Interlock the fingers. Place the chin on the knuckles. Press the thumbs against the throat. Thumbs against the throat.
Sit in this posture first for at least 60 seconds. In this same posture inhale and exhale. That will train your prana flow on the whole head when you lock the press the throat, the air naturally - prana flows inside the head which heals the migraine.
Next step. The next step is Kumbha Raja. Kumbha Raja Kumbhaka. In Kumbhaka Paddhathi 134th verse. Let me give you the instruction -
“One should forcefully inhale air and hold the breath by closing the nose properly.”
Let me show you (Swamiji demonstrates this)
“Forcefully inhale and hold as long as you can and then exhale very slowly when you can’t hold anymore. This will completely heal your migraine. Start the Kumbha Raja 21 times. Exhaling should be very mildly in a relaxed way.
Next. Sheethali pranayama. Understand Sheethali is from Gheranda Samhita, 5th Upadesha 54th verse. Sheethali has the power to completely cure not only migraine, anything related to head except ego. ☺ Ego I will come up with separate Kriya.
“Draw in the air through the mouth (with lips contracted and tongue thrown out), and fill the stomach slowly. Retain it there for a short time. Then exhale through both the nostrils. Please understand extend the tongue outside the mouth as far as possible without strain. Roll the sides of the tongue up so that it forms a tube. Inhale and draw the breath in through this tube. At the end of inhalation, draw the tongue in, close the mouth and exhale through the nose.
Let me show you. (Swamiji demonstrates this)
Start doing it. Do the Sheethali for 21 times.
Next – Seethkari pranayama. This is Hata Yoga Pradipika, Upadesha 2, verse 54 -
“By drawing the breath in through the mouth, make a hissing sound, without gaping the mouth, and exhale through the nose. By practicing this, one becomes a second Kaama devatha”
Sit in a comfortable meditative pose, preferably siddasana and close your eyes. Keep the hands on the knees on Chin mudra. Make your body steady. Press the lower and upper teeth together and separate the lips as much as comfortable. Breath in slowly through the gaps in the teeth. Listen to the sound of the breath as the air is being drawn in. Close the mouth at the end of inhalation and slowly exhale through the nose.
I will show you. (Swamiji demonstrates this).
It will cool your whole body and remove all headache and migraine related disorders. Start. 21 times!
Relax! This Kriya can be done by everybody. But the people who are doing through eNtv one way connection I recommend them not to do. If you are doing it, you are doing at your own risk. People who are doing in 2 way connection. I can see you and even if you are doing some mistake I can correct it. that’s all. Okay.
