Today is Gita Jayanthi, birthday of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Long, long ago, once upon a time, on this very same day, Bhagavad Gita was delivered by Bhagavan himself from his Jnana garbha. Please understand. There is something called Bhu garbha, carrying in the stomach and delivering. That is Bhu garbha, carrying in the womb and delivering. And Hrid garbha. Artists, carrying in the heart and delivering. That is Hrid garbha. See, if you created Taj Mahal or if you created a poetry, if you created a beautiful artwork, you carry that in your heart and deliver it. Because only when you visualize in the heart, it will be delivered. That is Hrid garbha. But all the spiritual expressions are from Jnana garbha, from Bhagavan’s Jnana garbha, Bhagavan’s very own energy, Bhagavan’s very daughter. Even the word daughter has some distance. I can’t even say daughter. Bhagavan’s expression. Just Bhagavan himself happened as Bhagavad Gita today, this very day, long, long ago, thousands of years before. Let us now down to that Bhagavad Gita who is giving us all the knowledge, way of life, and all the auspicious things. Let the Gita Mata live long on the planet earth, continue to guide the whole humanity towards the ultimate. From where she came, let her guide all of us to that same source. 4:50

Let’s start the Bhagavad Gita

Today, third chapter, Karma yoga, 12th verse.

(audience recitation) ishtaan bhogaan hi vo devaa daasyante yagnya-bhaavitaaha | tair-dattaan apradaaya ebhyaha yo bhunkte stena eva saha ||

(Swamiji) ishtaan bhogaan hi vo devaa daashyante yagnya-bhaavitaaha | tair-dattaan apradaaya ebhyaha yo bhunkte stena eva saha ||

The divine energies that are cherished by you will grant you the experiences you long for. But surely the one who enjoys these experiences without fostering the divine energies is just a thief.

This verse has to be understood in two level. See, the divine energies in one level, it means the Vayu means the air energy, Varuna, water energy, Indra, god, the energy of all the gods, all the divine energies. They enrich our life. So, be grateful to them. Give them something. Your gratitude. Your offerings. If you are grateful to the water energy, you will not pollute the river in which you are living. You will not pollute the hills; you will not destroy the forests. You will not be doing this rowdyistic air pollution. 08:06 You will not be raising the temperature of the planet earth. You will not be doing so many abusive things we are doing to the Nature. Feeling grateful, respectful and worshipping the nature keeps the nature happy and the tuning is maintained. Can you guys stop talking so much?

The gratitude which you feel towards the nature keeps the whole thing in tune.

In one layer, you please understand this. If you are respectful, grateful, worshipful, worshipful towards the nature, nature continues to blesses you. You both support each other. That is the way life is. Nature is useless if life is not there. Life cannot be there if nature is not maintained. This is one layer of meaning. So, don’t cheat nature. Don’t be a thief. If you rob nature, you behave rowdyistically with nature, it is nothing but committing suicide. Global suicide. This is one layer of meaning you need to understand. One sacred secret. Another one, each experience you feel is a divine energy. Just yesterday, somebody came and asked me in the Energy Darshan. God. Swamiji, I had a experience of love and compassion once and that experience stayed with me for two months. Can you just that make that stay with me forever? That is a divine energy. You need to support it by the divine actions. When love, compassion, clarity, knowledge, any of this happens. All these are different divine energies. When that happens, immediately start performing the actions to enrich those energies. When you feel love, immediately start serving, so that that divine energy becomes part of you. When you do the action for the divine energy, immediately the energy becomes auspicious and permanent in you. 12:45 When you don’t do action, the divine energy naturally starts fading away. You are just a thief. Please understand. Every divine quality you experience is divine energy and. The Bengaluru North – where that paduka goes everyday and comes back? I’m seeing during satsang only it comes back. Alright. Understand this subtle level meaning. Each divine experience or the joy you feel or the ananda you feel is a divine energy. If you are not doing any action to make it ausp, to give your respect back to that energy you are stealing. Naturally when you are stealing, that energy is not going to bless you continuously or stay with you. So, understand. Whenever, any beautiful thing happens in you, visualize that goddess is entered in your being. She is there sitting in your being. Ananda Devi. Daya Devi or Prema Devi or Jnana Devi. Kriya Shakti entered into you. Now, the yagnas, the worship, the veneration which will make that devi, deity happy, make that goddess happy, make that energies happy is your action. The actions you perform to strengthen the quality in you. For example when you feel the compassion and love. The compassion and love when you experience, if you just keep quiet and continue to do your own actions, then you are not respecting, you are not doing the yagna to make that energy stay with you, to make that energy bless you. You acting, expressing your compassion through seva makes that energy bless you and that energy starts staying in you. The deity starts staying in you. That compassion starts staying in you. 16:28 Little (in tamil) Little bit. That experience, that experience, when you don’t make that experience into action, they don’t stay with you. Same way, when you are depressed, when depression attacks you, when the depression enters your being, if you don’t cooperate with it. What is co-operation, if you lie down. If don’t to any action, just go on brooding over, contemplating, then you are doing yagna to keep the depression continuously with you. You are saying: Om depressionae namaha Om depressionae svaha Om depressionae ekagiccha, ekagiccha Eka thishta, eka thishta.

Then, what will happen? He will happily stay with you. Not doing anything creatively and lying down is the yagna for depression. Understand, every experience happens in you is one energy. One divine energy, one goddess, one deity. When the compassion enters, if you start acting, based on that compassion, serving, sharing. Immediately, that compassion energy becomes strong experience in you. That is why I always tell people: when you experience bliss, ecstasy, through the knowledge from the Master, or kriya from the Master, some blessing from the Master, immediately start acting. Action. What should be the action? Sharing it with the world. Sharing it with others. That is the yagna you do for me to permanently stay in you. Today, as Gita Jayanthi, I wanted to remember this one incident.

Once I was driving in Tamil nadu. When I drive in Tamil nadu, that huge caravan comes with me – 50 to 60 cars comes with me. The whole battalion. I was driving in Salem. Full battalion. Even if I want, I can’t stop my car because the whole 50, 60 cars will stand and the traffic jam will happen. My caravan is slowly moving inside the city. Suddenly near the road platform, I felt such a strong pull. I stopped my car, I told the driver, ’Stop the car’. Then I looked side, I could not see why I stopped. Somehow I looked. Then I saw one elderly person with one young man, both of them standing and selling Bhagavad Gitas’ on the road. Both of them, one is holding the bag, other one is selling. Not some big money, 100 rupee. The book must be atleast 200 rupee worth. Standing in the road and selling. I could not stop me. I just got down from the car, went and stood in front in him and told the Brahmachari who was with me. Tell him. I told him, give him the money and take the Bhagavad Gita. He gave the money and I took the book. It’s not that I don’t have the Bhagavad Gita. I don’t know how many versions of Bhagavad Gita copy I have here. Maybe atleast 500 versions, 500 translations I have in my personal collection of library. I have a beautiful, huge personal collection of library, around 50,000 books. And still I continue to get books from all over the world. It’s not that I don’t have that copy. I have the same version which I bought. When I took the book from him, my hand touched his finger. I saw so much of sincerity in his bio-memory. So much of sincerity. I actually bowed down to him with all my heart. I tell you. Of course, my inner space is filled with the superconsciousness and no-mind state, that’s why I’m not feeling jealous of him. Otherwise, if I’m not become enlightened, I tell you, I would really have been jealous of his inner space. The sincerity. He had some benefit in his life because of Bhagavad Gita. The moment he had that, he has decided. And. Later on, I enquired. I spoke to both of them. My 60 cars were standing on the road. Traffic jam. Here I’m standing and chatting with them. The whole crowd gathered. One nice thing because few minutes I gave attention, the crowd got gathered round, all the books got sold. 24:19 Both of them are IITians. Both of them from IIT. Highly educated. Both of them are devotees of Sri Krishna. I thought, ‘Oh God! Standing in sun.’ And I’m 100% sure even if all the copies are sold, they would have got less than 100 rupee as a profit. Because that book is such thick, big book you can’t get it for 100 rupee. They are surely selling at discounted price. They might have made money for their food, that’s all. But the sincerity. Then, I asked, ‘both of you are educated. You guys could have had a big shop and started selling. You’ll reach so many more people.’ They said we have plans for that. Sure, we are going to open a huge book store for Gita. They are going to do all that. But, we don’t want to be just sitting till we achieve that goal. Like all the great disciples of Nithyananda. All our guys, all of us have a huge plan but we sit till I make all the infrastructure for all of you. 26:17 Everyday, the complaint I get from Thiruvannamali branch is ‘Oh, I don’t have this, we don’t have this, we don’t have this, we don’t have this. We don’t have power, we don’t have Internet connection, so many things.’ If these fellows are sincere and go and stand outside the Arunachaleswara temple, and start giving phamplet and started talking to people. That would have done the job of what they want or 10 times more. When a emotion happens, when the understanding happens, when the experience happens immediately act on it. Otherwise it is not going to stay with you. Maximum, 21 hour only any energy will give time for you. At this moment, if you have compassion, if you experience joy, if you experience gratitude towards the Master, 21 hours is the maximum time it will stay with you. Within the 21 hours, if you act it, if you support it with action, then,you are doing the yagna for the deity to stay in you. If you are not doing the action, first thing: you are a thief. You steal, you don’t give it back. 28:00 Second, simply that energy will disappear from you. That’s it. I am really not able to, I was not able to hold myself; I hugged both of them in the street itself. I hugged both of them in the street. I am not a person to claim something especially to the new comers. To our close devotees, I’ll tell ‘Ay, I’m everything, don’t bother…..all these things’. People who have feeling connection, to them I give boons, bless them, all that. Otherwise to a new comer, or a public person, I maintain my decorum. But these two fellows I said, ‘understand, today you. Understand the truth. You are having Krishna’s blessings and darshan directly.’ I said ‘You don’t know now the blessing you are receiving. You’ll see, the sincerity which you are having will become experience of enlightenment in you.’ See, they are intelligent people, they said that just few days before we arrived in Salem, we decided to setup a Krishna’s temple and Krishna book stall; everything. But we don’t want to be just waiting till all that gets done. Till all the infrastructure happens. Sincerity should become action immediately. I saw when they started doing the action that sincerity has just blossomed in them, flowered in them. Naturally, that attracts all other auspicious energies in them. 30:23 I tell you. Honestly I tell you, it was such a strong joy. I did not see them before I stopped the car. But such a strong pull. I stopped the car and looking for them. I didn’t know why I stopped the car. Then only, when I saw them, I realized. It is for them, I stopped the car. If you are standing there in sincerity even in the platform, God will stop for you. He will shower his blessings and go. I really thought ‘Oh God, what a disciples to have’. I felt little jealous of Krishna. God, what kind of disciples, followers he is having and still he is able to inspire people to get into this kind of a sincerity zone. 32:03 Actually, after two years, I saw both of them have beautifully established a temple and a huge book store. And still, they continue to stand outside the bookstore, receive people and attend the whole thing sincerely. The same honesty, and sincerity, integrity with which they were standing on the road in the platform. I tell you sincerity is learnt by standing in the platform and selling book. Only when that kind of a hard work, sincerity, sincerity energy stays in you. Never by the smart work. I’m not a political organization, established by the smart work or cunningness. I am a spiritual organization which needs to be established in every individual, which will happen only by hard work. Understand, only by hard work. Of course, now our Bhagavad Gita is getting published by Diamond books. It’s going to be in the millions of hands. No doubt. That is smart work. That may help the people who are reading but if you are a disciple, and you want to be helped. Stand in the platforms and start selling. 33:45 I can say that is the way you will learn Bhagavad Gita. You will learn the honesty, integrity and sincerity. I tell you any emotion, any honesty, any sincerity which is not supported by the action within 21 hours will die down like fire without any firewood or without any fuel. I really tell you: not acting immediately and postponing is inviting the demon of depression or insincerity, ashraddha but acting immediately on the honesty and sincerity is doing the yagna for Shradda devi. Which one you want to do, you choose. Today, I’m blessing all my devotees, my disciples whoever considers me as their Guru, to all of them I give the blessings. Start the action to enrich your gratitude, your feeling connection. Go and stand the Walmart stores outside, in the platforms, the railway platforms in Bharat or the bus stands, in the bazaars, in the markets. Start selling Jeevan Mukthi or Bhagavad Gita. As today is Gita Jayanthi, next one month. After all, our book is ready. Bhagavad Gita. Now, we have in single volume. Start selling. You will see you will learn Gita much better way. You will experience Gita in a deeper way. Let me see how many disciples I have all over the world. Let me see. In next few days, report it to me. How books you sold, how many people you met, how many people you spoke to. It is not supposed to be done in organized way. I am not giving command to all the organizers, I am giving command to every individual of you. After this Satsangh, don’t sit and discuss. I am the organizer, come on, all of you sit. You take 20 book, you take 5 book, you take 3 book. No. It’s a command to every individual devotee. You know where the books are available. You know where it can be given, handed over to the new person. I tell you, every time you give a Jeevan Mukthi book, Living Enligtenment book, Bhagavad Gita book to somebody, you are initiating that person into spirituality. 38:42 Let me see now how many are going to take it up, take it up as a sadhana. Of course, when the action happens, when the yagna happens, automatically the divine energies start staying in you. Planning for smart work and not doing hard work is the yagna you are doing for invoking the political devatha in you. Go on planning, planning for smart work, never do even one inch. Inviting all of them into your life. So, understand. The divine energies that are cherished by you will grant you the experiences you long but surely the one who enjoys these experiences without fostering the divine energies by their actions is just a thief. If you have the feeling connection with the Master, then start doing the action, sacrifice, yagna, for it. To keep that alive in you. What is the yagna? Giving the feeling connection to others also. Sharing it with the world. When you do that, the experience becomes solid, stable experience in you.

Even if your husband accepts and feels connected to me and the whole family feels connected and you are coming openly and going. But all that also, more than all that, the space you are in now is the most beautiful space. You don’t know. When the whole society is against you, you see, you can’t even keep my photograph outside. You keep my photograph in your heart. Female caller: Yes, Swami Swamiji: Understand. Not only that, every day secretly you lock the bedroom and sit inside and watch the satsang. See, when the whole family accepts and feeling connected, like this thousands of devotees are there. I know that space also, I know this space also. Female caller: Yes Swami Swamiji: You understand? This space gives certain joy ma, certain kick. You understand? Female caller: And Swami, not only that. Swamiji: I tell you ma, you see Female caller: for the center also Swamiji: See, two thing ma. Female caller: I play so many dramas and try and go there. Swamiji: I know ma, I know ma. What I’m saying. There are two things. Sometimes, in course of time, a fruit gets ripened. Female caller: Swami, I can’t hear Swamiji: Sometime, in course of time fruit gets ripened. That is one example. Another, sometime, just by the heat of the air, the fruit gets ripened. The heat wave, the fruit gets ripened. Female caller: Yes, Swami. Swamiji: Same way, this very heat – society does not accept me, family does not accept me, nobody accepts me but you are not able to drop that strong feeling connection. This strong feeling connection will burn away all your social conditionings and patterns ma. Female caller: Yes, Swami. Swamiji: I tell you. This space only women will be able to enjoy. I tell you ma. See, men, because they are bullies. Even if wife does not accept, they are going to throw them out and keep my, put my photograph. Big picture in the bedroom and they are going to come and attend the program and everything is going to open. Female caller: Yes Swamiji: they will never be able to enjoy this sweet feeling connection which you are enjoying now. Female caller: Yes Swamiji: I tell you, it is thousands and thousands of times more than the devotee who comes with the whole family and sits and sees and listens and discourses and does meditation. You are thousand times in higher space, I tell you. You understand? Female caller: Yes, Swami Swamiji: See, never a person become a great devotee without the opposition of the immediate family and the relatives. I tell you. A Prahalada would never have been created if Hiranyakashipu is a devotee ma. Meera would never have been created if the Meera’s husband was devotee. Radha would never have become enlightened if Radha’s husband is a devotee. Female caller: Ya Swamiji: you understand? So, you are in a space which is happening very rarely. Enjoy that space also, but because you asked, I’ll make those guys also accept me and feel connected with me. Okay? Don’t worry.
