In the world, there are millions of spiritual scriptures available. Sasthras are a logical analysis of the ultimate Truth. There are three types of analysis – analysis of the outer world, of the inner world and the in between. The first analysis is to do with the physical plane and the results are scientific reports. The second is to do with spirituality and the results are spiritual scriptures and the third is to do with the mental plane and the results is psychology.

Sasthras make you understand the Truth intellectually. They give you intellectual clarity, understanding and confidence. Vivekananda when asked why one should read the Vedas says that if you read the Vedas, you cannot fall into the trap of superstition and get exploited intellectually. The scriptures are the best guide to Truth. They can change your way of thinking or mental setup or outlook about worldly matters and God. It will give you a new look to Jeeva (Self), Eashwar (God) and Jagath (World). Your whole life will change. In the scriptures, a story goes that there was a Queen by name Mahasala. She had seven sons who all became enlightened and left for the forest.

A king is a king only if he has citizens or servants. A Master is a Master even if he has no servants! A Master is never bothered about a kingdom, he has a different kingdom. Because you are here, I am talking in English. Else, I will continue to talk in the language of Nature, to the trees – telling them what happened to me! The experience that cannot be contained. Listen to this small story: A disciple asked his Master, “Do enlightened Masters talk?” The Master replied, “No, they don’t talk.” The disciple then asked, “So do they keep silent?” The Master replied, “No, if they keep silent, be assured they are not enlightened.” The disciple was confused and he asked, “What do you mean?” The Master replied, “The Masters neither talk nor are they in silence. They sing!” Enlightenment is not something that you cannot possess. Enlightenment will possess you. The moment Enlightenment happens, your Being becomes a song and dance – the language of Nature. This is the language in which the whole of Existence communicates. Paramahamsas are not dependent on disciples whereas a King is dependent on citizens. A great kingdom simply happens around a Paramahamsa but he is neither touched nor tainted by it.

Only intellectual fools live in cities. How can you waste the average 80 years of life in a city? In the fields of science, psychology and spirituality, no wise man has ever professed living in cities. No one can become a Shudra, Vaishya, Brahman or Kshatriya by birth – simply by being in the womb of a woman from that caste. One can be one of them only by their nature or qualities. A Shudra is one who lives in a routine. He wakes up at a certain tim, has breakfast at a specific time etc. He in effect sells his time to somebody. A Vaishya is someone who sells his products (or creativity) to somebody. A Kshatriya is one who sells confidence to somebody. He calls a group of people to rise. A Brahman is one who sells or shares his intelligence with somebody. The first three live in cities. The Shudras search for bosses to sell their routine to. The Vaishya searches for customers while the Kshatriyas search for people who can buy their confidence. With Kshatriyas, the more confidence they sell, the more confidence they get. They are the leaders for the masses and the masses are the leaders for them. In the fourth case – the Brahman, people come in search of him! The Brahman who shares intelligence or wisdom is sought after by people. He does not need to go to cities. People from cities will go to him. From all traditions and religions, the wise men lived in forests.

The King became suspicious of this phenomenon and employed spies to watch. Man can understand everyone except his wife. He needs spies for this! The spies came back and said that the moment the Queen gave birth to the baby, she said, ‘Tat tvam asi…tat tvam asi’ repeatedly to the child. Tat tvam asi means ‘That art thou’ or ‘You are That’. The babies become enlightened purely by listening to these words. Children don’t have subconscious or unconscious thinking. They have purely an intellectual state. Therefore, intellectual clarity alone will make him enlightened. Subconscious state represents the desires while the unconscious state represents the gross habits. For one who has the subconscious state, a little emotional experience is also needed for enlightenment. When the unconscious state is there, you need a Being level experience to get enlightened. From ‘habit’, if you drop ‘h’, it becomes ‘a bit’; if you drop ‘a’, it remains a ‘bit’. If you drop ‘b’, ‘it’ still remains; If u drop the ‘I’, it will die! Mahasala gave intellectual understanding to the babies and they got enlightened. Palaces are built for weak people who harbour fear. Enlightened people don’t need anything. Paramahamsa means, he eats when he strectches his hand and he sleeps when he stretches his leg. The kings could not understand how the mere repetition or ‘Tatvamasi’ can give enlightenment. This is difficult for them because of their subconscious and unconscious states. A man came to me during a mass meditation programme and asked me how I had said that ‘I will take care’ to a person who had come to me with a problem and if the person’s problem will . I really be taken care of. I told him that the person’s problem will definitely be taken care of but not the problem of the man himself. When I say, I mean. But when you hear, you don’t mean because you have the subconscious and unconscious states. This is a scale to see if you have the see two states. For children or for people who are not complicated, intellect is enough for enlightenment to happen, so shastras are enough. But humanity is not so simple or innocent or integrated. It is neurotic. You are all winners of Buddha, so you are all buddhis! In the early times, natural pesticides were enough to kill the insects. But later, strong doses of chemicals were needed because the insects learnt how to lie on the pesticides. When Masters teach techniques, man learns how to survive the techniques! Surviving the Masters is the greatest calamity! But Masters are real Masters, they don’t give up. Even if one Master fails, the next one starts working. Because Buddha was a failure, Shankara didn’t give up; because Shankara was a failure, Chaitanya didn’t give up, and neither did Ramakrishna or Ramana. Masters are embodiments of positiveness and sometimes impractical - in the eyes of the pessimist. They are brutally optimistic, but foolishly optimistic – in your view! First there were Shastras. People survived them and so stotras came. I went into silence for 10 days. At that time, I downloaded a lot of information. New techniques; you will find that the quality of my speeches are 20-30 time more than what you have heard till now. If you come with me, you will not have ‘me’ and ‘mine’.

We understood what shastras are. Now we will enter into stotras – the next level scriptures. People who have subconscious and unconscious mind states become dangerous people. They are like a child given a knife. Instead of practicing it on themselves, they start preaching shastras on others. The moment they understand the shastras, they get intellectual confidence and they twist words and play to cheat others. They can make anything into anything. There is a sutra in the Paramahamsa Parivaraja Upanishad. It first describes Sanyas ans immediately gives the mantra to take Sanyas! This is because, in the early days, people just by reading about sanyas decided to get sanyas. They needed no reasons! They simply jumped into it. The people were not even asked if they wanted sanyas, they were just given it. Those people were so simple that pure intellectual clarity was enough for them. Subconscious and Unconscious minds are nothing but internalizing the effect of the outer world incidents. Those people lived without internalizing the effect of the outer worlds and therefore were simple people. Paramahamsa is a man who has mastered the art of living without internalizing what happens in the outer world. Now, how do we find out that we are internalizing? If you say – ‘I know that smoking is injurious to health but I am unable to stop smoking’, then you have the unconscious and subconscious minds. The Upanishads say that just by repeatedly chanting ‘Asatho Ma Sadgamaya, Thamaso ma Jothir gamaya, mrithyor ma amritham gamaya, om shanthi, shanthi, shanthi hee’, people have become enlightened; just by hearing ‘Tat tvam asi’, they get enlightened. Because they did not have the subconscious and unconscious minds, intellectual clarity alone was enough for them. Pathanjali says, “Sit straight and meditation will happen”; the mind and body will become one and the same. You create words and logic that survive the Masters. Humanity is not so simple; people started outliving the shastras. The teachings became useless. Then came a big wave of stotras, after Shankara, Dasi Parampara, Chaitanya and Nayanmars.

A man who has got the subconscious mind can overcome it through stotras which are actually love and devotion. Masters say, ‘Direct your love and anger towards the Divine, you will become enlightened. When I say stotras, I mean the techniques that create emotional attachment towards the Divine. For people who have only subconscious mind, stotras are enough. But, people started surviving stotras also. Stotras became useless. A different scripture became necessary. Tantra was given. Tantra will help people with any kind of problem – all possibilities. All sorts of problems exist in the unconscious mind. Tantra is a technique to give solutions for all Beings. It gives techniques to unlock the locks that have happened, happening and yet to happen. Shastras speak about the goal. Stotras speak about the experience. After experience happens, you start singing stotras. In Shastras the question ‘how?’ is never asked; only the question ‘why?’ is asked because Truth is analyzed here. If you ask the question ‘why Existence?’ you will never an answer. Tantra asks ‘how?’ You need to ask ‘how to solve a problem?’ If you ask ‘why problem?’ you can never come out of it. By solving a question, you can never come out; only by dissolving it, you can come out. If you ask me one question and you really hear, you will ask a hundred more questions. People are either bored or tired and so they don’t ask questions; it is not that they have understood. No one actually wants answers. So I keep postponing their questions! You get scared that if you ask questions you will get more questions and so you don’t ask. There was a rakshasa by name Udirasura. If one drop of blood fell from his body, 1000 people like him would come out of his body and if any of them dropped one drop of blood, the same thing would happen. Like this, if you put one astra you will have one lac people and with the second astra, you will have one crore. In the same way…..

Questions come out of words. Words can never solve words. Blood cannot clean blood. You just need to ensure that the person asking the questions gets tired. Just keep answering questions. Most often, people want to show that they are knowledgeable when they ask questions. One man came and met me in the ashram. He went back and told everyone that he had had a long conversation with Swamiji and that Swamiji is a very good orator. Trust me, I did not speak to him at all. He spoke all the time and I simply listened. He is happy that I heard, that’s all! If you are silent, it means that you are preparing your speech, that’s all. When the other person stops talking, you start talking. If the other person is not willing to listen, you will not listen to him. We take others’ problems seriously, that’s the problem. When your wife comes to you with a problem, don’t give her any solution. Just listen to her problem; she wants somebody to listen to her, that’s all. She knows the solution. Same with males too. No one wants answers. Either they want to show that they know or they want to show that they are seekers – their Ego. You do not even know what you are. Try to pick up that book, Anu. Just try to pick up the book. Don’t pick it up but try to pick it up! This is exactly how people try to get Enlightened. They keep attempting to get enlightenment. These seekers are actually deceiving themselves. Either they should pick up or drop. There is nothing called trying to pick up. When you can’t fulfill spiritual poverty, you try to show you are a seeker. When you feel that your house needs good furniture, you will buy good furniture for your drawing room alone. In ordinary poverty, the ego is not hurt but in spiritual poverty, your ego is hurt. People who don’t have the capacity to make money, say they are very honest and therefore unable to make money. Actually, they don’t have the capacity but they can justify it with reasons. But spiritual poverty you cannot justify. You buy the good furniture to show others, not to live with. The Seeker Ego is like this good furniture. You are spiritually poor. At least clarity of this point will allow alchemy to start happening. Honesty and Truth will lead to that. But we don’t want that. Seeker Ego is used as a buffer between you and the Truth. Like how the car has buffer springs or shock absorbers, the seeker ego keeps you away from the shocks of reality that is the road. Seeker ego is the buffer spring between you and reality or enlightenment or the Truth. You are cheating yourself when you say “I am trying.” You are actually playing but it is a costly game. In theend, you will say, “I was a seeker throughout my life.” People tell me, “I was a disciple of Mukthananda since 1972.” When you say this, you are actually damaging your Master’s name. You still have not become enlightened! Don’t tell others that you are my disciple for the past two years. You are actually defaming my name, not spreading me or my meditation. All your questions are postponed by shastras. Shastras create so much words, you get frightened or bored and drop the questions. This is a technique to drop your questions. But people don’t drop, they suppress. Intellectual violence. If you fight with your wife, you will note down points and later compile the answers when you are in the bathroom. You sharpen your weapon! When people are loud, their logic stops working. This is what is subconscious mind. Any experience which you don’t live fully with your Being, leaves a hangover in it and this is what is the subconscious mind. If you have not totally lived in the moment, it creates the subconscious mind; else it gets fulfilled. Karma means the experiences that have not happened fully in you and that you have lived with half of your awareness. Your true nature is fulfillment. So any experience that you have not lived fully, pulls you to complete it. Take smoking for example. You smoke with guilt. Smoke beautifully and fully, it will drop you. You don’t have to drop it! Do you feel you are missing your toys? No! You have played enough. It has dropped you! If you live fully, this car also will drop you; else, it will create a hangover which is called Karma or subconscious. People who live in stotras will cite karma because they are caught in that. They are afraid of karma, they express fear of karma. Stotras are wonderful techniques to go beyond karma. Shastras talk of the goal. Stotras are an expression of the experience. Shastras say that the goal is there. Stotras say, “Oh, so beautiful the goal is!” Shastras say, “Go to the mountain.” Stotras sing the beauty of nature from the mountain top. But how to reach the mountain? This link is given by Shiva – the ultimate enlightenment meditation. This is a wonderful book - Vignanabairava Tantra. Tantra means technique. It doesn’t belong to any religion, creed, caste or sect. It is only techniques to reach the Ultimate. Thomas Alva Edison invented the bulb; the bulb belongs to the whole world, not only to Christians, it belongs to the whole humanity. Tantra is a technique can create inner light. Anyone who wants inner light can get through it a life solution. It connects the shastras and stotras. It fulfils shastras and stotras. It gives ultimate fulfillment. It is the ultimate technique that lead you to the ultimate being. In Tantra, only one question is asked ‘how to?’, never ‘Why?’ It is always ‘how?’ Throughout Gita, Arjuna puts so many questions to Krishna. He actually shows that he is not interested in the answers. Krishna replies to his questions and so Gita is a philosophy. It has become popular because it is for mediocre minds. Tantra is for intelligent people, who are in the minority. Devi asked only one question – actually, it is not even a question; she awakens Shiva to deliver this, to express Himself. Gita is actually intellectuall raping. The two – Arjuna and Krishna are fighting. Krishna says something and Arjuna understands it as something else. Arjuna was so dumb. Krishna was also dumb. If oyu allow the other to ask one more question, you are dumb. You either get him tired or give him the ultimate shot. Krishna didn’t do both. Aruna asks questions and Krishna gives answers. Krishna says “I am everything, I will take care,” Arjuna asks, “Then why should I do?” Arjuna doesn’t use his own dictionary. Krishna gives him the dictionary. First, they give the words and then supply to you their dictionary for the meaning. You can’t use your own words. That is why there are so many philosophies to explain Existence. But Existence is Existence. No answers. The man who can supply his own dictionary to complicate things is a great philosopher. Krishna cunningly cheated Arjuna. You simply vomit your nonsense. Vyasa wrote Brahmasutra. His disciple wrote the Varthika for it. Another disciple Atmananda wrote the Tika for it. If Vyasa read the tika, hw would commit suicide. All you need to do is to create disciples whose life can depend on your photo and your words. They should not know anything creative on Earth. They should not know the qualities of any of the four - Shudra, Vaishya, Brahman or Kshatriya. Then, they will make you great! When you don’t know these four, you will only create more words and complications. In my experience, no commentary is simpler than the original text. There is a joke told by Ramakrishna which goes like this. There was a Swami who was giving a discourse when one lady commented, “I understand when you read, but don’t understand when you look up and speak!” The term Shastrajala maharanya means that Shastra is a forest of books. That is why maybe amazon.com is a book store! The amazon forest is so thick that you can never touch the ground when you land on it . You can land only more than 100 feet above the ground. In Shastrajala maharanya, you can never land on the Truth. If your disciples are successful in creating more and more words, your movement will go on forever. People who create dictionaries are adamant about it because they don’t know about it. Those who don’t know don’t have any hesitation in doing it. One who has seen the Truth knows that words are poor in describing it. That’s why, Tantra asks, ‘How?’ A Scientist asks ‘How?’ whereas a philosopher asks ‘Why?’. Tantra is not concerned about the Truth. It is concerned about your experience of the Truth. Tantra is not a book shop or a library. It is a laboratory. Shastras are libraries. Tantra explains the process of reaching the goal. It is too great a Truth. Normal men cannot digest or tolerate the Truth. A Westerner has said, “Eastern religious Truths are too true. Dont give them to people; let them live with comfortable lies. This is like the scorching sun. Let them live with hopes. A guy took a train to North Bharat. The ticket collector asked him for the ticket. The guy searched all over himself – all except his coat pocket. The ticket collector pointed out that he had not searched in his coat pocket. The guy said that he was desperately hoping that it be in his coat pocket and therefore continued searching with that fond hope! This is like saying ‘Let me live a few more minutes with the Truth, else I will die! When you don’t have investments on your lies, you become a passive listener, ready for Tantra – like Ananda Easwari. For seekers, even if their lies are taken away, their life standard will not be lost. That is why seekers are advised to renounce everything, not for anything else; only to lose their investments on their lies. But I say, don’t renounce, at least don’t stop in your search for the sake of other comforts. See, wherever you have investments in your life, remove your Energy from them. Renounce what you don’t have – the lies which are the things that are not there. Remove them form your Being. Vivekananda says, “Let religion be flooded with reasoning. What withstands reasoning will remain and let what doesn’t be washed away.” The earlier they are washed away, the better for humanity and health. If they are not washed away, they can become cancerous. Any mass that cannot become part of your body becomes a seed for cancer. Anything that cannot become reality becomes a seed for depression for your Being. Sanyas means a man who floods Truth into his Being and allows whatever that cant stand the test of Truth to be washed away. If you can do this, you are a Sanyasi. Sanyasi is not one who wears kavi and lives in the forest. If you can let go for the Truth, you are a Sanyasi. ‘San’ means server and ‘Nyasi’ means purify. If you can become a Truth wash like acid wash, you become a sannyasi (Sarvannayasaha). The only acid which will purify your Being is the Truth.

I am so happy to see this bliss happening in this place. I feel the fulfillment of a mother having given birth to a baby. This place should be Nithyanandapuri. I promise on Shiva’s name to present here and radiate bliss to the whole world. Let Ananda Eashwari be here radiating Ananda Shakthi.

It is now time to introduce the author of this great Tantra. Shiva is the author of this book. Tantra means technique. Vignanabariava means going beyond consciousness or what is know to you.; transcending everything. It is the technique to transcend everything, to go beyond what is known. All religions worked to create only consciousness in you. But Tantra is the only religion which helps you go beyond that you know. Shiva is called Mahadeva, the ultimate God. Human beings experience God in different levels. Shiva is the ultimate experience and the ultimate expression. That is why he is called Mahadeva. You experience God according to your own experience about yourself. If you are in the highly elevated state of consciousness, you experience God that way. For instance, if you are poor man, you start worshipping Lakshmi, the Goddess of wealth. Whatever you lack, you worship. You worship the idol which is the fulfillment of your Being. Whatever you lack, you create fulfillment by worshipping that God. If there is lack of knowledge, you worship Saraswathi; if there is lack of confidence, you worship Durga and Kali. Your Being describes how you are going to worship God. Man stays in the 7 chakras. If you are in the lowest level, that is the muladhara chakra, you are caught in kama or lust. You create a God who can grant all your boons like your manager who can grant you whatever you want. Someone who gives whatever you want becomes your God. That is why God is understood as a giver of boons throughout the world and is very popular. People say that God has power and to go to him. This is because people are caught up in fantasy, expectations and desires and whoever fulfils these become their God. It may be Ganapathi, Lakshmi, Vishnu or Durga. The moment they miss a single boon, they will be thrown out. They have to continuously do their homework, else they will be dethroned. These are the Gods of the Shudras. The moment they don’t sell their time to give boons, they will be thrown out. It is said that Brahmanas will not worship Gods of Shudras. This is a wrong interpretation. They will only not worship temples where the deity has been consecrated by Shudras. Ramakrishna says that when Rani---built the temple of Kali in Dakshineshwar, no one visited the temple because she belonged to the Shudra community. She spent crores of money on the temple but no priest was ready to do pooja in that temple. Ramakrishna’s says brother says that there is nothing wrong and that he will do pooja in the temple. He starts doing the pooja and then Ramakrishna joins him there and does pooja. A Brahman has evolved more in consciousness and does not worship Gods that have been consecrated by Shudras. The man who sells time sees God in a different dimension. The day you fail in your exam, the God’s photo will go to the road. You will ask, ‘Is this Guru realy powerful? Does he really exist?’ Like the IT professionals in the USA.

Next is the man who is caught up in Swadhisthana. He worships the God who you confidence, who you believe will take care of you, who has many weapons and many hands. God is given many hangs because even if one hand fails, the others will help you. In the Upanishad, God is described as ‘Sahasra seeksha…’- with 100s of hands and weapons. He will have bow and arrow, shanka and chakra. In many villages, they give rifle also! Soon they may give atomic bombs! This man experiences God as a protector. That is why villages have a village deity called Ayyanar – a deity on a horse with a sword in the hand. He is also called Sani Mahatma, Muniandi etc.

The third level man stays in the manipuraka chakra. He is continuously worrying and is in confusion. He worships the God which gives clarity and peace. Buddha will appeal to him – peaceful and silent. Such people want idols that radiate peace, that which is silence oriented or prominent.

Next is the man who lives in the anahatha chakra. Here, you are attracted towards the God which showers love on you. Krishna gives love. You worship the God which gives emotional fulfillment like Radha, Chaitanya etc. You start worshipping them.

If you raised to the level of vishuddhi. The God of creativity or Energy appeals to you. Vishwakarma or Maya who are the expressions of creativity or art appeal to you. You experience God as the creator.

If you are centered in the Agna chakra, you experience God as the giver of bliss. In agna, you are locked in ego. Somebody in the egoless state attracts you – Rishis, Seers, Sages, Prophets and Masters. The egoless man becomes your idol. When you are in agna, the real Gurubhakthi can happen in you. You can relate to him in his dimension. Else, you will relate in your dimension.

Therefore, if you are caught in muladhara, you will ask for boons; if you are caught in swadhisthana, you will ask for support; if you are caught in manipuraka, you will ask for peace; if you are caught in the anahatha, you will ask for attention and if you are caught in Visudhi, you will feel he is the ultimate in creativity and will ask to shower his creativity on you. Some people ask me, “If we can’t be around you, what is the use of being with you?” When you say this, you are relating from your level and not from his level. If you are caught in agna, you relate from enlightenment. If you are in sahasrara…All Gods have all levels. You understand them from the level you understand them. You can relate to Masters from all 7 levels, but a relationship doesn’t happen. Disalogues will start only from the 6th level. – the agna level. Till then, it is only a monologue. You have a concept in your mind and you are demanding from me that concept. You don’t know anything about me. That is why when you do agna meditation, you see me as empty space – which is reality because I am empty. Only in the sahasrara chakra, the communion happens. In agna, the communication starts. If you understand how you relate from your Gods and Gurus from chakras, you will not have any problem in life. Jesus says in the Bible, “God created man in his own mould”. But I say, “Man created God in his own mould.” From your level, you create or project God. You understand me from that level. Someone asked me why I don’t do materialization. If I do this and the crowd, I will be a Guru of Shudras or people caught in muladhara. I will be dethroned any day. I don’t want to be a Guru of Shudras. Earlier there was only Shudras around me. No Brahmanas or intellectual guys – not by birth (yoni) but by karma. No elevated disciples. I did not want to be surrounded by fools. Fool will do everything as long as I do their homework. But they will not hesitate to do anything if I don’t do my homework. Swadhisthana people look at me as a peace or confidence giver. Anahatha people make look at me as a giver of love and compassion. Actually is attention that they want. If you get a glimpse of my love, you will be so fulfilled that you will start radiating me in you to others. My love will totally destroy your ego and transform your logic. Your logic will be shaken and it will be so pure and logic less. If you understand it, you mistake it for attention and ask for more. It is dangerous and I know where to stop. People tell me that they feel so much bliss after ASP and ask how to preserve it? I tell them that the moment they want to preserve the bliss, they are destroying it. Choicelesness is Bliss. The moment you choose, you have lost it. You come down from bliss to catch bliss. Nithyananda is like a river. If you try to catch it, it flow away. Nithyananda is like a breeze. If your hands are open, you can feel him. The moment you want to possess Nithyananda, he moves away from you. As long as you are open, he is like a breeze. The moment you freeze, the breeze stops. Choose between breeze and freeze. From anahatha, you relate to me with attention. The moment I don’t give attention, I will be dethroned. When in Vishuddhi.. Staying in anahatha is a great danger. At least in muladhara and swadhishthana, you will be clear that you that you are doing a mistake because they are physical. But in anahatha, you have points to justify yourself. Your cunning ego justifies. If you are asking for love, it is not love, it is only attention. I am continuously radiating love. If you know, at least you can try to transform yourself. I am love. I don’t have to give love, whether I smile or shout. When you can bear one side me and not the other, you are asking for attention only. I was continuously firing one disciple. She asked me to stop firing her. I told her that if she can’t receive my firing, she can’t receive my love also. If you are not porous to firing, you cannot receive my love also. Nithyananda will not be there is you choose. You are reducing e to an ordinary lover who gives you attention. I told her that I will not fire her. She was happy. She doesn’t know what she is missing. This applies to everyone. When Shiva gives the Shiva Sutras to Ananda Eashwari, he gives it not only for her but for all who are in that level. When you feel happy that I am not firing you, the cancer has come to the third or fourth stage. But cancer of the mind is such that you don’t even know that you have it. Physical cancer, you will know. When you want only my laughing dimension, you want only a part of me. You actually destroy me and reduce me to normal man. When you are caught in Vishudhi, you look at me as an inspiration, a source of creativity. When you feel dull, you want me to give you the key that inspires. You don’t have creativity and hence have low self-esteem. You see me as a man who has high self-esteem, as a visionary, as a leader. This is a little purified version but it is not what I am. When in agna, the dialogue starts. Ramakrishna says, “Anybody who has seen me will become enlightened in this janma.” It will be shocking for you to hear this. Thousands of people have seen him. Horsecart, devotes horses** What he actually means is this - anybody who has seen him as he is and not as they think he is. I tell you – anybody who sees me will become enlightened this very moment! Till you come to agna, you don’t see what is, you see only what you want to see. A lady tells me about J. Krishnamurthi – that he had so many relationships. I was surprised to hear this. How can you judge an enlightened man? When you are caught in muladhara, you will do this. Even if J.Krishnamurthi had them, you cannot use the regular word that you use in your life, you have to coin a new word for it. Krishna and the Gopis after rasaleela (which happened exactly this very day! It happened for three purnimas. This day and the following two purnimas.) found that the river Yamuna was flooded. They were on the other side of the river and had to cross it get home. Krishna had eaten so much and danced. He said, “If it is true that I am fasting and am a Brahmachari, oh Yamuna, give way!” Yamuna gave way. The Gopis were shocked. They could not understand. They think their idea of sex is what happened between them and the Krishna. That is why out of all the Gopis, only Radha is worshipped. The Gopis were caught in muladhara. Because you don’t have the dictionary of enlightened Masters, you refer your own dictionary – your oxford dictionary! Krishna says, ‘I am a Brahmachari’ and the Gopis are shocked. Existence listens to my dictionary not to your dictionary. My inner circle people fight with me. They tell me that I tell lies. If there are 10 people, I will say that there are 500 people waiting and that I am tired. This is because you are referring your own dictionary. It will not give you clarity. The moment I see someone referring to the oxford dictionary, I know that they will miss me. I leave them at that level. It is dangerous for you. The Gopis who were the co called seekers will either suspect Krishna or move away from Krishna. You understand whatever happens from your level. There was once a Master from Pune called Nisagrath Maharaj. People asked him, “When you don’t have karma, how do you do your daily activities?” He says that he doesn’t do anything. When they asked him how he is speaking to them, he replies bluntly that he is not speaking to them. If you refer to your oxford dictionary, you will have a doubt about my honesty and whether I am truthful. Again and again, you miss me. The disciples were shocked. They said “But you are uttering these very words that you are not speaking to us!’ The Master says, “I am not speaking, you are hearing.” Now I tell you, I am not sitting here, you are seeing! Don’t think that I am sitting here because you are seeing and don’t think that I am talking because you are hearing. Until you drop your dictionary, you can’t relate with me. Don’t carry any idea that you have related with me. You will only misunderstand if you think so. Whatever way you wanted, it responded, that’s all. This body is an empty vessel. It projects so that you feel comfortable and come near. The moment you come near, you have to realize the Truth. This body is like a screen that projects. Yashodha and Vasudeva wanted to see Krishna as their son and so stone sandals* The Gopis saw him as their beloved and so their relationship was such. Arjuna saw Him as a Master and so He projected himself as a Master. After some time, the Master wants you to understand that he is that which sustains the @ As long as you think that he is a figure like in the movies, you dangerously miss him. Ramana was asked how to see a Master in his waking state after going beyond**Being a lion in a dream will throw you out of the dream. Seeing a Master in the waking state will throw you out of the waking state. The moment you see me in the waking state, I shake you from the root to go beyond your waking state, not to let you be in this comfortable state. I am Simma Sopna, although I look to be the total fulfillment of your hero ideas and more than that. I won’t let that dream continue. I am not the dream that fulfils your fantasies. I am the dream to awaken you. You think you know me without knowing me. Even in the agna, you are apart from the Master. Only when you reach sahasrara, the transcendental expression of the Divine attracts you. You experience God as transcendental reality – as Shiva! That is why Shiva is worshipped as the formless form. That is why Shiva is the ultimate experience or Mahadeva. The teachings of Shudra Gods will be about fulfilling your dreams – mantras and techniques to make more money to fulfill your desires. The swadhisthana God will give techniques to overcome fear. The manipuraka God will give techniques for peace. The Sahasrara God can give you sutras and techniques to reach the transcendental reality. Words form him are the ultimate techniques to experience Reality. He is the ultimate Reality and gives the techniques to the Ultimate Reality. If you understand this one thing, you project God from His understanding. The problem is, the person who reaches there (the sahsrara), finds no one to there so he is alone. The low level people don’t know how to reach; what to do? The Master who has experienced will create the atmosphere to bring questions so that the techniques will come out. The questions of Devi are a small wave created in Amrita Sagara. When a bag of cotton falls into an ocean of honey, there will be no difference between the cotton and the honey. The cotton moved a little and a little honey oozed out. This oozed out honey is called Vignanabairava Tantra – that which can put you in the amrita state. – amrittatva, Nithyananda state, state of eternal bliss. In the sahsrara, there is no one to answer the questions. Then how will the world have the techniques? To answer this question, Shiva takes the form of Ananda Eashwari and he talks to himself. Tantra is so intimate and beautiful that there is no dialogue, no argument, no questions. Brahmasutra and the Gita have many questions and answers. Brahmasutra is filled with kandana mandana – a condemning attitude. It is like drilling you. All shastras are given by God to man – from enlightened to unenlightened; they are made up of questions and answers. All stotras are given by man to God. Tantra is given by God to God. You cant even say God to God; just God that’s all! All shastras are misunderstood because the person who speaks is the dictionary of God and the person who hears refers the dictionary of society. If you refer to a hindi dictionary following he sounds of my English words, it will become very dangerous! For example, When I say ‘bus’, I mean the ‘bus’ but it means ‘enough’ in hindi! A lot more misunderstanding than this has happened with the shastras. With the stotras, there is the dictionary of the poet and the dictionary of prose. When you understand stotras, you are referring your own dictionary. God knows your emotions. A man from poem speaks from different dimension and a man from prose understands differently. With shastras, the mismatch between the dictionaries is as good as that between English and Hindi. With stotras, it is Hindi and Hindi but Mumbai Hindi and TamilNadu Hindi!So you don’t miss much in the level of stotras. Therefore people who work in the level of stotras are never violent. It is under manageable limit. Next is Tantra – God to God. No one commented on Tantra. An acharya is accepted as an acharya only if he has commented on the Brahmasutra, Gita and the Upanishads; ony if has created his own dictionaries for these three books. Tantra is such a pure scripture because it is from God to God. There is no text torture here. No one has spoken on it. It is of a very high standard. No arguments or logic is possible. Only a man who has reached the same state can speak to the disciple who has reached the same state. Only Ananda Eashwar can speak to Ananda Eashwari. Only Shiva can talk to Uma. Let you become Shiva. Unless you become Uma, you cant hear or understand or experience Shiva. Unless you are also established in the sahasrara, you cannot relate with the teachings of the sahasrara. You need to become Uma or Ananda Eashwari for Ananda Eashwar to descend. Else, you will create shastras out of Tantra with your own dictionary! One day Buddha became enlightened. The Heavens celebrated. There was an Amrita cake and the celestial beauties – Ramba, Menaka and Urvasi danced! The skies showered flowers. In another corner, there was a serious discussion in Hell, a discussion amongst a group of aliens. All serious discussions can happen only where there are aliens. The more serious, more will be the aliens. One devil said, “How can you let Buddha become enlightened? It will start spreading and no one will come to hell. There will be no job for us.” There was brainstorming happening with different ideas pouring in. Finally, the Prime Minister devil said, “Stop, don’t worry. What has to be done has been done.” The other devils ask him what he means. He says, “I have already sent intellectual disciples to him. It will not spread now. They will make organizations out of Beings and shastras out of teachings. If you become dictionaries, you will be representatives of hell. Either you become Devi or become a devil. You will receive the Divine if you are Devi. Else, you will make shastras out of Tantra. Let you enter into the state of sahasrara and sit like Devi, passive Let me enter into you like a fragrance when you are established in the sahasrara. When you are in muladhara, you are drilled by the Master. You feel bored because they ‘bore’ you. They are like crowbars. At a little higher level, they are like a knife penetrating you. At the level of sahasrara, they are like a fragrance. The Master doesn’t do anything. If you are alert and aware, the Master can transform you. If you are in muladhara or anahatha, you need to do a lot to allow the knife or drill. When in sahasrara, you just need to be for the alchemy to happen. I am like a fragrance. I am not going to give you any rules or restrictions. I am going to radiate ecstasy bliss and fragrance. If you are alert and aware, catch the smell and experience it.

Expressed by Devi - what constitutes seed? This one line is enough, I can speak till Shivarathiri! Because this is the ultimate doubt. All of you know u r atman. Atman is your true nature. You are the ultimate Energy. Whether you believe it or not, accept it or not, realise it or not, you are God. All of you know that. You have memorized it because again and again i repeat it. But you suffer. You have body and mind so you suffer. How and why and when does the atman become body and mind? When does it become body and mind? How, when, why the atman becomes body mind? How? When? come out with answers. When u chose? why did u choose? Because we have memories and desires. why did memories and desires come; they say atman itself is energy, enjoyment and bliss. why did it get some other desire? How did you become this person? By choice. Why was there choice. Due to karma. How did karma start? Because of previous births. How did the previous birth start. Because of poorva janma vasana. How did poorva janma vasanas start? Because of desires. How did desires start? Because of maya. How did maya start. Because of ignorance. How did ignorance start? It goes back to why the drama world started. How did the world start? Because God wanted to experience himself. You and Shiva are one and the same. Because of illusion. Why did the illusion start? How did the ignorance start? Shiva is playing. Why Shiva is playing? Because he wanted to amuse himself. Becuase he wanted to amuse himself? Then, if you are atmans, then you are possible amusements. Why do you want some more amusements? It means that you bored. Then how can you say you are atman, how can you say you are bliss? Then again the state you are going to reach, you will need some more amusements. Better you carry our amusement things! It goes back to why is there even physical life. That is what. Why? To understand the atman. Why should you understand the atman? You are already atman. To understand the atman. You were atman earlier, why should you experience atman? Because consciousness enters us. Why should consciousness enter you? Consciousness is supposed to be all pervading, omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. It goes back to the individual consciousness and super consciousness. That is what. Why is there individual consciousness and super consciousness? If we know the answer, why are we sitting here Swamiji? Swamiji, Energy is action. Energy is action?! New philosophy. Please dont start creating new philosophies. The next generation will start cursing you becuase they have to start reading one more philosophy. Becuase we forgot the past. Why did you forget the past? Because you scrambled there also? Becasue we forgot the expiereinces of the body and mind. How will you forget if you are the atman? Can you repeat the the question? Laughs... What constituets seed? You are basically atman. But you have suffering becasue of the body and mind. How did you become body and mind? Why should you have suffering? If you supposed to be atman, why do you suffer. The atman does not suffer, only the body and mind suffer. If you suffer, do you feel the suffering or not? Yes. Then how can you say that the atman is not suffering, if you are atman? Right now, i am as I am, associated with the body and mind. That is what - how did you get associated? We broke the link. How did you break the link? Like how you broke the bottle in my room? Becuase of desires Swamiji. How did you get desires. First of all, you are atman. How will you able to get other choices? Because in atman, only one thing exists and that is atman. Superconscious play. Superconscious play means what? With whom? with itself. How will you play with yourself? Energy and consciousnesss is there. It creates so much variety. So you say Energy and consciousness are two different things? No, they are together. They are together and create. How can they be together and not separate? Together means they must be two. Swamiji, its like two sides of the same coin. But it is coined as two sides, not one. In Atman, there are no two sides. there is only one, not even a side. Weve seen it as two. Consciousness and Energy are there. Creating. Just existing by itself is not fun. It creates itself. So you need some fun! What will it do just lying like that. Oh so you think Atman means just lying like that! Consciousness is there Swamiji. We are not talking about now, we are talking about from the beginning - the big bang, back hole. It has to express itself isn’t it? It is so full. When it has to express itself, it means it is not fulfilled when as it is, am i right? No Swamiji, it is so full that is has to express itself. When it is so full, where else will it express? where is the place for it to express? It has to express itself within itself - the differnet dimensions. It has different dimensions means lower dimension and higher dimension. Different levels Swamiji. Menas higher level and lower level? or two different levels? No Swamiji, thee is an atman (shows a circular plane). Like a dosai? Laughter. What size atman? It is filled with potentiality. In its own space, it expresses itself with so much variety and beauty. If it expresses iteself in some more variety and some more beauty, how can it be called as atman. Atman is ultimate fulfilment. There is nothing more or nothing else to happen. That is what is Atman. Swamiji, if we knew that, we would not be sitting here Swamiji! OK, now you know that you are sffering becuase of the body and mind. But you know that you are atman. So how did you become body and mind? If you know you are atman, your Self understanding, atmanepo, swayam jyothi, swayamprakasha. sudda chaitanya. But, till 54, did not know i was atman, i thought i was only body and mind. Only now, i know that i am atman. It means, till the age of 54, you were thinking that you were body and mind. After 54, you know you are only the atman. Now, how did the atman become body, mind? Swamiji, in Science, there is Energy. This Energy will dissipate in some means or crystallize. Yes, but Atman is full, no gap - it is full Energy. Then how will it dissipate or where will it crystallize? Or maybe it falls down in potential level. Then if there is a potential level and an actual level, then there must be two atmans. Same atman Swamiji. If it is the same atman, then how can it have two levels? Atman is supposed to be the same. But it has intelligence Swamiji. Yes, but intelligence, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, everything should be permanent. Swamiji, what is causing it to dissipate Energy, that is what is not found. That is what i am asking - what constitutes the seed? The dynamics changes. If there is a dynamic change, how can that be called as Ultimate? Swamiji, it is like the chicken or egg question. Chicken first or egg first. Egg only; from egg never chicken comes. Oh sorry! chicken only, from chicken, never egg comes, from hen only egg comes! I just missed the word. From chicken, never egg comes, from hen only egg comes. Swamiji, the question 'What consitutes the seed?' is ours. Ananda Eashwari asks the question. It is a doubt. Alright! Anybody else has got nay other answers? Swamii, did Shiva do this to Devi before giving her the answer? YOu see, after she became Devi she asked this question. She was already Devi. But i have to make you all Devi. After becoming Devi, she asked this question Swamiji. Then what do we know. This is too much! YOu see, becuase she was Devi she asked these questions, but you guys are giving answers becuase you think you are Shiva! If you realy felt you are Devi, the moment i put this question, you would have said, no, no, we dont know, please give the answer. But Swamiji, that's what we said, but you kept saying no, no tell the asnwer. That is what i will do, but you should be very clear that you dont know. We tried. Yes, you tried. Becasuse you asked we tried. Even if i ask...see, for example, a small thing - If I ask you, who are all sitting in the office now, what will you answer? You dont know. Swamiji, i will go and find out. No, no, going and finding out is a different thing. YOu should sit here and answer. I would have told that i dont know Swamiji. Yes, you would not have said, 'maybe five people maybe ten people right?' Swamiji, thats because once i said i dont know, you would not have asked again. But now you asked again and again, so we tried! Swamiji, we thought that you are coming in our minds to give the asnwer, so we tried. Laughs. Swamiji, you just wanted to have some fun, thats all. No ma! I just wanted you to understand that this is the ultimate question. which cannot be asnwered. This is a doubt which cannot be answered, only experience can be given as the reply. The moment you try to answer this question, you create a new philosophy. Now i come ot the quesiton. Who all tried to answer this question (people raise their hands). No, no, not here. Who all tried to answer in the early times. There were many idiots who tried to answer it from times. Who all tried to answer this question created new philosophies. The list of fools who tried to answer this question starts from Sri Adi Shankara and comes step by step to Pathanjali and then goes to Buddha, Mahavir, Jesus, Chaitanya, Krishna - one by one a big list. Actually, all these guys have only become different kinds of religions. These religions have done more damage to Planet Earth than their so called service. In the last 3000 years, 5000 religious wars have been fought on Planet Earth. You may be shocked to listen to all these Truths but listen carefully. I am speaking based on facts not hypotheses. In the last 3000 years, 5000 religious wars have been fought on Planet Earth because all these people tried to answer this question intellectually. They should have been very clear - either by experience you know or you don't know. But when you try to answer intellectually, you cretae a philosophy and followers who start fighting with the other Masters' followers. Rama and KRishna never had a problem. But Rama's monkeys and Krishna's goats always had a problem. Shiva and Rama never had a problem. But Shiva boothas and Rama's monkeys always had a problem. WHomsoever tried to answer this question intellectualy created one dakshana, one philosophy, one sutra, one religion. Anybody who tried to answer this question created a big mess on Planet Earth. because this is the basic question. Here Shiva, the ultimate enlightened Master never answered this question. He never answers this question. He just gives the technique for you to experience. YEsterday I had a fight with Amma (points to a lady disciple sitting near him). I told her that she was my mother in a previous janma. She asked which janma. I told her that in some one janma. She asked, "Were you enlightened in that janma?' I said 'Yes'. Then she asked, "Then if you say you were enlightened, then for seven generations up and seven generations down, you say that your parents will be liberated. Then why have i not become enlightened or liberated? You have not done your homework properly." I told her, "No, no, at that time i was not enlightened. After getting enlightened, i came to know that i was enlightened even at that time." She says, 'No, you are giving me reasons. Now come out and give me the clear reason, clear logical answer. If I was your mother and if you were enlightened at that time, then why was i not liberated? Why do i have to come down once again?" I told her, "No, at that time i was not enlightened. Only after becoming enlightened now, i came to know that i was enlightened in the past, present and in the future. Do you understand this concept?" No Swamiji. That was the fight that was going on yesterday. The question remains as question. Unless you experience, the question will remain as a question, becuase for you, the past, present and future exist, but for me the past present and future do not exist. It has just fused. For you it exists becuase it exists. The moment the thoughts fall down in the time shaft, there will be no past and future. When there is no past and future, how can you use the word present? That means we can also be like you? Yes! The moment you create past and future, present happens. Unless you experience the zone where past, present and future do not exist, you will never understand that there is a zone where past, present and future do not exist. For example, can you explain the ASP experience to a person who has not done it? How much ever you try, what will you say finally? 'We all danced!'. You will give only a wrong idea. You will only misrepresent me. You will give only the wrong idea. This small ordinary experience, if you say that unless you experience you can't understand, how can i reply to this question - such a huge experience? This question can never be intellectually replied to. You can only be given a technique for you to experience and start speaking in the same way that i am speaking now. Swamiji, actually in Physics, the nearest thing to this is, when you start traveling in the velocity of light, time comes to stand still. Actually, when you reach the intensity of velocity of light, time actually comes to a standstill. It freezes. Traveling in the speed of light means, you reach beyond visualization. All your visualization is only light. You visualize only with different lights. High beam light is white and low beam light is black. Colours are nothing but the play of light - different frequensies of light. So, when you reach a state beyond visualization - menas no-mind state, you don't have time. This is what i say - Mano theetha, kala theetha - when you go beyond mind, you go beyond time. Anyhow, now understnad this question - what constitues seed? Actually, if this one questions is understood, all 'sat dakshanas' you will understand; in this one question. Pathanjala and Sankhya, Gnaya and Vaiseshitha, Purvamimamsa ad Uttaramimamsa. Six philosophies are there in Bharat - major philosophies. All these six philosophies you will understand if you understand this one question. People have tried to answer these six questions from six levels - from six chakras again. The seventh guy - the sahasrara - he gave the experience, never the answer. He never opened his mouth. These six guys who are established in six levels tried to give six different explanations. Swamiji, will this take care of Western philosophy also. Yes. All Western philosophies are nothing but by products of these six major philosophies. Now let me come out - what constitutes seed? what is the karana for everything? The first level people who are caught in the muladhara, when they tried to answer, their answer is what is Karmakananda - Do homa, yagna and rituals - you will get this. They are established in desires, kama. Muladhara. What is the solution? Pour ghee in the homa and pray to God, you will get the benefits, the rewards. Karmakanda, kama - satisfying your desires. Do this homa, you will have heaven there. When people caught in muladhara try to answer this question, they put karma as a karana for the whole Jagath. That is why it is called Karmakananda. If you have a little bit of background of these philosophies, you enjoy this session! Because i am bringing the whole gist into a line. People caught in the muladhara say that karma is the ultimate. They say, do this homa, you will get that. That is what is called Poorvamimamsa, karmakandis. They say that heaven is the ultimate and the karana to reach heaven is homa, over. This is their answer. Next is, swadhishtana guys. Fear. They gave the answer - Vedanta - Uttaramimamsa. That is why the katopanishad is from Vedanta; swadhishtana meditation is from Vedanta. The people who are caught in the swadhishtana chakra, in Vedanta - their answer to this question is fear; They are Vedantins. That is why they delivered the Upanishads - to go beyond fear. NExt are the people who are caught in manipuraka. They came out with a philosophy - Gnaya. Thailadara pathra or pathradara thaila - logic. Actually your logic originates from manipuraka only. From manipuraka only your words originate. The words come out only from manipuraka - Darthashastra. They say words are the reason; words are the karana. That is why the bible says, 'From sound only the whole universe came out.' Om ithi Brahma. Om ithyekaksharam Brahma. Gnaya - for them the ultimate is words - Gnayis. They say from the word only the whole world came out. People who are centered in manipuraka. They are the worshippers of Brahma. That is why Brahma is always depicted as the person who came out of the nabi of Vishnu. From the manipuraka of Vishnu cane Brahma. Vishnu means what exists. Sarvam Vishnumayam Jagath means what is is Vishnu. From the navel of the universe came Brahma. Logic. That is why Brahma is never resepected in our philosophy. Brahma means logic - Saraswathi.Saraswathi itself is sitting in his tongue. Logic. The people wo are caught in the manipuraka try to answer this question - 'what constitutes seed?' Their answer is logic. Logic is everything. Gnaya is everything. If you learn a little bit of gnaya, you will have so much of ego. That is why Brahma is described as the embodiment of Ego in our Puranas. Once Vishnu and Brahma started fighting as to who was greater. Shiva appeared as a light pillar - Deeba sthamba or Arunachala. He said, 'If one of you try to find either my feet or my head, you are the greater person." Both of them decided to search. Vishnu becmae a pig (varaha) and started digging the earth. He went on digging and digging. Brahma became an hamsa and started flying. He flew and flew upwards. After 1000s of years, Vishnu was totally tired and decided that it was time to surrender. He took a bell and tied it around the leg of Shiva. In all Shiva's statues, you will see that there is a bell around his leg. It signifies that Vishnu was abe to travel only upto that place. Brahma was flying when he suddenly saw a thazhamboo (a flower). HE caught it and asked, "Where are you from?" It answered, "One devotee offered me to Shiva. Shiva, instead of keeping me on his hair kept me on his ears. I fell down from there and i am still falling; i have not reached the ground. Brahma asked, "How long have you been flying?" The flower replied, "Oh! I have been flying for four ages of BRahma." BRahma was totally frightened. ChaturBrahmaYuga. One age of Brahma is one Brahma Yuga. ChaturBrahmaYuga. Brahma was totally shaken. He thought to himself - if I travel for chaturbrahmayuga, i will only reach the ears of Shiva, not his jada (hair). He asked the thazhambu, "Can you do me a favour?" The thazhambu asked what it was. Brahma said, "I will tell Shiva that i have seen his head. You be a witness to it." The thazhambu thought to itelf, "Anway, i am falling, What is there in this. I will be a witness." It agreed. When a disciple tries to help anothee disciple against the Master, he does the same thing. If a disciple does a mistake, and you thing - let me not tell this to Master, let me support him, out of compassion, you do this same mistake, what the thazhambu has done. The thazhambu has no income, it has nothing to gain by witnessing Brahma. It thought, "Poor guy, he has to suffer, i can after all help him." The moment you think this way for another disciple, you do this same mistake. YEsterday thats what these idiots have done. SOme guy wanted to eat. The others thought, what is there after all, et me show my compassion...YOu should your compassion in your ashram, not in my ashram! not in the place where i made the rules. YOu should show your compassion to your disciples. not to my disciples. Anyhow, both of them agreed and they came down. BRahma said, "I have seen your head." AS if SHiva doesnt know. From his ear only this flower is falling but it forgets that Shiva knows everything. He was falling for a long time so he lost touch with Shiva! What happened after that you know. Shiva cursed Brahma that he will never have any temples and he cursed the thazhambu that it will never be used for his worship. When you try to give your compassion to another disciple against me, you will also have this same trouble. Even in the name of compassion, dont cross the rules of the MAster. , the discipline of the Master, the words of the Master. This is the story.Now, we have any things to learn from this story. Who is Vishnu? He is he husband of Lakshmi - wealth. He is the representative of wealth. Who is Brahma? He is the husband of Saraswathi - representative of knowledge or intellect. You must undertand one basic Truth. Neither by intellect nor by knowledge you can achieve Bliss. Neither by intellect nor by knowledge you can achieve God. YOu cannot reach the ultimate through wealth or through intellect. Seocnd Truth - if you ttry to achieve through wealth, sometime you will have success of depression and will end up having some intelligence. There is a chance that you may be saved. When you try to achieve through wealth, at some time, say when you are fifty, after tou have everything that you wanted to hav, you will face success of depression and there is a possibility that that you will turn towards God. There is a possibility that you will surrender. But if you work in the path of intellect, you will never be saved. When you go thorugh wealth, you will at least be abe to say, "I can't, I'm done, enough!" But when you try to go through the intellect, not only will you not be able to achieve, you will try to get a witness to show that you have achieved. Rituals are the false witnesses brought by the people who have worked in the line of knowledge to achieve but who have not achieved the ultimate Truth. Rituals are the thazhambus. They have not achieved, but they wanted to show people that they have achieved. Thye use the false witnesses and the wrong techniques. Wrong rituals. When rightly done, ritual itself will become a meditation. Every pooja starts with dhyana. When wrongly done, meditation itself will become a ritual. Wrong techniques and wrong philosophies have been brought in by the people who tried to achieve through intellect but couldn't achieve. All these sat dakshanas are the thazhambus brought down by different people. The people who have not achieved, not only have not achieved but also don't agree that they have not achieved. The third lesson - flying high is Rajas, going low is Tamas. Neither Rajas nor Tamas can lead you to Bliss or God. Brahma is the representative of logic or Gnaya. It is a complete aniyaya. Gnaya is compete aniyaya. The people who are caught in the manipuraka give logic or gnaya as a solution. They say that if you are a great Dargi, if you can conquer anybody, you know the solution. Conquering is the solution. That is why it goes on changing from time to time and place to place and Darga has no end. Darga is the gnaya. Darg - logic, debate have no end.

Choicelessly you are enlightened. Choicelesness is Bliss. Whenever you choose, you choose only suffering; becuase choosing itself is suffereing. The very choosing itself is suffering. Whenever you are in choicelesness, you are in bliss. Choicelesness is bliss, choosing is suffering. Swamiji, please enlighten us as to what is your reality. Laughs....Now i have to give the whole Shiva Sutra. For that question only Shiva gave the Shiva Sutra. Now i have to give the whole Shiva Sutra. Wait and listen. For getitng the answer for this, the eligibility is that we should become Uma. Yes, ofcourse. But now i tell you - I will make you Uma and make you enlightened. The job is not a big deal. Laughs. Somehow, when a person does something wrong, I become aware of it no? There is no specific time or place - I just come to know of it no? Yes Swamiji, somehow when we we do something that we are not supposed to do, even if we try to cover it, you come to know of it. Last night, what has happened - I went to my quarters. The brahmacharis were under the assumption that as always I would not not come out once I go into my quarters in the night, and so they went into the kitchen and took out all the sweets and started a session of eating. The rule of the ashram is that, except at the time of the main meals, no one should eat anything, because the volunteers at the kitchen will then start having continuous work of cleaning etc. During the time of meals, they are allowed to have anything they like. In any case, I don't eat much of what is brought in, only the boys eat it. Correctly last night, I entered the kitchen at that time. The food is there for them to eat; who else is going to eat it? But they disobeyed a rule. The deed by itself is not wrong, the attitude is what is wrong. They got caught! They would not have dreamt that Swamiji would walk in at 1am. Somehow, correctly they get caught. Even if they don't get caught by directly making mistakes, they get caught by simply being present when there is a mistake being done. That is what is called Energy Field. Energy field is something inside which nothing wrong can happen, nothing that will miss the eye. These boys have a tight bond between. Thye will never leak things out to me. Even if 10 of them get together and do something wrong, the news will never reach me. Inspite of this, I am correctly there when they do it! You see from the helicopter Swamiji. No, I see from satellite!

Nw it is time to enter into the questions of Devi. Or i can cay, doubts of devi. not even questions of Devi, doubts of Devi. Question is too much, arrogance. Questioning itself is arrogance. Expressing that I have doubt is what is surrender. When you go with doubts, your problems are solved. When you go with questions, you get only answers. When you go with doubts, you get the experience. When you go with questions, you get only answers. When you bring questions, you come only with your intellectual portion. You think you are only your intellect. You think an answer can solve your problem. When you bring doubt, you bring your whole Being and you know that you dont know. You know only one thing - you want solution. You dont know anyting else. So you dont give brackets, you dont give preferences, you dont give suggestions. The first doubt of Devi is, 'Oh Shiva! what is your reality?' I think she must have been wonderstruck - seeing the multidimensional aspects of Shiva. People who live around me ask me, "Swamiji, actually who are you?" What is your reality? She mustve been wonderstruck. When you see something and you are in awe, which is too much, which you cant understand, the first question is, 'Oh! what is your reality?' Even with me, unless you come to that question, none of your questions are worthy. That is the first question that you can ever ask me. Only then you start relating with me. Before that, whatever questions you asked, it has nothing to do with you and me. It is from the lower chakras. Only when you feel this and ask this question...this question shows that Shiva was beyond the comprehension of Devi's intellect. She understands that she is not able to put him under any frame. No frame is working! I am not able to predict him, I am not able to grasp him. Shiva is such a wonderful personlality - multidimensional personality; everything playign beautifully into one Being. If you see him, he is the ultimate lover. The other side if you see him, he is the Master of death. If you see from muladhara, he is the ultimate lover. That is why we worship him in the form of a linga. Next, if you see from the svadhishtana, the fear, he is Miryunjaya - Halahala. He has destroyed Yama. he is the Halahala. If you see from swadhisthana, he is the ultimate again. If you see from manipuraka, he is the eternal peace. A great meditator in silence - drawn into the silence. He is just the embodiment of silence- sitting in Kailash. If you see from anahatha, he is the ulitmate beloved, embodiment of love, compasion and care. He comes down for the sake of the disciples. He goes to any extreme. For the sake of Sundara, one of his great devotees, he did even the job of wimp. He did the job of wimp for the sake of Sundara. In Chennai he did that job. Not even just once, second time also. The first time, Sundara wants to marry a girl and so Shiva goes to the girl and begs her, 'Please marry him. He is a good guy." he recommends. The girl says, "He is a good man but he is a womaniser; how can i marry him?" Shiva says, "No, i am guarantee, please marry him." Anyhow, she marries beause Shiva himself is giving the guarantee. But Sundara, you know - after two years, he started running around someone else. This girl curses him. But Shiva keeps quiet. He does not even to bother to tell him not to do these things. Sundara asks Shiva again, "Shiva, please come down. This second girl is here who is not agreeing to marry me." He simply comes down and goes to the second girl to represent Sundara. when he starts walking, Sundara tells him, "You are wearing chappals; she will think you are somebody big." In those days, when someone goes as a representative should not wear chappals and upper clothing. It was a custom those days. When you go to represent somebody, you go as his servant. So you should not wear upper clothing and sandals. They are considered as a second class citizen. That is why when the Pandavas lose their kingdom in the Kaurava Sabha, they are asked to remove their upper clothing. The second class citizens are not allowed to wear the upper clothing and the servants are not allowed to wear upper clothing and sandals. Even now, in some villages the custom is there. In front of the Master, they are not allowed to wear the upper clothing and sandals. They put the upper cloth on the hip and do the namaskar. So sundara tells Shiva and immediately Shiva removes the sandals and just walks without the sandal to go and represent Shiva. So it is the ultimate compassion - embodiment of ultimate compassion. If you see from the angle of Vishuddhi. he is the unique creator. You cant see anybody more unique than him. Incomparable. You cant compare him with anything. If you can put him under one frame, you can compare. But you cant put him in any frame. You can't say he is a Sanyasi, or a Samsari or a Brahmachari or a vagabond; becuase he is everything and something more! He is so perfect in every place. All vagabonds think that Shiva is their ideal because Shiva is the greatest vagabond. He goes all over the world and begs and eats from Devi. Annapurani gives the food for Shiva. all house holders think that Shiva is their idol, because he keeps Devi beside him and has two children - one fat fellow and one handsome guy - Ganesh and Skanda. He lives with a big family so all householders think that Shiva is their idol. All Sanyasis think that Shiva is their idol - Yogeshwara - completely merged in meditation. You can see al your aspects in full form in Shiva. From the agna if you see, he is the ultimate Energy - egoless Energy, egoless Being and enlightened soul. If you see from sahasrara, you cant see anyone else filled with more Bliss - Ananda Nataraja, continuously dancing - the expression of bliss. From any dimension when you see, you will the full form - something more than your so called idol. From a ny level if you erlate with him, he is more than what you can imagine; he is more than what you can visualize. When you live around a Master, either you become mad or you become enlightened - no other way. You cant escape, because he is such an Energy, he has got so many multidimensions. Either you understand and digest him and become enlightened or you get confused and become mad. That is why I tell people, if they are not qualified and dont want to become enlightened, better not to live around me, because you are taking a risk. BEcause, you cant get away from me. You cant get away from me. You can get away from something simple, but you cant get away from me. BEcause I am such a big Energy. NAturally after living a long time around Shiva, Devi must have felt that it is too much. She must have thought that either she will go mad or she should be cleared from these doubts. So in the awesome mood, she asks, 'Oh Shiva! what is your reality? Who are you?' When you ask, 'Who are you?' it is disrespectful. If you ask me, 'Who are you?', I can always tell you, 'Oh, I was born in Arunachala...' I can just give my biographical facts. But when you ask me what is my reality, I have to give the Truth. Fact is not Truth. If somebody asks who you are, you can always give your biographical facts. But if somebody asks you what is your reality, you cant say anything. If She had asked, 'Who are you?', Shiva would have delivered the Shiva MahaPurana - This is the time I appeared here; all these asuras are killed by me; this is my glory; i blessed all these devotees; i took care of all these people; this is my life. But She is so intelligent, she asked, 'What is yor reality?'. That is why the Shiva Sutras came out. she hit the right point. Throughout the cow's body, milk is available, but only through the udder you can get the milk. If you start masaging the horn or the ears or the mouth, what will you get? only saliva! Only when you massage the udder you get the milk. You are supposed to touch the right point, or you are supposed to ask the right question or you are supposed to raise the right doubt to get clear. She asks beautifully. 'What is yor reality?'

The next question - 'What is this wonder-filled universe?' This question shows the mentality of Devi. If we were supposed to ask, we would have asked, 'what is this universe?' never 'what is this wonder filled universe?' She asks 'what is this wonder filled universe?' means what? She is living with a child like innocence. For children, the universe is wonder filled because they dont have logic. They dont think that this was the same chair which was there yesterday. They dont think that this is the same room which they sat in yeaterday. They dont think that this is the same sun which they saw yesterday. They know the Truth - the sun is new, this room is new, this chair is new, I am also new, you are also new. Continuously you are changing; continuously you are getting updated. continuously you are moving. A Western philosopher syas, 'You cant step into the same river twice.' Why? Because the moment you put the second step, the water flows. But I tell you, you cant step into the same river even once, because the moment you put your feet adn it touches the ground, the water has already moved. By the time you travel from the water level to the ground level, the water has already moved. You cant even put your feet once in a river. Where is the question of twice! COntinuously Existnece is changing. If you trust that Existence changes and you also change, you can never get settled with your ego - which is nothing but a rigid mechanism. Only a person who is egoless can trust that the universe is changing and you are also changing. A person who is established in ego can never understand that that the universe is changing and you are also changing. The man who sells his time will never understand that the universe is changing because he will be caught in a routine. Not being caught in a routine is a basic discipline for enlightenment. If you are in a routine, you become so unaware that you stop believing, you stop realizing that Existence is changing, your life is changing and you are also changing. I have seen some government servants working for 30 years in the same office. They would not even have moved their table from one place to another place and they forget that their table can be moved and that the building does not have the table as an inbuilt system; that it is not an anchor. they forget that their table is movable. By and by they start believing their table is immovable. Even in your house, dont live with the same kind of furniture arrangement. Once in 2-3 months, change it. Once in 2-3 months, create a little bit of chaos. You will feel that you are living in a new house. Otherwise you will become dead. I have seen people - they will have 10 rooms, because of their habit, they would not have gone to the other eight rooms in 3-4 months in their house. You would not have gone to the extreme of garden in the last 2 years! You have a track - you get down from the car, go to the kitchen or to the bedroom, come back, and get into the car. You will live on a tack. The mind feels comfortable if it has got a definite system. If I had created a definite system, I would have had thousands and thousands of idiotic disciples. People ask, 'Swamiji, why have these rituals and worship become so popular even though they are very difficult and complicated, whereas meditation..'? Just understand one thing - If I tell people, for every Pournima or the next 12 months, go to the Arunachala temple and go around the hill, they will tell me, "Oh, you are Arunachala Himself Swamiji. Surely we will do." They go around without missing even a single month. If they miss one month, they themselves start again from first and don't feel satisfied until they finish it. They do it with so much of difficulty - 4 hours of hitting each other while walking! If I tell them to sit for half an hour and do Mahamantra meditation, they say, "Very difficult Swamiji, no time Swamiji." The rituals are so complicated and so difficult but they take it and do it. Anything that is definite can spread. In that they are definite. Even when they come back, nothing would have changed in them - except a little bit of leg pain; nothing else would have happened to them. But in mahamantra, they are not definite, they are not sure. Some personality change may happen. They are not sure of the outcome, it is a risk! Going into meditation is a risk. Going around the hillock, they know - they will have a little more leg pain that's all. But here, it is a risk. That is why people go to temples to see God. The temple Gods have become very popular because they don't speak; because they don't change your life; because they don't ask you to do something. You can do everything, all possible nonsense; just enter into the temple, pay 25 rupees and tell your name, address, your website address, your email ID and God will 'prasada siddi rasthu!'. In the end, 'ashtaishwarya prasada siddhi rasthu...' you will have the garland and the prasad and you will feel very happy. But here I will ask you - what are you doing? what is your life? There comes the trouble. Here if you come again and again, you will be forced to change your life trend becuase of this atmosphere or without even your knowledge, you may be inspired by me. WIthout even your awareness, you may be inspired by me. So there is a danger. Either consciously you have to change or unconsciously, you may start changing. Many people come and tell me, "Swamiji, nowadays we started talking like you - we say 'nalladu, nalladu!' We have started laughing like you! We have started behaving like you." Many people come and tell me. Many of your behaviours are coming in me. We start using your slang. We start behaving like you." It's such a danger. I am such a solid force that I may start penetrating you. So anything definite is safe. The most definite thing on planet earth is your tomb, your graveyard! You are definite about everything in your graveyard. The more and more you live with definition and security the more and more you are dying. The more you die, the more you live with definitions. You live with definite realities, with definite things only when you die. That is why, when you live with a definite track in your house, your house will have a vibration of a graveyard. Once in a while, dance in the main hall of your house - the space will be purified, the akasha, the chitakasha, the space will be purified. Once in a while play some kirtan, do a little bit of dance. That place will be associated with the memories. I assure you, your bedroom will always be associated with a nagging-like attitude. You enter into the bedroom, you will feel the sickness, because that is associated with those thoughts. Once in a while, shuffle the whole house. Have a small out-house, go and stay there. Don't have a clear frame. Change the furniture's directions, put this idol there, that idol here, so that your mind will not get stuck with a single attitude. If you find that someone is sitting in a sofa, the next time when you sit on it, consciously or unconsciosuly, the same mood will happen in you. You do not know. Have you seen - when you go in a car, the driver will be driving and you will be sitting. Suddenly you will say 'chi' with a dismmissing wave of your hand becuase you are thinking something and then you will start thinking of something else after this. Then you will be shocked that the driving is looking at you. What happens to you - you soemthing on the road which connects, creates or awakens some memory in you, which you do not want to cherish. Unconsciously, that memory is awakened. For example, you would have seen some furniture hoarding, advertisement of a paricular furniture. You would have seen the furniture in your enemy's house. Immediately, your mind unconsciously associates that and your memory goes to your enemy. Immediately, your mind gets disturbed by him and you think, 'I shouldn't think of this.' and you try to change your thought pattern. If you live with the same things, you will create a track of memory. You will have very less access to your own Being. Listen here, your mind and your house are one and the same. Your Being and your house are one and the same. If you don't live in your whole house, be very clear, you are not living with your whole memory. That very clearly proves that you are not living with your whole memory. People ask me, "How can you have access to so much of information Swamiji? It is mind boggling. So much of information coming out. So many quotations from Valluvar to Einstein, Buddha to Gita, Gurdjieef to Gurudwars. First of all, how can you store? Second, how are you able to access it? Even if we are able to store, we are not able to access it." Only when someone comes with a head ache, you remember all the headache medicines. Sometimes you forget and remember the stomach problem medicines! Suddenly yesterday, the Fox story came. Surely, I also have not read that story after the first standard. From where does it appear? There is a clear access to the memories created at the age of 4 and 5. How is this possible? How can this happen? Because I don't live on a particular track. I have no emotional attachment to a particular memory. A small story that happened - One guy used to read only philosophy books. He will go to the library regularly but he will go straight to the philosophy books, that is the only interest. After three years, he suddenly wanted to read some fictious novels. He goes and asks the librarian that he wants to read fiction. The librarian says, "Just in the next cupboard is fiction!" This man was shocked to understand that in the last three years, he has not even looked at it. You are also doing the same thing in so many places. Suddenly you will see that in the corner of your street, a big coconut is there! It is not that the coconut tree is teleported. You suddenly see it and think, 'I have never seen this!'. How many times have you experienced this? Many times! Even in your body, you will suddenly see a mole. Why to talk about the street? Suddenly in front of the mirror you will see that there is a new black mark in your body. Because the man was attached emotionally to that portion of the library, he forgot that other portions also existed.You reduce yourself when you choose.

Devi asks, "Oh Shiva, what is your reality? What is this wonderful Universe. What constitues Seed? Who Who centres this universal wheel. what is thif life beyond form perrvading forsms. How may we enter it fully beyond space adn time, names and desctiptions. Let my doubts be cleared.

- When you say let my doubts be cleared, it becomes clear that you don't want answers or support, you want solutions! - words or energy or techniques - it doesn't matter- you should be free from doubts. - When questions become a quest and when urge becomes urgent, you start speaking in this language. - Many types of seekers - window shoppers. They go from Master to Master. Going from M to M is not wrong. But not learning from any M is what is wrong. - I always tell people - go to as many gardens, but pluck flowers and make a beautiful garland. Many people go to mny gardens, but dont pluck any flowers from any garden. - They act as if they are seekers. They just want to satisfy themselves that they are seekers. Hypocrisy. I tell them, it is better to leave this whole seeking. Either put whole effort and do it or just leave it and pull your life. - These superficial seekers are the most dangerous people. They have everything from car to bungalow bank balance. All ivory items - showcase things. They feel they are missing spirituality in their show case. They want to have me in their showcase not in their hearts. They say tehy have done ASP and show their healers badge. As long as the urge has not become urgent and Q has not bcome q, u cannot call urself a seeker. - Enlightenment shud become a basic necessity, only then the real alchemy starts happening. RK says, "If somebody hair is burning, will they keep quiet? Oh lter on we can put it off? No, they will immediately try to quench it. They run towards the water. Only if u have such a deep feeling, these sutras are for u. Unless u reach the same consciousness of Devi, u cant imbibe these sutras. anyone who enters into this state - the no-mind of Devi, they will be able to understand these sutras - The calf goes near the cow only 1/2 hr per day but in that 1./2 hr, it will drink milk and come back. But the bee, the fly will sit 24hrs on the cow, but it will drink only blood, not the milk. - All answers will create more questions. If it has not creqtd more Q's, be very clear, u have not understood the answers! - Two types of mentality with people who have probs. First category - they have a prob. they think they know the solution, but they want your support and help to get the solution for it. The second category of people is - they have a problem, they dont know the solution, they request your help to get the solution. The fiorst people think they have buddhi but not shakthi. The second type understand that they neither have buddhi nor shakthi. The moment u think that GOd has shakthi but no buddhi, u start guiding him. When you guide, your ego is not mature enough to fully surrender. If u know the solutions fro your problems, why are u still suffering? - People come to me and tell me to put their hand on their head. I ask them what their problem is, they tell me they have a stomach problem! They tell a problem and the solution alongwith it. If they tell me they have prob.and ask for a solution, I can suggest something. But they dont want to know anything else. They give me the solution also! Just do as i say! I ask them why they came to me! - Either u have a prob., or u dont have a prob. The moment u think u have a prob, be very clear, u r totally ignorant. The prob,. is, the moment u accept that u r totally ignorant, u immediatelty become enlightened. - But u never accept that u r totally ignorant. People think I am lesser than Swamiji but definitely more than the other people here. I am not so ignorant. - there are so many people who know that they have a prob., but when i give a soln., they are not ready to take it. They come up with so many other nonsensical arguments. They want me to act according to their solutions. Then who is the Master? They are the Master. - The man who thinks that even though he is not enlightened he is something is totally ignorant. - When u dont know u dont know, u dont even know that u dont know. But when u know that u dotn know, atleast u know that u dont know. - Thinking that u know without knowing is what i call intellect. - Either u r buddha or buddhu, shiva or shava, muruga or murga, shathi or sagathi. There is no via media. Either fall here or fall there. Either place u fall, u will become enlightened. Only when u play the middle game, u r in problems. - People want customized solutions -as they want it. -they give me suggestions, preferences for the solutions. They give me the question with a small bracket - if the answer is in this way, i will be very happy. It is like an examination - they give u a question and an instruction also. The answer shud be in 25 lines, one page. If u give your questions with brackets. be very clear, u r examinign me, not asking for a solution. Be very clear - if u want the answers as u want, you will simply miss the whole thing. - Staying here is not being here. - There are only two types of seekers - Arjuna type and Devi type. Questions and doubts. - People come and tell me a problem and they dont want my intelligence to work on them, they only want support. They tell me give me your shakthi not a solution. They tell me, I am having prob with my husband, pl. make him come and staty with me!" I would have given a total solution or dissolved the problem. But they dont want to dissolve the prob. They want me to give the Energy for what they want. - They want readymade replies. They are afraid they i might directly tell them that they r the prob. - Putting the question alongwith a small bracket - This is what i want, pl. dont give anything else. This is what i call intellect. - U dont understand that your problems are much more than a question and answer session. U think that the asnwers will solve your problem. It can only be solved by experience. U think ur problems are intellectual probs. - DEvi trusts that Shiv has got shakthi and buddhi. But we think God has got shakthi but not buddhi also. When u want God to do as u want, u actually mean this. I am verbalising it for you. U continuously ask becasue u believe that he has got Shakthi, but not buddhi. U clearly show ur arrogance or ignorance by asking questions. - Ignorance can never be healed. Innocence can never be healed. Ignorance is a cunning game. U think u know the soln. u only want the person to act like u want. - as long as u think that God has only Shakthi, u can never win Life. The moment u understand that he has got buddhi also, u surrender. - When u start believing that he has got Shakthi, religion starts. When u start believing that he has got buddhi, spirituality starts. With the former, u do all the rituals and sankalpas. All your sankalpas are nothing but bribery to get his shakthi from him. All your poojas again and again shows your arrogance that God has got shakthi but no buddhi. - Tantra is not for the people who are religious, it for people who are spiritual. It is not for religious nuts, it is for spiritual fruits! - A deep surrenderfulness of Devi. Deep passive waiting w/o knowing what is going to happen is what is passive surrender - total surrender. Teh moment u decide i will wait for ever, simply things start happening. As long as u r in a hurry, u r agitated, u stop things from happening. When u are in a hurry for the lotus to blossom, u open its petals. Can it be called lotus flowering? No! Only when it blossoms on its own it can be called so. Give it some space. It will happen.The moment u decide to wait forever, things will start happening. U don't have to wait anymore. U have to wait till u decide to wait. The moment u decide to wait, u dont have to wait anymore. - Narada was going to Vaikunda. On the way he found a rishi meditating. he asked him, 'Oh Narada, pl. ask Vishnu how long i have to wait for enligntenment.' Narada said surely he will ask. A little further, he saw a man jumping and dancing under a tree. He shouted out , 'Oh Narada, pl. ask Vishnu when i will have his darshan.' Narada said alright.
