Oh! I am getting the message in Ohio this evening Kumkum appeared on Swamiji’s paadukas. Blessings! Ohio is expanding. It’s going to rock literally ☺ Blessings!

I will first start with questions.

1) Many people are asking this question – Satish from USA, Ma Gita Priya from Canada, Teressa from London. Wow! All over the world, how come people are having the same question? Then it must be some important question. Swamiji, is suffering the only way that engrams can be released and we can be polished?

(04:02)I will say no and yes. Suffering is not the only way that engrams can be released and we can be polished. Understanding, understanding can be a powerful way through which without suffering you can release the engram and polish yourself. But unfortunately, you do not understand unless you suffer. See you don’t want to understand unless you suffer. Just today morning I went to the temple before coming to the Satsang. See the Prabhavali - the arch of the Anandeshwara I am watching at least for the past one week slowly it is coming forward. Means it is giving way. At least for last one week I am seeing step by step it is coming towards the front. I don’t know how many of you observed. So I asked the Brahmacharini who is responsible for the Achala murthi. Achala murthi and Alankara. I asked what happened? why nothing is being done? Immediately she says no, no, no I told Dayananda. He said he will come and see. Till these donkeys to go and see, you think that prabhavali will be standing in it’s place? Then I thought anyhow if it falls it is going to fall on your head only. But it is such a crude thing. It is such a huge arch, I don’t know how many kg it is and these are the 2-3 people going in and out of the Garbha mandir and standing around that area. If it falls, it is naturally falls on these fellows only. And I told Anandeshwara that take care that it doesn’t fall when nobody is there! ☺ Just now I told him take care that it falls on right people whose head needs to be repaired, who said I am not able to reapair. You are attending the deity, one week it is not coming immediately. Slowly, slowly it is coming and giving you warning I am going to drop, if you are so insensitive, see the pattern of laziness has become so powerful you are insensitive to the problem, to the situation. Understand. This is only one small example I am giving. See this is such a crude in front of your eyes even then people are insensitive. Then I told her very clearly – anyhow I told Anandeshwara if it falls, it is going to fall on you guys only!

(07:28) So see just the laziness pattern. It won’t take more than five minutes to get the steel wires are there. In the temple itself enough wires are there. Even if there are no steel wires, she has enough of copper wires which she uses for the deity decoration, all you need is that two pujaris who have no other work. That 2 pujaris and she giving that copper wire - Come on you pull it and bind it strongly. There is a huge rod, supporting rod, you just bind it. That’s all. It won’t take more than 5 minutes. And I tell you now also, don’t think it will be done in today and all. Because whatever I said now, for this message to reach them it will take at least 48 hours. Only for the international this message can reach immediately. To Los Angeles it can reach immediately, to Seattle temple it can reach immediately, to Ohio temple what I am saying can reach immediately. To reach Bidadi temple it will take 48 hours! That is the great powerful intelligence with which we are working. I am telling you. Now whatever I am saying will reach Oklahoma temple immediately, Phoenix it will reach immediately, Ohio it will reach immediately, Los Angeles it will reach immediately. But for this to reach to Bidadi temple it will take 48 hours. And then after that they will have a project plan – where is the copper wire? Oh. I think they will find out one Bramhachari or Brahmacharini who ran away three months before – that fellow was in charge. He was keeping it with him. I don’t know where he left and went away. But the Prabhavali is not going to wait for who ran away, who is in charge, who is going to come and look after and all that. It is so unfortunate. See I am giving you one example because now I saw that and came by. Otherwise I can give you millions of examples if I can look into your life.

(10:23)Every moment. See the engram has a capacity to make you insensitive about its presence. Really. It does not let you understand it exists in you and goes on torturing you. Engram has a power to make you insensitive about the pattern in which you are caught. Please understand, your being is made out of four major components – your concepts about you, your concepts about the world – the nature, your concepts about the humanity - human society the relationships, your concepts about the God - all pervasive. If the engram touches other three zones other than you – if the engram touches the God concept or the world concept, humanity concept there is a possibility you can be easily brought out. You don’t need to go through suffering for it. Just understanding is enough. But unfortunately, almost all engrams tries to own part of the concept of you. All engrams you associate yourself with it – I am a south Bharatn, I am a north Bharatn, I am a American, I am a German. The engram pattern tries to own you. Only after it starts owning you, it opens up all the illegal exercise it wants you to do. When I say illegal maybe I will say based on the cosmic law. Cosmically illegal and you will always have the justification aah! What is there? He is also working as if he is a South Bharatn. When he is attached to that engram, why not me attached to engram? I am an American. Come on then he also suffer, you also suffer. The solution is not because you have a justification you are going to escape from suffering.

(13:34) Somebody a North Bharatn devotee came and said – you are South Bharatn, your whole mission is South Bharatn based. All people around you are South Bharatns. I just started smiling. I told him drop this conditioning - North Bharatn, South Bharatn it is the engram in the being level. That guy was not ready to listen. Anyhow he started justifying – what, why when you have the so much of conditioning that you are a South Bharatn and you do everything based on the South Bharatn conditioning, why I should not have North Bharatn conditioning? I thought anyhow even if I have conditioning of South Bharatn, I am ready to face any suffering which it brings and no suffering will touch me. Come on, let’s see how much of suffering you are going to face or it is going to touch or it not going to touch you. Let me see. Unfortunately, the engrams pattern is such it takes care you don’t even know it exists in you. It owns part of very you – very you. It becomes extension of youuuuuuuuu! Not just you – youuuuuuu! Just like a Hanuman’s tail this engram pattern becomes the extension of you. It so unfortunate!

(15:29) Engrams which are corrupting, polluting, catching only your concept of world, your concept of humanity, your concept of God can be removed without suffering. But the engrams which have caught your very being, your core conditioning like I belong to this religion, I belong to this country, I belong to the family, I belong to this, I am this – this conditioning. How much ever you justify this conditioning, you cannot release those engrams without suffering. That is why I am telling you in the core of your being, always be pure. Laugh at all the conditioning you carry. I am telling you even the conditioning you are a Hindu. When you are alone laugh at it – aiy! Who cares for all this non sense! There is enough of junk in Vedas also! No. I am telling you honest truth. There is enough junk there also. It is not that only in some scriptures of the world wrong things are there and other things everything is right. No. all scriptures of the world wrong things are there and in other things everything is right. No. All scriptures from all religions contains some good part, contains some parts which are not required. Vedic Tradition has enough. Let us be honest. So when you sit alone unclutch even from that conditioning. One great thing this tradition gives the science of enlightenment. So we can accept all that unnecessary junk things as a preliminary research and development. We can justify. But that does not mean it is not there. It is there. Be very clear. Justification is not non-existence. Please understand, justification is not non-existence. When you have certain engrams, just because you are able to give justification, don’t think you can come out of those engrams without suffering. Same way, the conditioning you are male or female that is the worst conditioning. That is the worst conditioning humanity suffers. If you work with your body, take bath in a huge water body where at least 100 times more than your weight water is there, see all this working heavily with your body through pranayama or yoga or taking bath in sacred water body all these things in course of time remove the conditionings you have about your body. Patanjali says very beautifully ‘sauchaha’ cleanliness leads you beyond body consciousness. See if you have engram about your body, hatred or shyness I know so many people suffer with the shyness engram about their own body, hatred towards their own body. Heavy work out like lifting heavy weights, long pranayama, Hata yoga, taking bath in sacred water bodies all this will take away. You may think how that can take away this? You do not know. You do it then you will understand. Most unfortunate thing.

(22:00) For your question Gita Priya, Satish, Teressa to all three of you I will give this as a answer – Suffering is not the only way that engrams can be released and we can be polished, understanding itself can do the job. But in practicality all of you almost 99.99999% of you do not release the engrams polish yourself by understanding unless you are burnt, unless you suffer. It is such a strange, but truth ☺ It is strange, but truth.

(23:10)I will enter into Bhagavad Gita. Today I will expand on 44th verse, 2nd chapter Sankhya Yoga of Bhagavad Gita -

"bhogaisvarya-prasaktanam tayapahrta-cetasam yavasayatmika buddhih samadhau na vidhiyate"

Translation – “Those whose minds are diverted and who are not determined are not fit for steady meditation and samadhi”

My own translation in an expanded way -

“The preserving intelligence of those who are devoted to experiencing supremacy and whose reasoning faculty is carried away by these words of the Veda does not have the profound meditation arising in it!”

(25:38) Krishna is contradicting some of the words of the Vedas. Now he needs to establish the ultimate truth the Vedanta Purusha. Because he has to establish the ultimate he is just contradicting a little bit. Let me make the whole scene clear for you. You see there is a part called Karma kanda and there is a part Jnana kanda – Veda and Vedanta. The first part is rituals, actions through which you can gain many benefits like Indra Loka, Chandra loka, Tapo loka, till Brahma loka. Till Brahma loka, you can gain access. It’s like a visa to different planes of existence. In this initial level people were enamoured even by that. But slowly there evolved the great science of completely achieving and living the cosmic consciousness. Not just the science of travelling to other plane of existence. Finally ultimately entering into the ultimate existence which is nameless, formless beyond any comprehension. Life, death, action, inaction, beyond anything, beyond your fantasies. Anything which can be bound by your fantasies, imaginations, visualizations it is impure and mortal. The science of reaching that space immortal has been revealed to human beings in a part called Vedanta Upanishads. Please understand, Karma kanda, Jnana kanda - Poorva Meemaamsa, Uttara Meemaamsa. Karma kanda means the ritual part. Poorva Meemaamsa means the previous part. Almost like old testament and new testament you can say in a way. But fortunately, in Hindu tradition both we have decided to live together. We have that enormous patience. We don’t have a problem. Even though the Uttara Meemaamsa the later part contradicts the earlier part, we don’t need to discard it. We are not against it. We say very clearly that is not enough. By action getting some pleasures that part is Karma kanda Poorva Meemaamsa. Using the actions to transform your being, realizing transformation of the being only leads you to enlightenment ultimate solution - this theory, this group, this theology, this philosophy is called Vedanta, Uttara Meemaamsa, Jnana Kanda – all these three words are used – wisdom part, enlightenment part.

(30:37) Now Bhagavan is promoting the 2nd part. Action by its existence itself does not lead you to the ultimate solution. Actions which are penetrating your being and transforming them are only leading you to the ultimate solution - enlightenment.

“The preserving intelligence of those who are devoted to experiencing supremacy and whose reasoning faculty is carried away by these ordinary words which Bhagavan mentioned in previous sutras – persevering, the persevering intelligence of those who are devoted to experiencing supremacy and whose reasoning faculty is carried away by these words which Bhagavan has mentioned in the earlier sutras, where they say only the if you do this action you go to this heaven – this pleasure, that will not help you to have a profound meditation”

“samadhau na vidhiyate" - It cannot help you achieve samadhi. Unfortunately, still samadhi word has no equivalent English word. Anyhow I will try to contribute this word – At-one-ment! I will translate atonement as samadhi. Just like attuning. I will say atoneing. At-one-ing, at-one-ment! Sama-adhi means becoming one with the source. Becoming one with that! For example, if I am in samadhi with this plant, I become one with this plant. If I am in samadhi with this peeta - seat, I am one with this seat. If you are in samadhi with the cosmos, you are one with the cosmos. Sama-adhi means at one with the source. So maybe I will try to use the word atonement – atoneing for samadhi like attuning. Because there is no other word to translate the word samadhi in English.

(34:23) The sacred secret in this verse is if you are too much diverted by the actions, thinking actions alone can cause ultimate solution you are wrong. I am not saying, Bhagavan is not saying move out of action. Understand actions need to work on your being to transform it. Dropping action is not solution. But doing actions or doing actions constantly to make your being. Understand to make your being expand or explode. Only a person whose mind is not diverted just by ordinary pleasures - even the Indra loka, Chandra loka, Maya loka, all are ordinary pleasures only. I tell you from my experience I have seen all that lokas. All dumb fellows – Indra, Chandra - all these fellows dull fellows. No if you see the mistakes they make it is much worse than the Bharatn politicians mistake. So don’t think they are some way big. Let your mind not be diverted by all that. let you have the perseverance, persevering intelligence so that the samadhi, the ultimate solution – “vasayatmika buddhi” - the fixed determination make you have the ultimate solution – samadhi.

(37:18) Let’s see what Bhagavan has to say in the next verse. 45th verse in the 2nd chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, Sankhya Yoga -

“trai-gunya-visaya veda nistraigunyo bhavarjuna nirdvandvo nitya-sattva-stho niryoga-ksema atmavan”

45th sloka in the 2nd chapter Sankhya Yoga in the Bhagavad Gita -

Translation – Oh Arjuna! Be you above the three attributes that the vedas deal with, free yourself from the pair of opposites and be always in Satva free from all that thoughts of acquisition or preservation and be established in the self!

My own new translation -

“The sacred knowledge is the range of the three qualities namely satva – equanimity, rajas – restlessness, tamas – inertness. Oh Arjuna! May you go beyond these three qualities. Be free from doubts, constantly dwelling in reality, be composed within free from dependence and security!”

Bhagavan is giving too many sacred secrets in this one verse. There is a beautiful Apastamba Dharma Sutra –

“atma labhaan naha paraam vithya de” - “There is nothing higher than the possession of self.”

(40:49) Understand what they mean by the word nothing higher than the possession of self. Having the clarity, having the understanding of the self and experiencing it constantly in your life, taking all the decisions, all your cognizance based on the self.

“trai-gunya-visaya veda nistraigunyo bhavarjuna nirdvandvo nitya-sattva-stho niryoga-ksema atmavan”

(42:32)Bhagavan is introducing three gunas - traigunya in the vedas, in the knowledge there are three gunas. Some are inertness, tamasic. Some are restless rajasic, some are satvic equanimity. He is saying just because Vedas don’t take it because in our Vedas even the agriculture is taught. Why agriculture, black magic is taught. Atharvana Veda speaks about all types of black magic! That does not mean when I say practice Vedas, I tell you all to sit with black magic. No. that is a tamasic part inertness. There is a rajasic part restlessness. There is a satvic part enquanimity. I can say the tamasic part is the part which teaches you this black magic, or killing others, hurting others. That is tamasic part. Rajasic part is going to this heaven, that heaven Chandra loka, indra loka, maya loka, bhoorbhuvatsuva, different lokas. Svarga loka. Don’t think if you go to those lokas, all your problems will be solved. You will be happy. No. Ask how many fellows this NRI fellows ran away from Bharat to USA thinking it is a Indra loka! And how m any of these fellows especially in Tamil Nadu and Kerala they run away to Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Middle east thinking it is a Indra loka, Chandra loka. When you see in the cinema what you see is Indra loka, Chandra loka. But when you go there, you are not going to be accommodated in the same buildings you saw in the cinema. Come on, whenever they show New York in cinema or Dubai in cinema, Saudi Arabia in cinema, naturally they are going to show the downtown huge buildings, clean, neat and the hero and heroine jumping, running around the trees and lamp posts having a posh apartment. I am not saying those portions are not there in those countries. It is there. But when you go there, don’t think you are directly going to be accommodated there. Same way, all the ideas you hear about the Indra loka, Chandra loka oh the milk and the honey will flow like the river, huge palace. All of them are the marketing department. And all the Rambha, Menaka and Urvasi are all dancing all the time. I am not saying all these are not there in the Indra loka and Chandra loka. They are there. But don’t think the moment you go there and going to be immediately accommodated and all the Rambha, Menaka and Urvasi are going to come and jump in front of you. They are too busy. There also they are going to ask your qualification aiy what is your qualification. Who are you? Again you are going to drag the same bullock cart there also. Maybe here you will drag the bullock cart with a cow dung. There you will drag with the gold bar. That’s all! Gold bar will be heavy ☺

(47:01) As long as the dvandva - duality is there, structuring department is going to be there. Be very clear. As long as the dvandva is there, organizational structure is going to be there. There is going to be high and low, there is going to be capitalism. There is only one space in the universe where this is no capitalism that is enlightenment. That is why I am telling you quickly get there. Quickly get there till then there is going to be capitalism. The knowledge about this ritual that heaven, that ritual this heaven is rajasic- restless. The knowledge about enlightenment is satvic - equanimity. Bhagavan is saying please go beyond all the three qualities through satva. Even equanimity is not the space to stay. It is a path to jump. It’s a jumping board. Even Satya loka, Tapo loka that is a space of satva, equanimity – even that is not a place to live. That is a place through which you can take off to enlightenment. So Bhagavan is saying “nirdvandvo nitya-sattva-stho ” – going beyond all the duality - established in Nithya satva. Please understand, Nithya satva means beyond satva.

(49:28)Rama Krishna gives a very beautiful example of these 3 gunas. He says one man, rich man was going through the forest with his treasury in hand lot of gold and diamond. Suddenly three thieves have attacked him. One thief said come on let us kill him and take away all the money. The other thief said – no, no, no. It’s okay. We will tie him in the tree and take away all the money. Anyhow, they tied him in the tree and took away all the wealth, went away. 3rd guy after few minutes came back slowly freed him removed all the bondage and told him go in this way straight and left you will reach the main road. From there you can go to the city and he showed the way. Immediately that rich man business man he asked thank you, you saved me and you now freed me from the bondage and you showed me the way also. Why don’t you come with me to my house. I will give you food. He said - no, no, no I might have helped you, but I am also thief only. First thief who want to kill this fellow and take away the wealth is tamas -inertness, 2nd thief who wants to bind this fellow and take away the wealth is rajas – restlessness, 3rd thief who release this fellow and shows the way to reach the home is satva – equanimity. But 3rd guy is also a thief. He also can’t come to the city and live because he lives based on these two fellows income. He stays with the other two guys and their income only is his income also. Understand, so traigunya – three gunas. Vedas can be divided with the three qualities. Bhagavan says go beyond all the three by using Satva, by establishing yourself in equanimity, equanimity eternally - “nitya-sattva-stho niryoga-ksema atmavan”

(52:50)Free from acquisition or preservation, dependence and security. Otherwise your whole life goes away in acquiring and preserving. One of the worst foolish engram humanity is got caught is the engram of acquiring and preserving. See it is like a there are hundred ants, they just go round and collect, collect, collect keep some sugar, suddenly they die! What is the use of now the main bags of sugar or the heaps of sugar they collected and put in their bank. Here is a huge bag of sugar, gunny bag of sugar. All these ants go and pick up one by one and they bring it to their house, their bank balance. They may be having locker also and put all of them, lock it. In this very process itself the poor fellow dies. Some of them may not have eaten enough – no, no, no. I have to preserve for rainy days. By not eating and preserving for rainy days finally this fellow himself may not be there for a rainy day. ☺ By the time it rains, he has gone! One of the worst habit humanity is suffering, got caught is with acquiring and preserving. Anyhow, this throbhava, throbhava means the covering of all the knowledge of people – means after death all the memory is lost is mainly used to relieve people from this habit of acquiring and preserving. See for example if you have the memory last time where you took birth and where were you, it’s a big trouble! You will go back and ask for your bank balance and you will start acquiring more and more and preserving so that when you come back you can take it up. It would have become a such a big mess.

(55:50) People asked me once Swamiji God creates I understand, he preserves, protects I understand, he destroys so that new beings can come, I understand. Why is he putting us in Maya? Why is he making us forget? Understand if you are not forgetting, what will happen? Dangerous. If you are not forgetting, it is dangerous! Because you forget about your last janma in this janma, about this janma in the next janma, you accumulate and preserve less. Otherwise this 4-5 terrorist fellows would have caught the whole world, acquired the whole world and would have preserved it in their name. Only they will come back, come back, come back and sit on it. now at least because of the forgetting, after death the wealth is going to different hands, it is moving around, it is circulating, it is currency. Otherwise you can’t understand.

(57:17) “niryoga-ksema atmavan” - Even while you acquire and preserve, be liberated with this one truth. Acquiring and preserving is the most foolish act humanity is doing. Acquire and preserve it in your bank balance and be very clear one day suddenly you will die like that ant. Just see there is a huge gunny bag of rice or sugar, eternal supply. All these ants having their own small small house and collecting, collecting , collecting and keeping all in their house. They may even do trading among themselves – you give two piece sugar, I will give two piece rice. Your whole wall street is nothing but this two piece sugar and two piece rice! Suddenly some rain or shine all the ants disappear, die. Over! Or you just walk on it, all of them disappear and die. Their bank collapses, their wall street collapses! They may be visualizing that some of you walking with the shoes on their city and creating big big movies. How we create movies the dinosaur movies – what do you call? - Jurassic park. They also may visualize the human beings with big shoes may just crush our whole city! How their whole game is insignificant for you, understand, same way only your whole game is insignificant for your higher self. But one thing, ants themselves cannot look higher than what they are doing. But human beings have a capacity to look higher than what they are doing. Ants themselves can’t realize this – their whole wall street game is a foolish game. But human beings are hard wired to realize your whole wall street game is a foolish game. That is the one specialty human beings have. That is why I am saying while you are having human body don’t miss this knowledge. Knowing acquisition and preservation.

(1:00:29)) Acquiring and preserving is ultimate foolishness! I wanted all our disciples to work on this. Enter this sacred secret in your book of heart. Acquiring and preserving how it is foolish – Analyze, analyze, think, think. See how the society is trying to make acquiring and preserving as meaningful by not giving the medical care to all. See why, why do you think medical care is not given to all the Western way of living? You are made to understand – aiy! Now itself acquire and preserve so that in the old age when you are sick, you will be given the medical care. Depriving the basic necessities is the way humanity was exploited to believe the acquiring and preserving is an important habit. That is why I tell you the visionaries of the Western civilization are conspirators not visionaries. The visionaries who created the concept of acquiring and preserving as a sacred, as an important act, as a necessity for the human beings by depriving many of the basic needs to human beings are the conspirators of humanity. Not visionaries of humanity!

(1:02:32) In Bharatn medicinal system, whether you are sick or not, the village doctor is always paid. He gets his share the moment the harvesting is done. If you are sick, your harvesting will be less, he will get paid less. So he will ensure the whole village is healthy by the right preventive methods, diet, life style and giving the right medicine which will not give side effect in the beginning of the disease itself. I feel at least the future, Bharat should return to its original glory and all the basic needs should not be used as a black mailing point for human beings to believe acquiring and preserving is a big thing in life. It should be done as a joyful, creative expansion. Not as a basic black mailing threat. I do not know whether I will be able to make it or see this as a reality or not. But I will dare to dream! I will dare to dream at one day society will have a system where acquiring and preserving is not forced upon you and you are not blackmailed to believe that is the basic important thing necessary for life. It is one of the great illusion. If it is done as a expression of joy and creativity I am not against it. But when it is done with a blackmailing, unless you do it, you will not have food, you will not have shelter, you will not have medical care, you will not have support, you will not have medical care in the old age - these are all blackmailing. I tell you capitalism should not become blackmailing. We will come up with non-blackmailing capitalism. I dare to dream that non blackmailing capitalism as a future Bharat, future Bhaarath!

(1:06:01) Sit with this one sacred secret. All acquiring and preserving is based on your insecurity and dependence. Understand it is a collective foolishness with which you are suffering. These are all collective mental epidemics with which humanity is suffering. Even if you are acquiring and preserving, be out of this mental epidemic by awareness and unclutching. Sit straight. Contemplate on this one truth - acquiring and preserving is one of the most foolish thing - collective unconscious epidemic, collective mental disorder. Even if you are forced to acquire in your life because of society, let you be at least consciously beunclutched from it!
