Today I will star with Bhagavad Gita, 2nd chapter, 43rd verse –

“kamatmanah svarga-para janma-karma-phala-pradam kriya-visesa-bahulam bhogaisvarya-gatim prati |”

42nd and 43rd these two verses I have translated together. I started speaking. I completed only 42nd. Did not complete 43rd. ..

In 42nd verse Bhagavan is breaking the myth which was prevelant those days. Those days the m yth that nothing more than heaven, nothing more than the results of the actions like homa, yaga, yagna was there. I tell you even now more than 99% of you how much you believe in action, that much you don’t believe in being. Please understand life is action \+ being. What you are, your thought pattern about you, world, humanity and God all these 4 put together only I call as being. Your thought pattern about you, your thought pattern about the world, humanity society, God ….

Put together only I call you. Life is your actions \+ you. It is so unfortunate for almost always from the time immemorial how much a human being believes for all his joy, pain everything – his actions are responsible, that much human beings don’t believe he is responsible. Being. He is responsible. It is so unfortunate. Without understanding things completely, we go on suffering. Sometimes it is really frustrating poor fellows they can find solutions. But the problem is being. As long as you think in action you can find solution, you will be the believer of heaven….

Or you will do some yaga, yagna, bribe Gods and get into their loka. But as long as you believe in action the solution exists you are only half. This should be a subject for our Gurukul. Kids should learn always the good or bad you go through, the life you go through …

The thought patterns, concepts you carry about you, world, humanity and God. All these put together only I call as you. There is lot of alterations, adjustments, corrections, additions, deletion, transformation required in being. But it is so unfortunate you go on believing the ultimate solution can be achieved just by working on actions which is not true. Actions are not true. See actions are not even real because the moment the basic logic on which you build your actions if that is shaken, immd even your actions not only loses its effe3ct or side effect it loses even the very basis of existence. Sometimes it is so sad people suffer with such a simple problems but they try to find a huge solutions. Till the end it does not work. I still remember when I was staying in the banks of Kaveri, Ayya secretary he was also with us. Suddenly one local devotee he came to me and said Swamiji I have fear of water. I went to an astrologer, he said go to that…

Worst example I have seen in my life trying to remove certain engram and getting caught in that engram…

We just dumped him on the boat, 2-3 of us literally held him and the boat wala rowed the boat we brought him side and put him on the bank….

The speed with which he ran. Never again, at least for next 3 months he came back to the Ashram…

He has to come by a local bus, local bus which crosses the river once by bridge…

He can come without crossing the bridge also then you should have 2 wheeler….

The public transport system will come only on a small bridge crossing the river..

Look into your life. How many thousands of time you do the same mistake thinking that action can find solution. Action which are like a surgery which can bring transfor4mation on your being can bring solution….

Action can bring solution only if it can transform your basic belief and your basic being. Belief about your being you carry that plays a major role in bringing any solution for your life. That is why Bhagavan says action alone cannot solve the problem, action alone cannot be the solution. Now let us move to the next verse. Let’s see what Bhagavan is expressing in Bhagavad Gita, 2nd chapter, Sankhya Yoga, 44th verse –

Those whose minds are diverted and who are not determined are not fit for study, meditation and Samadhi. The preserving intelligence of those who are devoted….

Understand the persevering intelligence of those…

Understand the sacred secret in this verse is if you are stuck with the idea actions can bring solution, you may reach heaven but not Samadhi ultimate enlightenment. Ultimately what we need to achieve cannot be achieved. Here Bhagavan is saying how action alone, action based theology alone cannot give solutions. It is actions which is transforming your being only can give you solution. I will expand…

One sacred secret – action alone cannot lead you to the ultimate solution. Action transforming your being, your faith idea about yourself, world, humanity and God all these 4 put together I call as being. Action…

Action alone without working on the being cannot lead you to the ultimate truth. Mediate on this truth. Sit with this one truth.
