Let me enter into today’s sutras in BS, 1st chapter, 1st part, 25th sutra

Chando Abhidanaath na iti cheth na tatha chetho arpana nigatha tatha iti Darshanam

G – if it be objected that brahman is not spoken of…for similar instances are found else where

V – if it be said that Brahman is not refereed on acct of the meter Gayatrhi being mentioned, we reply no becos in that way in example by the means of the meter the application of the mind as ….it is seen in other texts

S – if it be said Brahman is nto denoted on account …..application of the mind on Brahman is declared because thus it is seen in other texts.

Let us enter into the sutra. Here starts the argument. Pl und BS is not written for reconciliaition. It is written for establishing…

In the world there are 2 kinds of religious thought trends one – kind of aiy everything is one and the same, it is okay, where some of the philosophers were afraid if we go to the depth maybe more violence m more fanaticism, more anger will be created among the people, so they try to kind of a patch up this so called secularism, universalism all of them are result of people who try to patch up – everything is one and the same, it is okay, you dotn need to be bothered too much oabout it. Yesu, allah, shiva, krishna, rama, Buddha all are one and the same universalistic thoughts where it is more or less like atrying to bring peace. But the problem with this philosophy in the name of trying to bring peace, they dull the research or practice of each tradition. Pleas und, that is a huge problem. One side the ppl who go in depth become fantics, the other side ppl who try to bridge everybody become lunatics means superficial. Ppl who try to bridge everybody universalism..see all these so called jil jil gurus ☺ there is no depth, they go on claiming everything is one and the same – 2! But one important thing all these universalistic philosophers have missed, VT is one and only tradition even if you go to the depth, you will not become violent, you will not become fanatic, becos even in the core in the depth it is all about research! It is not about spreading. Pl understand, all the religions which created, which were happened outside Bharat, had some components, some ideas if it is practiced to its letter and spirit can lead to violence and fanaticism. So this idea of universalism and secularism happened in the west as a protection from this fanatics. See in the West one intellectual educated group evolved who are not able to tolerate the torture created by these fanatics. They want peace, they want rest. So they invented this theory of universalim amd secularism. Und – 2. In Bharat, even ppl who go to the indepth and practice every scripture to the word and letter and spirit do not become violent, fanatic, terrorist…that is why I am sahying VT does not need secularism. VT does not need this concept of everything is one and the same. I tell you God, Allah, Buddha, Yesu, Shiva are all diff. it is not one and the same. Krishna does not tell kill all the fellows who does not believe in me. he does not say I am the last prophet. He does not say I am the only begotten son. No. I tell you they are all not one and the same. This idea of one and the same is created just to avoid the in depth study. Whole RK is suffering with this one non sensical idea of universalism. What do they mean by saying everything is one and the same. Then why cant they all get converted? BS are not written. It is not created for pseudo universalism or pseudo secularism. It is created for R\&D it is a pure scienmce. It is a honest science. Pure science is something which you need to explore without bothering about the effect and side effects of the invention. You just go behind it. you just don’t bother whether the side and after …effects of yoru discovery are going to do good to you or bad to you. it is a research. What comes we will see after it comes. This pseudo secularism, pseudo universalism is the root cause of all religious terrorism, religious wars in the planet earth. the real world peace can happen only by honest R & D. In vt the honest R\&D was carried. In VT the religious conversions never happened by soul, it happened by word! Und it always happened by logtical arguments. Shankara comes just hardly 30 hyear old boy, not known to anybody with 2,3 other boys, on is a deaf and dumb in that 2-3, he comes and meet Mandana Mishra who is sitting with 10k disciples. Und Shankara goes to village where MM is living, it is not a village it is a small town. He asks a ….

That lady says go this same way there will be a huge well where even the maid servants will be talking in Sanskrit about philosophy..that is the street where MM lives go. This guy goes and there he sees the village maid servants women who are fetching water from the well, they are talking big big…one lady when she was fetching the water asks the other lady – is the water assumes the form of the pot or the pot assumes the form of water becos of water? The KM is going on. One person says how can you say the pot’s shape is more eternal even when that has a possibility for breaking, what is the logic to say pot is permanent and water is assuming the shape? Becos when the pot breaks it loses its shape, but water does not lose its shape. The other lady is saying…..so the KM is going on! Now Shankara knows yes wow, this is where the MM lives. He goes to the women asks can you tell where MM lives, can you show me hi shouse. They say oh it is very easy…in one street the partots will be sitting and talking the philosophy and they will having the KM …he goes there outside the house 2 parrots are sitting and having KM on BS. Is the Uttarameemasa the ultimate…is karma kanda ultimate or jnana kanda the ultimate, is doing leads to ultimate, or being leads to ultimate…maybe….becos the cosmos itself is a being, how can doing lead to being. Shankara finds wow this is the house MM lives! ☺

Understand with 10 k disciples MM is living practically owns the city but he is completely open for the argument from a 30 year old sanyasi…not only he was ready, he was open and he says if you convince me I will follow you, if I convince you you follow me! and the greatness of Shankara. See one side the greatness of MM who accepts the argument, ready open for the dialogue. He does not bother about all his vested interest. He could have said…no, come on I am interested. I am interested to know whether you can lead me one step further. See the openness. The friendliness with which the greatest conversions were happened. intelligent conversions. Not the conversion s happened for bread and butter. One pastor was converting ppl in MP when I was doing my yatra. Very foolish, immature, very 3rd rate way of converting ppl. How you know this fellow had one Rama statue made in metal and Jesus statue made in wood. And he gets a bucket of water. Both statues he paints in same color. He calls ppl and says see I am putting your God and my God in water. He puts Rama and Rama drowns. He puts Jesus and Jesus floats. …I was wandering that time. I was doing my Parikrama Narmada Parikrama. So I heard this story, I went to see him. from a distance he say I am also an undeducated Sadhu..in my broken Hindi I told him see only in your contry you do Jala pariksha, in our country we always do only Agni pariksha. In Bharatn tradition we do Agni pariksha. Why don’t we do that. that’s all. That fellow ..ran away. Never came to that village again..cheap conversions. Converting ignorant ppl, innocent ppl, telling lies, showing bread and butter ugly way. Killing with compassion. This is one side. The other side by the brutal sword – threat, terrorism. See in the HT, the greatest conversion happens in such a simple open way. First the greatness of MM. he accepts the challenge. The greatness of Shankara he puts MM’s wife as judge. You pl be judge. See if MM loses, mm is going to follow the Shankara as sanyas disciple. So Sharada, Sharada is her name, she is going to lose her husband, her status as a Guru mata. She is a Guru mata for 10k disciples! Ubhaya Bharathi she is called Sharada and Ubhaya Bharathi. Knowing this Shankara says please you be the judge. She sits in the judge post and the great thing is she gives perfect judgement. She says very clearly…make two garlands…whose garland becomes hot in the argument because of anger he loses. MM loses! Shankara wins. She declares the victory of Shankara. Then after that she challenges. …NOW SHE says as a wife, I am contesting, I am appealing. He is only half, I am the other half, win me also. only when you win me in the argument you have won the game. Come on. Lets have the debated. Only then she puts a very technical question and some strong questions about the physical relationship. Shankara is caught. He is a sanyasi.

..goes to Kasi Raja’s body lives the regular life for few days, answers and conquers Ubhaya Bharathi, conquers Sharada. Then the story goes just mm loses himself in the grace of Shankara and Ubhaya Bharathi just loses her whole being in the grace of Shankara. Not just forced, just deeply convinced. They are not converted disciples, they are transformed disciples. As transformed disciples both of them follow. Ubhaya Bharathi was the only woman in Shankara’s crew…story says she became almost like a mother to Shankara. Shankara cherished a beautiful vatsalya rela of son and mother. Finally in Sringeri when she leaves the body, Shankara misses her too much. He really feels somebody close to his heart has left the body and he creates the first peeta on her samadhi. Sringeri Sharad peeta…

See the whole thing. even the fight happens without violence and anger. But the Western mind can never understand you can be strong in yoru system and at the same time be nonviolent. That is why they cant understand a great book like BS which is not trying to bridge..

The solution is going to be the very core concept has to be accepting many Gods or all Gods. IT IS NOT that first you will teach ppl ours is the only truth, later on you will say no let us acdept everybody…acceptance of many Gods or all Gods. See a Hindu’s pooja room you will see all Gods. Ac tually in Bharat you will see …we don’t have a problem. All our Gods can happily live together in one room! So the very understanding has to be changed. Pl und it is a very sensitive point. You need to understand with lot of awareness and patience. The disease which got created in the west needed the medicine of pseudo …becos of the disease religious fanaticism you need the medicine called..

But we don’t have the disease. Why are you idiots forcing the medicine on us? …we are having side effects of that medicine! The side effects of that medicine is pseudo mentality. Not going deep in anything. In everything being superficial. The being superficial is the side effect of this …BS is not created to bridge or to spread pseudo universalism or pseudo secularism. It is created to establish a strong truth in un compromising way pure science.

So the argument goes on here in a very subtel level. how can we say light is B rahman, prana is brahman, space is brahman…becos sometime even the Gayathri is used in thes same way as the prana, space and jyothi words are used. Gayathri is a meter…

For that vyasa is answering no even Gayathri is used here not as a meter but as method to tune with the Brahman.

Sarvam kalagitam Brahma

All this is indeed is Brahman!

See with all this references the Bhasyakaaraas are trying to prove in all these references Gayathri is referred equal to Brahma…so becos this is also referred as Brahman, the space, prana and the jyothi all 3 are referred as Brahman only. That is what vyasa means here. He says, your argument that Gayathri is also mentioned ast some points, how can Gayatrhi be Brahman. Gayatrhi is also mentioned the same way as prana, space and light…Vyasa’s argument is true.

So today I wanted all of you to do the KM, VP saying one side is Universalim necessary for Hinduism?if it is necessary, why? If it is not necessary why? Can Hinduism manage without the concepts of modern day universalism? Is universalism necessary to save our face or universalism is any way adding to our philosophical depth, or universalism is not necessary for VT. See the KM should go on the subject universalism, secularism, VT. ..

Religious fanaticism, universalism, VT, secularism because I have opened many doors, many thought currents, many thought trends. If you dive deep and start penetrating into each concept universalism, fanaticism, pseudo universalism, secularism, pseudo secularism, Hinduism does it need, doesit not need, what way wnhy the universalism is created. Discuss. Come up with all your KM, all yro theories. Becos sometime the words may look having diff meaning, based on yoru diff mental setup. Somet ime…based on the way you look.

Small story –

One good looking lady comes near a man who is standing in a bus stand and she shouts from a distance hi how are you? when she comes near this guy gives a look who are you I don’t know you. when she realizes that look she backs off and says sorry from the distance I mistook you were father of one of my children and she got into the school bus and moves. This fellow thinks oh God, wehre is humanity heading. A pretty woman comes near and asks I thought you are father of one of my children. This woman…anyhow after few minutes he got into his bus holding his head in his hands never realizing that she was his son’s teacher. Understand what she meant is totally diff. now look at the sentence again. With this context look at the sentence she said I thought you are father of one my children means school children…

Same way the universalism also is misunderstood in many places…what kind of idea you are filled with that kind of meaning only you make. And ppl are not honest in their research. Pl und ppl use the word which sells socially. The other day I was reading one huge so called spir organ website which claim they are non religious organ but they do all hindu rituals….diff names of diff kriyas and even go for trade mark, service marks…then from where all these things came? You will use your father’s wealth but you will not say he is your thater. Ppl are honest in their research. They use the words which sells in the market. That’s it.

One more story.

A matured lover goes to a jeweler and asks him to make a beautiful diamond pendant. When the jeweler delivers the …don’t you want to engrave your beloved’s name in this jewel. He says no, pl engrave it to my one and only love so that some day she breaks it and throws it at me I can use it again!

Ppl use the word which sells that’s all. There is no honesty in their investigation. All investigation are dond to come to conclusion which they already arrived

A dog from PM’s house is missing. Immd PM calls CBI, delhi police and corrupt CID officials from Karnataka. Not the whole Karnataka CID just few officials. So all 3 of them appear. So PM orders get me my dog back. All 3 run for investigation, now it is prestige problem media issue. After one month delhi police comes back and says the dog is not in the Delhi they are not able to find it. CBI comes back with 50 k charge sheet, ….finally they say the dog is at least not in Bharat. And the 3rd the few corrupt CID officidals from Karnataka they come with something and PM was shocked. When he looks up he sees a badly tortured leopard was saying I am the dog, I am the dog! ☺

So all investigations are done to come to the conclusions you already came! Understand honesty demands Tapas – enquiry, Jignyashutva, mumukshutva but if you know how to play with words, you can live in luxury. It does not need Tapas. You don’t need to do anything painful you can go on ooh everything is love, everything is okay, all are one and the same! ☺ you can always be in the lime light. When Shankara goes from place to place, he has to argue, inspire, convince people and some time even driven out face lot of challenges in every place. See when he travels, few states he converted to Hinduism but few states he was driven and beaten out. But later on when the gfollowers go they don’t face much trouble. Path finders are always path breakers. Ppl ask me what is this Swamiji? …path finders are path breakers. Shankara has to struggle but Shankarites n..

Followers need not struggle but trend setters always have to struggle.

One guy enters a prison and sees an old man…there was a time I was living like a rile I had money cars, houses, women every thing like rile. This guy asks then what happened. how did you land here. One day the rile reported his credit cards are missing! Und if you are lving with some body else’s credit cards very easy to live. You will not have any diff. but ppl who are createing, setting a trend…it is like path finders are path breakers!

So today’s subject for KM is honest investigation. Don’t try to catch a leopard and beat him to confess that he is a dog. No. honest investigation is universalism necessary for Hinduism. What we are following is it real universalism? What is the place where secularism ….what for the secularism and universalism came to exist in planet earth. are they useful in any way for the traditions like Vt.
