1) Swamiji, can you please talk about new gen?

How I want new generation to be. Rather I am going to say what kind of new generation I want to create because I don’t stop with what I want to be, I just create it. I never stop with the idea I want that, I want this and expect somebody else to take up that responsibility. No. I create. See one of the worst things the media is angry with me is that when they abuse a politician, they will make the politician lose power. Like how TV9 abused Yeddiyurrappa and pushed him off the post. But you know the court has quashed the whole thing. the whole thing is just a bogus. Finally what happened? he lost the power still he is not able to get back to power. Same way when they are angry with celebrity a cinema star, actor. They will tear him into pieces and he will lose all his image, opportunity, his commitments everything will go away. He will not have any film further. like what they did with Vadivelu he is not able to show his face anywhere. But the problem is when you do something to a Swami especially Nithyananda you cannot do anything. he is there wearing diff color dress, sitting in gold throne, wearing different different jewelry. I am only not able to wear different hair styles ☺ see at least if they are able to depress me they would have thought we have won! But I am standing like a rock for they are not able to substantiate their productivity. See if they have to do a ½ hour abusive show on me, they have to do at least 2 days work. Two fellows…..

But no productivity! This fellow is sitting in his golden throne. Earlier he was sitting with only people in front of him, now people all over the world are sitting in front of him. he comes out with innovative ideas. Neither he lost wealth around him nor he lost disciples around him. that is the way they can understand. Of course my enlightenment can never be lost, they don’t understand at all. They are not able to understand that I am not even in depression. That is why they feel oh god! All time is lost. And all channels give only prime time because Nithyananda sells. TV9 has done a very dirty show few days before. That fellow is a dirty fellow media mafia all over the state he has image that he is a black mailing mafia journalism. How Karunanidhi set rowdism as a politics trend, TV9 has set blackmailing journalism as media trend. Anyhow, but all their shows are utter waste! I went to court yesterday the city civil court in the high court complex. I went to file a first defamation law suit on Kumudam reporter. Kumudam cannot be forgiven because other magazines can be forgiven they are virodhis. Kumudam fellow is a droha. The owner’s son was a BC on this campus. They don’t understand. No gratitude. Owner’s first wife son is Brahmachari in this campus. Means I know this whole story. If I open my mouth, where they keep their money everything will come out. They have grown so much because of us. Drohi fellows. That is why I filed the first defamation suit on Kumudam group. When I went to the court I saw all the lawyers, all the people in the court bowing down, respecting. I could not understand oh God! Still I am a hero! Actually we expected some comment or somebody mobbing or grouping around and all that. nothing. It was so respectful. People are shouting from all sides and corners and people are shouting Swamiji Namaste! I felt as if I am walking in Raja Sabha. Even on the road people only bow down. They don’t even wave, they just bow down! Media understood they are utter failure. They have failed for the first time! They don’t know how to digest their failure, their anger, their vengeance. With a celebrity, politician because they behave only with the people who have something based on their social identity. First time they are dealing with a man who does not care about his social identity. Of course I care for my disciples suffering. Many of my devotees suffering. For that I really felt. But never for myself. Tomorrow I am filing writ petition in the supreme court along with Sahara Airlines. They had to go because of the media. They won the case itself but because of media abusal they had to go bankrupt. They filed a case on media who are responsible for their bankruptcy and requested all people to join. I am joining it. I am asking only three things – either ask them to publish before the case go to court. Because tv9 is saying somebody got pregnant and went for abortion. Even charge sheet does not contain any of this. I am saying take my blood sample. They have taken and said that I have the serum level of a 6 year old and not capable of making somebody pregnant. Doctors are saying this body cannot make anybody pregnant. But when will this report go to court? By the time it goes to court these fellows will abuse, abuse and destroy faith of all people who are interested in spirituality. Just like how you guys are useless in meditation, I am useless in outer world. but by the time this record goes to court, these fellows have abused so much for no reason. And they also influence the public opinion and judiciary.

I am asking either stop publishing. If you say it is media evidence, then allow me also to publish all evidence I have against that false victim. Don’t say subjudized. If I share, then they will say that character is revealed and it needs to be protected. Then I should also be protected. Either stop publishing or give me also the freedom to publish. Or I am asking let CBI investigate me. I am ready. First time the accused is going and telling let higher authority handle me. Media is not able to handle the utter failure. When I come back from Hyderabad I will conduct a press meet. I want the media to see all the stones I am collecting. They should know I am building a fort. Of course it is for deity. When it is for God it is a temple. They should know. The only reason is what I am to me, what I am to people who live around me, what I am supposed to be for the universe, what I am supposed to be doing with human society, finally where I fit with this whole. That is why nobody is able to shake one inch. How much ever they are successful. I am there. Alive! I wanted New gen to be exactly like this. I want new gen to be completely stable and established about their identity with themselves experientially. About their identity with the people with whom you are living. About your identity with the human society and the universe. New generation should be very clear about themselves what they want to do, what they are feeling like doing. Problem is many time what they are felling like doing they know, but what to do and how to do they don’t know. What you want to do, how you are going to do and what you are going to do the whole thing should be aligned. New generation should be very responsible about what they are creating around themselves. Not just constantly fighting with others or fighting with themselves. Not just constantly cribbing about the world. see modern youth means constantly complaining, deeply dissatisfied. Feeling miserable, unfortunate about the whole world. that is what is become to modern day youth. See the common picture of modern day youth – depressed, drug, dying! Youth was never in this mess earlier on planet earth. because all the mechanisms which gives little bit of training for the youth from young age is completely broken. One unfortunate thing is you guys stand as policy orphans, identity orphans, cultural orphans. One fortunate thing is because of this you can become enlightened. One unfortunate thing all the training mechanisms have broken you become policy orphans, cultural orphans, identity orphans. You stand in front of huge temples which you do not even know why it is standing, what it means, what it offers to society. The other day one youngster came to me and was telling some problem. I asked him you are from where. He said in Madhurai the temple South tower side. I asked him where you are. He gave a internet café’s name and said next to that house. I could not understand, I asked are you saying you are on the street where a huge board is there on the tower called South tower. He has never seen that board. But he has seen the internet café and knows about that. he has seen the small internet café board but he never looked up and saw the huge board. I felt oh God! does this fellow know that the whole Paandya Kingdom built that temple over 500 years. If a whole kingdom took 500 years, then the whole kingdom was so devoted to it.

This is exactly what I am talking about! He has never seen this board and he is living there for at least last 5 years. The new gen has become identity less, cultural orphans. One side it is unfortunate you become cultural orphans other side it is fortunate you can easily be led to enlightenment, you can move to enlightenment. Basically eNliving is new gen living. Enlightened living is new gen living. All over the country I want Akhaadas to happen – means the place where people practice the techniques for yogic body and vedic mind. Understanding the relationship issues, not just relationship with people. Relationship with the whole. New gen is my only hope! Next generation should be new generation or it is going to be degeneration! Understand if next generation is not new generation, humanity is not going to have any more generations because we have reached the possibility of peak of destruction. If one mad person becomes the head of one atomic country that is enough. Humanity will disappear! Planet earth won’t be there. Ball is missing from the court! If you want to keep this beautiful planet for the next generation, next generation has to become new generation. We have to become Yogis – Naada Yogis. Naada yogis means having yogic body and vedic mind. Human civilization has to understand its responsibility towards your happiness. Please understand your happiness is not just a choice. You can have it or you may not have it. no. your happiness you being productive is an imp element for the humanity now. Your depression has costed too much for the country. Misguided 2, 3 youths can cause so much chaos to society. You can see how many young boys from some of the fundamentalist religions, organizations are being used as suicide bombers to create so much chaos. I really cannot understand, if five youngsters travel all the way from Pakistan in the boat, come to Mumbai just to die. I am not able to inspire 10 youngsters to give a pamphlet on mediation in the street. When it comes to positive work, how disorganized, lacking, yawning, lazy we are. But when it comes to destroying others, I don’t know how these youngsters get power. I really think if these same 5 fellows, I am talking about the Mumbai terrorist attack – the same five fellows, instead of dedicating their life to killing people dedicated it to serving people, they would have created a huge social organization where they will serve the society. I was so much shocked how so much of sacrifice is misused, abused by the fundamental organizations.

Few days before some reasons some fellow was trying to abuse us, attack us those so called enemies. I think some conversation I used a word. Immediately one of my disciple asked Swamiji that word does not fit you. I was thinking mentally wow, then this guys have their own awareness. See I am not saying what that disciple said is right or wrong. But I am just seeing the mental flow. I thought anyway good so that the standards are maintained. From that angle, okay. Somehow, the new gen means of course instead of new gen I will use the word next gen. somehow the word next gen means depressed, fighting, addicted to something. That is the image getting built. Next gen should become new gen. new gen means young, energetic, well built with pure awareness, joy radiating bliss and raising the whole team around you also to bliss.

I will continuously define this concept of new gen. just like how I go on defining living enlightenment throughout my Satsangs, same way I will go on defining new gen.

2) Dear Swamiji, in yesterday’s satsang you spoke about live-in relationship as compulsory before marriage. Suppose after one year, if I don’t feel compatible with my boyfriend, should I dump him? How many men will I ‘try out’ like this before finding the right life partner? What is the solution Swamiji? - Devaangi, Allahabad, Bharat

Devaangi, the moment you are not ready to take the responsibility, I think Manu is right for you. don’t even see the fellow before marriage. Cover the face, tie the knot and in the dim light of first night see the guys face. Come on, one side you want freedom other side you don’t want to take responsibility. Go on trying till 40 or take responsibility to settle with one person in one year. See u se this one year not to decide should I dump him or live with him but to make yourself settle with him and make the other person accept you. that is why I used the word tapas. Do this as a tapas rather than in the trying out mode. I am not asking you to try out. I am asking you to do this as tapas where you are constantly working on yourself. if you are working on yourself, naturally the first one itself will click, at the most second. You don’t need to be constantly trying out.

See even for Sanyas I tell people no, no try out for one year, I will see later on. After all Sanyas any moment you can give up. There is nothing wrong. After 5 years you can give up. No problem. If you drop your Sanyas nobody is going to be offended because it is between you and you. I don’t give you Sanyas. I ask only to take it. if you see in my initiative method, I will keep it at my legs and say you take it and you prove. Till now not even to one person I have given with my own hands. Only to my father I gave that too after death. Because after death he cannot drop it.

In modern day you guys have become so wack! Mood swingy! That is the right word. Vivekananda very clearly says – a monkey which drank arrack, bitten by scorpions and possessed by ghost how it will be, your mind is like that only. They won’t be eager to take the responsibility or give up your freedom. Don’t go on asking me solution for every small point so that later on you can blame me. no. I can give only the option, you will have to make decisions.

2) I love my boyfriend a lot, but sometimes he becomes verbally and emotionally abusive. How do I respond to him? I don’t want to give him up. – Diana, brazil

Diana first thing when you love him easily you will be able to inspire him to look in. inspire him to understand abusing verbally and emotionally is a wrong pattern. It is neither mental disorder nor complete health. Wrong pattern. Don’t make it as mental disorder. Then you will be in a bigger guilt. Wrong pattern. Make him understand it is a wrong pattern. Once he understands it is a wrong pattern he will give it up or find a method of giving up. Make him understand it is a wrong pattern. May be you tell him provoking him is a wrong pattern you have. Being provoked is a wrong pattern he has. Both of you decide to give up the patterns. I think when you love somebody you will be able to sit with him and make him understand. He is not enlightened so he will not say I will be what I am, so you surrender. So he must be ready to work with you and come down to your level. Diana make him understand it is just a wrong pattern. Nothing more than a pattern. You also look deep you will also understand exactly how provoking you can be. I know woman – God! No I told both are one and the same ☺ make him understand being provoked is a wrong pattern. You also understand provoking him is a wrong pattern you are carrying. When both of you decide to drop the patterns, life becomes spontaneous living.

3) I recently got married and had a good relationship with my in-laws. As time passed, things slowly changed and I can see changes in my mother-in-law’s attitude towards me. How can I ensure that the relationship stays on good terms? - Sita Venkat, Mumbai

First thing Sita, the most difficult thing on planet earth is to maintain relationship with mother-in-law, Bharatn mother in law. It is almost like this dark magicians maintaining relationship with bhootas. Neither you can give up nor you can completely maintain. You need to maintain, but cannot maintain. Anyhow, I will give you some practical suggestions. Try if these suggestions work with your mother-in-law or not. First thing decide very clearly before the relationship gets sore, not to stay in the same house. Familiarity breeds contempt. That is the first lesson. Second try to spend time please understand when I say try to spend time only meet and depart, don’t stay together. If you stay together, the constant bickering of her thinking and constantly being tortured by your thinking for her will become too much. See in her thinking, naturally a mother-in-law thinks of holding whatever she has and retiring. But a daughter-in-law needs to think of high achieving creating. Her life is retired, settled. Naturally the clash will be too much. So only meet and try to spend time talk, talk, talk make her understand you are only going to add to her security, you are not going to add insecurity to her. You are only going to add security to her. Look in. you also may be feeling your honey moon is over with your in-laws. Understand honey moon just does not happen with your husband and wife. The feeling goes away even as time passing. Look where you are losing the newness of relationship, where the other person is losing the newness of relationship. When the newness of relationship is getting lost, you always feel the other person as threat. This is the basic secret of rel. when you are afraid of somebody, be very clear that person is also afraid of you. give the felling hat you will not harm that person, you will see your fear will be cleared. Abhayam sarva when you give security to her that you are only going to add to her life then naturally your insecurity will be cleared.
