Justin Raj, Singapore:
Nithyanandam Swamiji, I am a 19-year-old student here in Singapore. I am a Christian by birth, but have been drawn to Hinduism for the past few years. Can you help me pick out the best teachings of Hinduism to live an enlightened life, without giving up my religion?
{About Hinduism}
Justin, feel completely assured and relieved we don’t believe in conversion. Hinduism does not believe in conversion, we believe only in transformation. Justin by your name I know you are converted. Justin Raj means you are converted. They believe in conversion, Hinduism does not believe in conversion, but in transformation. Take this as my first teaching In Hinduism we believe in transformation, not conversion. Justin Raj I give you just 3 concepts. Again and again just live these 3 truths. Your life will become enlightened. First your life is not from the time you started breathing till the time you stopped breathing. Your life is beyond breathing. Means you were alive before and will continue to live after also many births. Your life is completely dependent on your conscious actions. So do not worry, do not blame anybody for anything you have in your life. Take responsibility for your actions. Life is vast, it was, it is, it will be. Life is eternal Nithya. When you understand life is eternal, Nithya, life becomes Ananda. 2nd the consciousness which goes through different bodies and different minds never gets affected by any of the things happening to the body or to the mind. So have tremendous self- confidence, courage if your body and mind even if it is worn away, you can exchange it and take another one you can re-create. I tell you only when you have the confidence you can recreate your body and mind, you will just be out of all fears in your life. You can create any number of bodies, any no of minds when they are tired, you can just throw it away and create another one. You have that freedom and possibility. 3RD for any reason, whatever may be the reason, don’t give up seeking for anything. neither by the society or by the materialistic views of humanity, your seeking should not be killed. Anything that kills your seeking is dangerous. Sometimes materialism kills your seeking, sometimes even some of the religious concepts kill your seeking. Constantly working, working, in the line of seeking, in the line of expansion. Seeking should not be taken away from you for any reason
Few days before I met some of the Sadhus. Very good and nice people. Unfortunately, I saw that some of the concepts have taken away their sincerity. See they are amazingly sincere. I am not able to make my Sanyasis sincere to one concept do Guru Puja every day before eating. Don’t eat outside. I am telling you honestly. When I saw those Sadhus, still they don’t eat food cooked by a non-brahmin. When they came to Ashram they asked for a cook who is a Brahmin. They themselves are not Brahmins. But their Guru instructed don’t eat food cooked by non-brahmin. It is just because of their sincerity, I instructed Advait to cook and serve them. God! What sincerity. I was shocked. Unfortunately the seeking is lost in them. if somehow this sincerity and seeking is mixed I can say they will be having few thousand enlightened beings. Unfortunately, sometimes even some of the religious concepts take away seeking from us. Justin, let that not happen to you. Just these 3 truths – life is eternal, 2nd you have the capacity to made any no of bodies and mind you want, 3rd do not stop seeking. These 3 concepts are enough for you to grow, expand and be enlightened.
2. Nithyanandam Swamiji,
Pranams!
Many of my friends from the temple have done the past few Inner Awakenings in which you introduced past life sessions. Some of them have had vivid recollections of their past lives and others none at all. What determines whether you will remember your past lives. Do you determine what past they need to revisit or is it the choice of the individual? Does fear of past lives prevent you from visiting your past?
Thanks, Prasanna
Two thing – people who can handle the past life memory also without having more pain and guilt, for them memories are open. There are people who cannot handle this life memory, what about past life? When that kind of people are there, the memory itself does not open up but it leaves the system, it completely heals the beings. See past life memory is not for cherishing it is not for chewing them again & again. No. it is just to spit out. Past life memories are brought to your mouth for spitting, not for chewing. If you try to chew them, you are wrong. Sometimes when you are able to handle, it is brought to your mouth and you spit it out. Sometimes when you cannot handle, I just put the tube and suck it out. Then you will not remember. Prasanna, it is just the capacity of a person to go through the memories without having pain or guilt. That makes the possibilities. That makes you to take the decisions whether to go through the past with awareness or no need to go to the past with awareness. It depends on the individual’s capacity.
In the evening Satsang I will speak more on the teachings like Spandakarika more Kashmiri Shaivite teachings. I will speak on the Esoteric teachings. I will call it Esoteric teachings of Parama Hamsa Nithyananda.
3. Nithyanandam Swamiji,
How can one develop a true sense of compassion towards life and all living creatures when every waking moment is agony/pain/anger/sadness.
Louis Hilebrand Sierra Vista, AZ
{Spiritual Concepts}
Just today morning I had an experience when one of my devotees was not in high mood. When I was talking to that person, I could see very clearly you guys use agony, pain and anger to disrespect yourself. the same dirt, dust, unnecessary garbage if it is just put on the face of the earth, it will smell, stink create disease. But put it inside the earth, it will become manure. Suffering, pain agony if it is just there unattended, it will smell. Put it inside and do contemplation. I tell you – you don’t understand the capacity of your heart. Your heart has the capacity to suck the whole negativity of the world and transform it. practice this. This is the technique of Buddha heart. Usually we try to inhale all the good things and release all the bad things out of your body. When you are inhaling visualize all the pains, sufferings of the world you are inhaling. Anyhow, anything you inhale has to touch the Ananda Gandha before it turns. Ananda Gandha is the Sparsha Mani, the moment it touches, tremendous joy peace gets radiated. All the agony of people around you, your family, your society and yourself inhale. Naturally anything you inhale unless it touches the ananda Gandha and then comes out. By the time you exhale it, it is already positive completely transformed. So visualize you are inhaling complete darkness, negativity, when it comes out, it comes as gold. Visualize this. Do this as ajapa japa. You will have so much of positivity in life. Love life even if it rips you apart. That is the strength of Vedanta. Come on. Who do you think is not ripped by life? When saints, prophets, begotten sons or he himself comes down he is ripped apart. That is what is life! The life of an incarnation the only difference is it is not that they are not ripped apart, they love the life even when they are ripped apart. That is strength. Nothing else. So practice this process of Buddha’s heart. All your Ananda Gandhas are Buddha’s heart. All your Ananada Gandhas are Shiva’s heart. Anything which comes out is peace and bliss. Radiate it, live it. Ananda Gandha means the source of your life – Hiranya Garbha. What you call as God, Shiva, source the cosmic womb. The cosmic inner space that is Ananda Gandha. So every breath you take inhale, touches the Ananda Gandha and only then comes out! That is why when the moment people enter my breathing space they feel so much of their suffering and pain is taken away. Because constantly my breathing space is kept pure and blissful by the Ananda Gandha . Ananda Gandha means smell of bliss. So create a beautiful AG in you. yesterday I saw one of my devotee from Bangalore I called her during this 2012 enlightenment session. All these guys are working ..like a child she was sitting. I don’t know how long she was sitting and what was happening inside her. She was just there sitting like a child. I could see her whole inner space lost all the ideas of pain, suffering, life. She was sitting like a child. How if you call a small kid and make it sit with a candy, it is just enjoying the candy. Eating it with both legs, hands, nose and mouth, I could see she was sitting just like a child. I tell you – you should have the AG which is so strong which takes away everybody’s agony the moment they come to your breathing space, gives beautiful joy, tremendous bliss to the person. only then you are liveable. People should be able to live with you. You make house liveable, car liveable. But you don’t make yourself liveable. It is time we make our own selves liveable.
Today we will have the enlightenment 2012 project sessions and evening we will have the enlightened review of the Matrix Hollywood movie. Now I will move to the next session –
1) E-pada puja – bela patel, LA
