1. Nithyanandam Swamiji, I want to attend the April Inner Awakening program. I had also put in an intention form to attend IA about a year ago, hoping to attend the very next Inner Awakening. However, this has not become a reality for me still, as I still do not have enough funds to attend the program. At the same time, I have seen some people put an intention and miracles happen for them. Is there something wrong with my intention? Why is this not happening for me? What is lacking from my side. I really want to attend the April Inner Awakening. How do I make it happen? Thank you, Lori, Los Angeles

2) Dear Swamiji, in the past one week, you have been mentioning about how one should perform towards their maximum capacity. How do I know that I have performed to my maximum capacity? Even when I perform in an average manner, my mind can fool me, saying that I am performing to my maximum capacity. How do I know I have reached the peak of my performance and not get fooled by my mind? Kindly explain. - An Ashramite

This question is from an Ashramite. For the past one week, I am continuously talking about how one should perform to their maximum capacity.

See, once there was a bunch of thread that got into knots. One disciple was sitting and removing all the knots. Disciple suddenly asked the Guru, how do I know I have removed all the knots? Guru says, by the length of the thread. If all knots of the thread are removed, the thread is in its maximum length. If there are knots, the thread will be short. If the thread length is to the maximum, there will be no knots.

Understand, each pattern in your mind is a knot. If you don’t have any patterns, you are performing to your maximum capacity. Same way, when you perform to your maximum capacity, there will not be any knots. It is an experience. Performing to your maximum capacity means, the moment you perform to your maximum capacity today, tomorrow your maximum capacity will increase. BIO-Even I never imagined I will take so many decisions involving so much of information! In 2003, when I started this sangha… to tell you honestly, I did not know it was a sangha! I started it as a small ashram. I thought, at the most, I will spread my spiritual experience to few countries, to few places. So when I started I never thought, never ever expected, so much will be happening around me. And it when it started happening around me, I never felt tired or bored. I performed to my maximum capacity, and always my maximum capacity is getting extended, extended. And I know today I am doing to my maximum capacity.

When you are at your maximum capacity, you will know. Your mind cannot fool you so much. When you are doing to your maximum capacity you will know. You will just introspect honestly. The moment you have a doubt, am I performing to my maximum capacity, you are not. If you are performing to your maximum capacity, there will be no doubt. The moment your mind brings a doubt, you are not performing to the maximum capacity. When you are performing to the maximum capacity, you will not have the mind to fool you. The best way to perform to the high capacity, in the maximum capacity, is that you should be in a position of just do or die. Otherwise you don’t wake up. Last 2 days, I was enjoying the Matrix movie. To tell you honestly, first time when I saw, only 10-15 minutes, I saw the fighting scenes and said enough, I don’t want to see anymore. But when Mokshapriyan sat and patiently explained, I understood - so beautifully they have explained all the spiritual truths! I want all our devotees to see that movie. How in the movie the hero comes to his peak. He realizes many of his capacities, extraordinary experiences and energies only when he was put in the survival mood.

{Related to Biography}, {Spiritual concepts: Maya, Parama Maya}

BIO-I tell you, I realized my energies, my extraordinary capacity, only when I was put in the survival mode. In 1999, towards the end, those few months - heavy depression. See, depression - for my personality - you cannot imagine how heavy it was! Anything I do, I go to the extreme. It was as if black paint is poured on me. Early morning when I wake up, I feel the black paint is poured on me and I am frozen. That is what is called demon, maya, Satan. But now I realized, that devil receives life only from me. Hiranyakashipu received life from Narayana, Tarakasura received life from Siva, Shishupala received life from Krishna, Ravana received life from Rama. Now I realized it is I who was giving life to it, supporting it. But only when I was put in that survival threat, suddenly my Inner Awakening has happened! The in-depth possibility in me woke up and I said, come on, and declared my freedom.

It is like Shiva taking the Rudra Avatar and standing beyond the sky. Just like that I was standing, and after that my mind never ever came back. And in that action, I received so many extraordinary powers to make anything into reality. I saw that anything I was thinking became reality. I just need to spell it out, it cast a spell on the cosmos. Man who can cast spell on cosmos just by his vaak is a vaak siddha. Vaak siddha means - by spelling, casting spell on the cosmos! I can see anything I uttered becoming reality, so much of energy infused into every action, in every mood!

I saw it very clearly. I saw it like a darshan. See, in young age, in schools, especially in English lessons, you will read the story of the Pied Piper of Hamelin town. I saw very clearly, I was walking and the whole world was following me. It was not like a dream or hallucination or fantasy. See, when my inner Me was woken up, extraordinary powers were awakened in me. Same way if you are performing to your maximum capacity, then extraordinary capabilities express through you, because God is always waiting for you. He does not seal your maximum capacity, he is waiting for every possibility. If I have to tell you in simple terms, if you raise your capacity to ten units, immediately he is there to supply 100 unit of possibility.

So I tell you, being true to your capacity means, continuously working without having the benchmark you created yesterday. You created the benchmark yesterday - if I work for 2 hours continuously and attend 10 people, I am tired. Break that. Constantly breaking the record you set is expressing your maximum capacity. Go on, go on, go on. I tell you, when you go on with your maximum capacity, then the mystical powers will express you. I do not want you guys to be socially good Sadhus. I don’t want my Sampradaya rishis, Brahmacharis, Brahmacharinis, Sanyasis as just socially good sadhus. I want you guys as mystics and extraordinary yogis, people expressing extraordinary capacities, spiritual probabilities.

Internet is conspiring with Maya that many of the great truths should not reach out to people! Just yesterday I was talking to one of my Ashramites near the temple. I asked her, how is your health? She used to be sick earlier. She said, I am okay now Swamiji, once in a while I fall sick. When I saw her I recognized, there is a part in her which is not ready to give in, and once in a while comes up and makes her fall ill. Unless she breaks that, she cannot go to the next level of building the yogic body. Because the moment she tells me, I am healthy, I will tell her to start the gym! So the mind says, I am healthy, but little bit sickness is still there. Then I will tell, Alright, let you become alright. I went away. Of course, it is not her mistake. The mind makes you believe that you may be out of this problem, but you are still having little bit of that problem - so that you don’t need to go to the next step.

I tell you, only in the survival threat your maximum capacity is expressed. You stand up, you really explode. Only when I had that survival threat - either I have to become enlightened or I have to die in depression… but for that Parama Maya to land on you, for that ultimate depression to land on you, you should have removed all the patterns from you. It is like, I removed all the patterns, but God has not yet filled in me. That vacuum is there. In the Matrix movie, a few people were awakened but not the whole world. Same way, you may be awakened from your individual Maya. But the Parama Maya was pressurizing me.

In Matrix movie, Neo is the incarnation, Morpheus is the Parmatma, mind is the artificial intelligence. Suddenly overnight the artificial intelligence – ‘l’, the mind - took over the human species. That is the day Kaliyuga started. Zion is the Kailasha where few individuals woke up, and are sitting and waiting for humanity to wake up. The villain in the matrix movie is a Tarakasura. All the police agents in the movie are demons. All you guys see the movie, then one day I will comment on the movie. The heroine, Trinity, she is the Srividya….so beautifully they have described the whole Vedic truth in one movie. I tell you, only when you are put in that kind of a strong survival threat, you express all the extraordinary powers. Till then, you don’t express all the extraordinary powers, you are stuck with all small narrow conditionings, problems, politics and everything. When you are put in the survival threat, you just do it.

I will comment on the Matrix movie the coming Sunday, 7 pm IST. You can watch the move by then. See, when you become part of the sangha, you are awakened from the individual maya. Now it is time to awaken from the Parama Maya – means the larger conditionings. You are a human being, you have limitations. Those are the Parama maya. If you are awakened, you will experience mystical extraordinary powers. If you are awakened from individual maya, you only will be a socially good sadhu. It may be the first experience. But when you break the Parama Maya, you express extraordinary powers.

Nithya Sevika, please understand - first thing, you don’t need any mental benefit - I can just see and wake you up..! Nayana Deeksha is more like ensuring that you are attending! Because sometimes when these guys don’t come for 2-3 days, I will not keep quiet. I will ask when they come next time, or send an email to them. I have my own attendance record! First thing, I make sure that you catch the truth. 2nd, especially during the Kriyas I make sure that you do it properly. Apart from that, there are some more mystical process, like - more than you seeing the master, when the master is seeing you, you remain in his heart. When you see me, you are doing the best thing you can do to you. When I see you, cosmos is doing the best thing it can do to you! That is the reason I always recommend people to come on 2-way, Nayana Deeksha. I can see Shivangi also does not attend 70% of the time! Only 30% she comes and sits. Bhanu - 80% attendance, 20% absent!

4. Dear Swamiji, can any disease be cured through Kriya, or do some diseases require that the person be in your physical presence? - Jean, Dallas-Dwaraka

{Impact of Kriyas on diseases}

Jean, Dallas Dwaraka – I cannot say all diseases can be cured through kriya. Whatever kriyas I developed, only for those diseases I developed through conscious scanning. I have studied about the whole disease and disorder. Other things I do not know, I am working on it. In my physical presence, naturally, I can see through and can heal it. I am also writing a book called Spiritual support for major diseases - 1. Spiritual truths and concepts, 2nd - opening the channel of prayer and faith in you, by making you understand that the felling connection with higher identities and higher existence helps you, 3rd - giving you this yoga and kriya techniques, 4th - little bit change in diet, 5th - lifestyle change; I may recommend some energy bead like Rudraksha. All these 5 put together, I call spiritual support. So I am creating a major book for almost all the major disease and disorders. I tell you, future medical care is going to have spiritual support as their Unique Selling Point, their USP.

5. Poojya Swamiji, saadar pranaams. From previous satsangs, I understood that chemical imbalances are responsible for various human actions and pleasures. Does Divine will cause these chemical imbalances or individual will is responsible? Can/should human beings control the chemical imbalances or go with the flow? - With Love, regards and gratitude, Hiranmaie, Hyderabad, Bharat

Hiranmaie, control all the imbalances as much as you can. Whatever you cannot control, take it as divine flow. But the moment you know the method to control, Divine is asking you to control, it is sending the message to control. I tell you, controlling is the best. Bringing control on the all the chemical imbalances is the best thing that can happen to you. I have seen, in Zen Buddhism they have something called encounter therapy. Osho used to use this. When you work out heavily, you get so much of anger towards everybody. After that you are supposed to scream and shout – means, certain chemical imbalances happen. I saw in one of the Osho center, people screaming after heavy work out, as if they are on fire! But after that they come out of so many hatred and conditioning patterns. It is good. But when the hatred and chemical imbalances patterns come out, don’t take decisions based on them, handle them with spiritual solutions, handle them by wearing the spiritual gloves. Blessings!
