We wanted a capable leader as the next 293rd GuruMahasannidanam and for that we prayed to the Lord. That was prayer was not in vain for Lord Shiva and Parvathi Devi graced and Srila Sri Nithyananda Swami who is worthy of our eternal praise and blessing has been announced as the 293rd GuruMahasannidanam. According to the tradition of the Adheenam the Acharya Abhishekam, Mantra Kashayam and Nirvana Diksha have been given to him and we have selected him as the successor of this Adheenam. Such a beautiful scene has never been seen before. A person who is so capable, vibrant and filled with knowledge happening to us is just our good fortune and the result of our penance. I wish to point out that this is as a result of the good work done by Thirugnanasambanda perumaan. How Gnanasambandar praised the qualities of the vibhuti and healed people of diseases. He is credited with having cured the Koon Pandian king of his affliction of hunch back and heat. In the same manner Srila Sri Nithyananda Swami through the divine grace has obtained the power to heal and is healing people of diseases. Moreover he is credited of having reduced the wheezing problem I was suffering from. So what we wish to convey is that all the people should come to the 293rd GuruMahasannidanam and have their diseases cured. Not only that Gnanasambandar did many miracles he made the male Panai into a female one, he did the ‘anal vaadam and punal vaadam’ and beyond that he made the jain Koon pandian king into a Shaiva king. He is credited with have changed the Jain kingdom into that of a Shaiva kingdom. He is credited with many such miracles

In Chennai in Mylapore a rich man by name Sivanesan Chettiar wanted to give his daughter Poompaavai in marriage to Thirugnanasambandar. When she went to pluck flowers in the garden she died being bitten by a snake. After she died and after the body was burnt her father kept the ashes and bones in a pot. When Gnansambandar came to Mylapore Kapaaleeshwarar and karpagambal temple he was given this news. When he was told of her father Sivanesan Chettiar having kept her ashes and bones in the pot he ordered the pot to be brought there. In front of that pot he sang the song ‘mattitta punnagai….’. Then a beautiful girl arose from the pot. This is a great miracle and our 293rd Adheenam is doing such miracles. If he thinks and you pray here to him, in Malaysia, Singapore and other countries diamonds and other gem stones are coming. There are many instances like this. So in this manner we wish to point out that there is commonness between Him and Gnanasambandar. If people ask us as to how a person who has started an organization like Dhyanapeetam having branches in 151 countries and has gathered around one crore and 20 lakh people, can be made the head of the mutt let me narrate the example of Swami Narayanan who was already heading an organization was later made the head of Utsava tradition of Ramananda. Swami Narayanan was already heading an organization but later he was coronated as the head of Utsava tradition. This is an example of such type. The present head of the Utsava tradition is the fifth in line and he also knows Srila Sri Nithyananda Paramacharya Swami. So here we point out the similarity. Nithyananda Swami is an enlightened being. If you see from any angle, that such a talented person who is a leader who is an orator but also one who can speak spiritual concepts in English is making us really happy. His having come to this Adheenam is a great pride to Tamil Nadu. Through him the tamilians, the Shaivites all over the world will achieve enlightenment, will gain knowledge and peace. Without understanding him without knowing the truth about him they are trying to find fault. There is an undesirable understanding in the society about Nithyananda. But we would like to clearly state that the accusations against Nithyananda are completely false. Due to jealousy, ignorance and lack of understanding such accusations have been levelled against him. We wish to inform that He is a sage and saint and so he has been selected as the 293rd GuruMahasannidanam of the oldest and ancient mutt in Bharat.

This was not a sudden decision. For the past eight years we have been praying to the Almighty Lord. This Adheenam as has already pointed out is the oldest Adheenam almost 2000 yrs old and it needs a capable leader. This is the oldest mutt established by Thirugnanasambandar in 6th century A.D. We prayed for a leader who would be knowledgible, who can speak fluently in English,courageous, vibrant ready to take up the cause, compassionate, fully aware of Shaiva SIddhantam, ready to enter into the field if need be. We were made to realize that he was the choice by Lord Shiva and Parvathi Devi. We realize we getting him as our next peetaadhipathi is our good fortune and due to the penance we have been doing.

Some days back we had been there. He is known to us for the past eight years. When we went to the Nithyanandeshwara and Nithyanandeshwari temple there was a yajna taking place. During that time a sudden feeling arose in our inner space. It is that he should be selected as the next successor of this mutt and this will do good. Based on that we informed him and he was very happy. He said ‘ GuruMahasannidam selecting me is my good fortune and due to my penance. I will follow the words of Guru Mahasannidanam. Tonight I will put the prayer to the Almighty Lord, to Kalabhairava and Nithyanandeshwara and Nithyanandeshwari and after getting their order tomorrow morning I will definitely inform you’. Next morning he said ‘Mahasannidanam I gladly take up the post and as is required as per the orders of the Mahasannidanam I will go through the process of getting coronated’.

There is no need to give donation to this Adheenam. If he has given, it is as a mark of respect placing at the feet. It is a tradition to offer at the feet of the Guru whatever is offered. He has felt that he should give this offering as a mark of respect for having given the position of the next head of the mutt. This is a tradition, custom and practise.

Why was it held in Bengaluru?

The reason for having done as per tradition the Acharya Abhishekam, Nirvana Deeksha and offering the Mantra Kashyam in Bengaluru is that this thought (of coronating him) originated there and since we did not want to delay it for any reason and with the idea that since thousands of his devotees and disciples who will come here, were present there we completed the coronation there itself.

Last time when he came here we did not get the idea it is only later we got the idea.

Me the 292nd GuruMahasannidanam will be here and will look after the administration here. Both of us together will look after the administration. Just like a father and son look after an organization in all its aspects likewise we both like father and son will look after the administration.

He will keep coming to Madurai and will look after the administration from there (Bidadi)

Madurai Meenakshi amman temple was under the control of the Adheenam and also the Ramanathaswami temple in Rameshwaram was also under the control of Madurai Adheeenam till the year 1865. Then voluntarily the then Adheenam handed it over to the government. It is just his opinion that it would be better if these temples are brought under the control of Madurai Adheenam but he never said I will bring it under the contol (of Adheenam)

There is no need to write any will. He can be nominated immediately.

When I refer to him having a war like mentality I mean that when something good is being spoken of good answers come. Generally when people who speak normally speak to him he replies to them in a soft and humble way. But if someone speaks in a rough manner he talks fast. You press people know that even 292nd GuruMahasannidanam has that war like mentality. If you speak roughly that moment I may scold talk in a rough manner, but if you understand me then immediately I refer to the name I will start enquiring about you. I have the habit of immediately forgetting everything. Because I have never been living in a narrow circle. I have travelled all over the world. I have been to USA, England, France, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore. Not only that I have travelled throughout Tamil Nadu. You all know that my opinions have been recorded in many places whether it is political, social or pertaining to religion. For the past 33yrs these statements have been recorded in the history of Tamil Nadu.

His name is Madurai Adheenam 293rd GuruMahasannidanam,

Police protection to the Adheenam will be definitely given by them. Not only that we have full faith in the police, we were selected as a police officer before taking up the post of Adheenam. If we have continued we would have become DGP now. Because, after selection they gave us training as to how a person can be remanded, how to file an FIR, how to beat, how to take him to court. Not only that they told me that we can become SP, or even as IPS officer and be posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police in Chennai, Madurai or in Coimbatore or anywhere. They gave me such big level training. I was given training unofficially. Once you become an SP the DIG will call in the mike***Sir Good evening Sir***sir over sir. ‘Mr. Arun I have already told you last night did you execute or not. Sir I immediately executed sir, I remanded four people into custody and filed five FIR Sir, over Sir. Thank you Arun, roger carry on’, he will say. They said ‘the word Roger should not be used by you, it should be used only by the higher officials’. They gave me the training that ‘the word Roger should not be used by you, you are just SP the higher officials, that is DIG only can use it’. Not only that we have faith on the police, it is only for the past 1yr that we do not have the P.S.O with the uniform, machine gun and being in the Adheenam you all know very well he used to come in the car. It was taken away one and a half yrs back we have once again asked for it and given a petition to the Tamil Nadu government. We have the trust that the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Dr.Puratchi Thlaivi will grant us. In the midst of all her duties, throughout the world we have not seen anyone like Puratchi Thalaivi. As per her name she is a puratchi thalaivi for to that level the spiritual work, social work, political work, taking pains to make the administration function well, rectifying the administration with the feeling of doing good to the people. With that in view this great leader who has been making night into day and is working, amidst so many vast consideration she may not have time to consider this small request and so we are waiting. We are clearly and firmly felicitating and blessing her rule.

Already when BJP secretary Thirumurugan was approached and asked that Nithyananda who is appointed is accused in a sex scandal, the BJP has replied that it is the internal matter of the Adheenam and BJP will not interfere into it. What can other Adheenams say…they will realize. It is the responsibility of each Adheenam to select the successor. It is each ones responsibility. Other Adheenams cannot interfere into this. If Dharmapuram Adheenam selects a successor we cannot interfere into it. If Thiruvavaduthurai Adheenam makes a selection we cannot interfere into it. If there is selection made in Kunrakkudi Adheenam we cannot interfere. Everyone of them are independent Adheenams.

I offer my humble prayers at the feet of the 292nd GuruMahasannidanam of Madurai Adheenam Srila Sri Arunagirinatha Gnanasambanda Desika Paramacharya Swamigal who has graced us with his presence.

I welcome all the press people and all the devotees who have gathered worldwide.

I gladly accept the responsibility of the position of the 293rd GuruMahasannidanam being offered by GuruMahasannidanam.

I promise to fulfill the responsibilities of this position. We will add to the glory of this Madurai Adheenam and will add glory to GuruMahasannidanam by administering the Madurai Adheenam in a proper manner. The four temples under the control of Madurai Adheenam will be repaired and within this year it will be concecrated. Starting from today all devotees who come here will be served food. All the devotees and people who come to Meenakshi Amman temple will be served food at any time of the day. Not only that many spiritual and social work will be done through the Madurai Adheenam. As we have announced before in Bengaluru we had offered one crore rupees for the spiritual work of the Adheenam and now a further sum of rupees four crores will be surrendered as a small offering at the feet of Sannidanam for his charitable and spiritual works. During the ensuing Chitra Pournami on May5th in Thiruvannamalai Sannidanam will be offered another golden throne, golden staff and golden slippers. On June 5th on the day of Gnanasambanda peruman guru puja day abhisheka in gold will be performed to GuruMahasannidanam. Beyond this Me and the organization Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam started by Me with its one crore twenty lakh devotees and disciples, with its branches worldwide in 151 countries, with 40 ashrams, along with all the movable and immovable properties, will follow the orders of the 292nd GuruMahasannidanam Srila Sri Arunagirinatha Gnanasambanda Desika Paramacharya Swamigal. It will always wait for the orders of GuruMahasannidanam. GuruMahasannidanam is a big banyan tree that has been living for ages. He is a person of great experience which exceeds my age. He is person of great experience adorning the peetam. We are all like the mushrooms that sprouted today after the rains of yesterday. But Sannidanam is like a banyan tree that lives forever. It is natural for the mushroom to want to be under the care of the banyan tree because it wants the protection of the banyan tree and the experience of the banyan tree will be useful to the mushroom. Madurai Adheenam is an ocean and Nithyanandar is a drop. Just like a drop always wishes to join the ocean, in the same manner I blissfully accept the merging into the Madurai Adheenam and deem it as the greatest fortune. In this there may be many different ways in which people who come and go, will speak. I kept asking Sannidanam again and again. Actually Sannidanam only said that I should come to Sannidanam. I asked him ‘already there are rumours spread about me and when I join you people will abuse and spread rumours about you also , is it necessary?’ Sannidanam said in a beautiful manner with just one word ‘after having seen and realized you if I do not place as the next GuruMahasannidanam then it will become a historical blunder and I do not want to commit that historical blunder, you only have to take up the post, whatever comes our way we will face it’, with these words he made me enthusiastic. Accepting the enthusiasm…,

it natural that when such good spiritual works are being done there will be small hurdles. We will face them.

GuruMahasannidanam is a person of clarity, straightforwardness, with deep thinking and experience. Only because I realized that the clarity, steadiness and experience and his capacity to take decisions with deep thought, his strength of not buckling under pressure will be a great example and help to me and Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, I accepted the position of the 293rd GuruMahasannidanam of Madurai Adheenam. I bow down to the Almighty Meenakshi Sundareshwara and Ellaam valla Siddar and pray for the blessing of the GuruMahasannidanam to fulfill the duties in a capable, good and pleasant manner.

Usually Sun TV finds fault with me but I have never spoken against Kalignar TV and they have never spoken against me . But what happened for the past two days they have joined Sun TV and are commenting against me. From the beginning many press which took the social responsibility did not do it understanding the (impact??) it is ok if there is abusal. What I am saying is once we enter into the public life abusal will and I have the responsibility to answer it. But it is wrong to destroy. Some are working with the motive of destroying. Yo u say the Karnataka CD is true. But from America in a lab which uses the FBI standards we have tested the CD and four experts have given their verdict that it is false. According to Bharatn Law the opinions of FBI standard experts is accepted. Moreover the Tamil Nadu CB-CID based on the opinion of the foreign experts have once again tested it and they have said it is false. That is why they have arrested Lenin. Lenin is still in Tamil Nadu jail.
