Prayer. Today’s subject is ‘Participatory Universe!’

4th chapter, 15th verse –

Vastu Saamye Chittha Bhedaat….

Vivekananda: since perception and desire vary with regard to the same object, mind & object are of different nature.

Prabhavananda: the same object is perceived in different ways by different minds therefore the mind must be other than the object

Satchitananda:due to differences in different minds perception of same object may vary.

Osho: the same object is seen in different ways by different minds.

Let me enter into the sacred secrets revealed in this sutra. Participatory Universe – the universe is not independent of your participation. Please understand, universe happens as you experience because you participate in particular way. When your participation changes, when the mood of your participation changes, when the attitude of your participation changes, universe changes! There are 2 sacred secrets in this sutra. One when your participation changes, the universe changes. 2nd as different minds experience the universe in different way, it does not have a definite existence. Not having definite existence but creating the impact of existence on you is the reason why universe is named as ‘maya.’ Why it is termed as ‘maya.’ It is the hands with which you touch. It is the eyes with which you see. It is the nose with which you smell, it is the tongue with which you taste which plays a major role in the universe happening around you. The only job master does is changing your participation, changing your approach, changing your distort is what I call initiation. Changing the way you participate is what I call initiation. Changing the way you perceive is what I call initiation. Initiation means giving you the larger picture of the whole and changing the way you perceive the existence. Some time initiation happens by the right words, some time the initiation happens by the energy transmission, some time initiation happens by inserting particular life style in you. Some time initiation happens just by look. Nothing much. Just being seen. I can give you examples how master’s words change your participation in the universe.

In Sanskrit we have a very powerful word called ‘Drishti Srishti’ it is by your seeing you create. In Zen there is a very beautiful koan. In a lone forest when there is nobody if a tree falls, will it make a sound or not? Nobody knows. Sound happens only when a created vibrations are perceived by somebody. Till it is perceived you cannot name that as sound. Even now fan is running, the A/C is running. Unless you remember about it, unless you hear it you cannot call that as a sound. When it was happening by itself, without you attending or without your ears attending, without anybody attending it cannot be called as sound. It is one more usual vibration. A leaf returning to nature by becoming mud or a vibration coming out of a tree when it falls and that vibration becoming one with air all this is one & the same. There is no difference between a leaf falling from a tree and becoming nature by becoming mud. And with certain vibrations the leaf falling due to air and becoming one with it. There is no sound to it unless your hear it. Your hearing, names that vibration as sound, your seeing names that leaf becoming mud as a separate from the sound when the tree falls. Happenings are just happenings! The way you look, the way you perceive, your distort - that is responsible for the universe you experience. Your participation is responsible for the universe you experience.

I can give you an example from my own life. Latest example – fracture! Immediately after the fracture, I was talking to my bramhacharis and brahmacharinis telling exactly what was going inside. I said the reason I am not suffering is because I do not go back and think why did I get foolishly on that horse. My coach said we will get helmet and all other protection why take risk. I did not do that. I did not feel repentance, I did not have guilt. First of all, why did I get this desire? Where the hell I will go with that horse? What is the reason? 2nd, just then I completed my walking. I did not go on the horse even 200m, just then I got on it. I did not look back and ask why this foolish Brahmachari put loud music and why these ashramites shouting and cheering up and why this foolish horse got excited and threw me out. I could have sat and asked all these questions. I tell you, when things have happened it is time shaft kaala bhariva, after it happened if you approached kaala baharava, time shaft with mood of post mortem, questioning you will only have suffering. When you cut the dead body you will only have bad odor and filthy things. Time shaft has already happened. It is kaala Bhairava now – it has become eternal.

The only way to approach life – Kaala Bhairava is go either with acceptance or gratitude. Don’t go with the post mortem mood. All the questions I created now – why did I get into that horse, why did not I listen to my coache’s advice, why did these guys put loud music? Fortunately I did not create all these questions at that time. I just know it is kaala Bhairava, the time shaft, life. Kaala Bhairava, the time shaft, life - all these are one and the same - I am using different words. If you are a person who can understand only form then I give form of kaalaa Bhairava if you can understand only a concept I can tell you time shaft or life.

Life, time shaft, kaala Bhairava is a master. He constantly teaches you. He goes on aligning you with him. I am very clear the moment the fracture happened, I am very clear Kaala Bhairava this life is aligning this hand maybe for some auspicious extraordinary powers and experiences. I just know maybe the hand is going to start materializing objects and give powerful direct enlightenment experiences to people. Maybe the hand needs to be aligned in certain way. I did not invite the accident. Same way, I did not go to the life, I did not go to the master with post mortem mood. I went with the mood of initiation – yes this is life! Understand beautifully Krishna describes in Gita – ‘having the materials to serve and with the deep seeking mood and serving mood approach the master.’ I tell you approach life in the same way! I can tell you life can initiate you. Now I will prove in few days not only I did not have pain throughout this incident I will prove this has happened for some auspicious reasons and it is like certain alignment and certain alterations are happening inside. Our foolish mind can question - cannot universe, cosmos do this without this fracture and wild methods? The only difference between you and me is I do not question like that. That is why he is doing this on me and because you ask questions he is not doing with you. That’s all. Nothing else! When your participation changes, the whole happening becomes different for you. The same fracture which could have caused tremendous physical suffering, tremendous mental suffering, tremendous depression and distrust over the God, or Guru or life or cosmos could have happened. Many people I have seen a small mosquito bite, a small blade cut is enough for them to blame all the 33 crore Gods in Bharat. They will ask why did not Ganesha protect me, why did not Subramanaya protect me, what happened to Nithyananda I did puja to him every day. What happened to this Anandeshwara to whom I doing puja everyday – why did they not protect me?

Wow! 2 diamonds have materialized in Oman!

Let us understand this participatory universe. See now, you feel your individual consciousness needs to struggle and the whole universe is a enemy to it and life is a constant struggle between the whole and your individual consciousness! One of our ashramite had a strong faith on me. He is an astrologer he said Swamiji whatever said and done Sani catches every body. you are having Sani. Understand Sani is not our enemy. Even if he has done something he is aligning me for something great. How can Sani who is part of me be against me? The big problem is even the so called spiritual people when they listen to all this they say this all can be a good justification but fracture is fracture. These all he is telling to teach us something. Be very clear, I will not talk anything which is not my own. I am not here to promote the universe. I am not the promotion agent or service agent for the universe or God. I promote only me! I promote very clearly what is me. I don’t waste time promoting anybody else. Be very clear. Now whatever I am talking to you is my clear experience. The moment the fracture happened, from inside the bone marrow all these understandings have come up. From inside the bone marrow, suffering and pain did not leak into my system. Only these understandings leaked! I tell you the right participation means the whole universe is constantly fulfilling itself through you. Universe is waiting to fulfill itself through you. He is rejoicing your fulfillment. He is celebrating your fulfillment. He is not your enemy. When you even have a slight effect or idea you are his enemy he just keeps quiet. I am happy I am giving so much of freedom to Sani or the whole cosmos to do what they want to do on my body and mind without questioning them, without suffering. Even if you show a suffering face they may think oh no, leave it, it is okay.

Life handles you with tremendous sensitivity. Life handles you with tremendous compassion. Life goes on handling you with an extraordinary inspiration to see you fulfilled. I am not giving you hope. Actually I am not interested in giving you any positive thinking or hope. I am a man who is very blunt. The people who work with me will know. I am not a person who will encourage you and tell you - no you are good and you will become great. I tell them you are worst, dump yourself in dust bin and disappear from the universe. I am not a guy who will give you hope. I am a guy who will tell truth. I am telling you not for encouraging. I am telling you the fact. If you want to get encouraged by it, it is your participation. If not, I have no problem. Cosmos constantly celebrates through your existence. It is not your enemy. I tell you just this one distort change in your participation is enough to lead you to fulfillment. Just this one change. In this one change 3 things will happen. 1. You will not accumulate or create unnecessary suffering. 2. You will not create or accumulate unnecessary confusion. 3. You will not accumulate or create unnecessary engrams which can bring suffering or confusion in the future!

The participation is ignorance and the altered participation is intelligence and the energy which alters the way you participate in the universe is initiation! Approach life with a tremendous acceptance and gratitude! With my own example I tell you. With any ordinary man this fracture can cause tremendous physical, mental suffering. I was reading in the internet that lot of people more than the fracture because they cannot move, they get into depression and distrust over life – spiritual problem. But in my case I can say very clearly because of the right participation, I have neither any pain physically nor any psychological suffering and tremendous trust over the universe is bending the system, is preparing the system. Maybe there is some great auspicious work. My ashramites were suffering. I said what are you talking. This small fracture you saw and thinking it is big suffering. You should have seen my enlightenment experience and the next one year when I was settling in my body after that. It was like 10,000 fractures. I did not have any pain but it was like that. Enlightenment itself is like 10,000 fracture. Means the whole body getting aligned. Now it is only hand getting aligned. You did not see me at that time. So allow it. Allowing the nature to align itself. It has only increased more trust and more feeling connection with the universe and cosmos. My participation in this incident has increased my physical, mental, spiritual energies and auspiciousness.

I will prove in next few days sudden surge of extraordinary powers and experiences this hand will radiate. Because I can see the tremendous healing power flowing through this hand to heal this fracture. Literally like a heat it will be coming out. The hand is getting prepared to give powerful initiations, to transmit the ultimate enlightenment, to share enlightenment or to materialize physical objects. Maybe the body is getting ready for these auspic9ous extraordinary happenings. That’s all.

The way you participate in the universe changes the way you live you experience the universe! Life is like a breeze. If you are sitting with it, it will gently flow through you and bring freshness to you. if you are fighting with it, running against it even the small dust the breeze carries can get into your eyes and make you blind and make you curse the breeze, sun, moon, air and what not! The sacred secret from this sutra is you have the freedom to participate with the universe as you want. Do not participate in the way you are having suffering, pain and unfulfillment. If you are having any of this, you are not participating in the right way. Immediately use the initiation. This is the initiation. Understand, universe is your path and it is waiting to celebrate fulfillment through you, waiting to experience the ultimate through you, waiting to enjoy the extraordinary through you. Digest this truth, receive this initiation. Change your participation immediately. Usually 2, 3 obstacles come. 1. The trust on initiation – you think – oh! Who knows if it is true or not. But if you see my life, my own experience, whether it is true or not you will see it. if I am really having pain or suffering, I don’t need to cover it up to promote somebody. I am only seeing what is whatever I spoke is truth in my experience. That is the only reason I am promoting. Otherwise Patanjali has not paid me and I cannot even patent on him because there are so many people claiming Patanjali’s words. I can only patent my experience!

I am really telling you the honest truth. Catch this as today’s initiation. Life is waiting to celebrate itself through you. Life is not against you. He is not your enemy. He is just waiting to gush through you, breeze through you. Waiting to serve through you, overflow through you. the 2nd obstacle can be – what is the urgency? Yes it is true, let us work on it later on! When you see my experiences in my whole life – after my polytechnic education is over, I was feeling strongly that I should leave the house and start my parivraajaka yaatra to achieve the ultimate. To realize my mission. But one side in the mind I had thoughts – what is there? I know I have to go, why so much of urgency? There was some festival in Arunachala. I was thinking let me see this festival and go. After all, it is divine and not something material it is not uncle’s funeral or cousin’s marriage – it is after all divine – why not see all this and then slowly leave the house. That night I saw Ramakrishna & Sarada Devi appearing in front of me. I just feel at the feet of both of them and asked Ramakrishna for initiation. He said ask Sarada Devi she is the expert in initiation. I very clearly remember she put her hand on my head and initiated me. I looked at Rama and asked for at least some words. He said unless you feel like a man whose hair is on fire that intensity. See a man whose head is on fire will he think let me have a cup of coffee, or attend brother’s marriage or uncle’s funeral. Neither this fellow will be doing the honeymoon in the marriage or liberate the uncle. A man whose head is on fire will not think of all these things. All I had in my system is let me attend this temple festival then leave Arunachala for my search. That’s all! But Ramakrishna said unless you feel your head is on fire, with that intensity you will not break. You will go on postponing. That’s all! Next day morning I decided – no more! One of the biggest problem is many of you may catch what I am saying like universe is celebrating through you, he is not your enemy. But to live it, to make it a part of your cognizance or part of your thinking process you may thing after one week I will start seriously participating in this. today I have to give my report, tomorrow onwards I will s tart thinking, planning strongly and deeply. But this great truths in my life have taught me this postponing is one of the serious dangerous thing which becomes a serious silent destroyer in a seeker. In medical terms BP is considered a silent killer. You will not even be aware and suddenly you are dead. Same way this postponing I can say is a silent destroyer of all your seeking and all auspicious things you have. The inspiration with which you took up this spiritual life or the understanding with which you tried to transform your life or the understanding with which you too k up this life the whole thing can be just destroyed with this one thing – later on, what is there, chalta hai! Avoid these 2 – 1. Doubt of initiation, 2. Postponing. Decide you can insert these great truths only now. If you miss next 10 minutes to take cognizance of this initiation, to make this initiation as part of your thinking process. See in your thinking process many parts would have been corrupted. Pour this initiation in those parts of corruption and re align your thinking properly.

Now take these few moments. As I said yesterday, this next few moments I will vibrate this great truth and I will see that your inner being also in entanglement I can say new word eNsatsangment. And your inner space also vibrates in the same frequency and understanding of m y inner space so that this initiation, this truth is transmitted into you. Receive this initiation and fill your thinking with this one great truth – life in all forms including the life happening in your worst enemy even that life is only fulfilling you. it is only sharpening some dimension of you which is required for life.

Sit. Close your eyes. Decide to feel life is fulfilled, waiting to explode in me. Life is not an enemy to me!
