Let us enter into today’s satsang. Alright before entering into today’s satsang let us teleport something to some of these centres. Today St.Loius joined newly. Today’s subject is time space continuum!

176 Patanjali Yoga Sutra, 4th chapter 14th verse

Parinaama ekatvaat vastu tatvam

Vivekananda: The unity in things follows from the unity in changes of the gunaas

Prabhavananda: Since the gunaas work together within every change of form and expression there is a unity in all things

Satchitananda: reality of things is due to the uniformity of the gunaas transformations

Osho: the essence of any object consists in the uniqueness of the proportions of the 3 gunaas.

Now the modern day physicists are claiming everything is proton, electron, neutron. Positive, negative and neutral. Long before I can say long before the thinking has become universal life style. Please understand, see 30 yrs before the internet was not universal life style. It was only for the privileged ones. Now internet is a life style. There was a time in planet earth thinking was not a life style. It was only for privileged ones. At those days, at that time itself, Patanjali records very clearly the whole universe everything is nothing but the different proportion of satva, rajas, tamas.

You cannot equate satva, rajas, tamas to neutron, proton, electron. Because satva rajas tamas is much more deeper, much more subtle. Everything exists is mixture of these 3 gunaas. Only the proportion is different. You need to understand not only the teaching the purpose of teaching. Not only the meaning of the word, meaning of this sutra, the purpose why Patanjali is uttering this sutra. He is too big guy he does not use unnecessarily any word. You need to catch not just the sutra, the word he utters, the meaning why he utters this words. You need to catch that.

Understand, Patanjali is reducing everything to 3 gunaas. Satva, rajas, tamas. Whether it is cloth or this pillow or this body or that bodies or the floor on which you are sitting or the roof which is on your head or the fans which is running or this TVs which is running or this tele-prompter which runs once in a while, whatever maybe everything is mixture of 3 gunaas. Only the proportion changes. Why Patanjali is reducing everything to this 3 gunaas. Because once you realize everything is this 3 gunaas, enlightenment will be very clear, going beyond this 3 gunaas will be very clear. Not only you know how to play with 3 gunaas, you will also know how to go beyond 3 gunaas. The ultimate truth is that 3 gunaas are not even independent like a water tight compartment. No. it is like rainbow – one end looks violet and other end looks red but you do not know how the violet slowly turns into red how the VIBGYOR happens. It happens very softly, very subtly. One end is violet, another end is red. So only with the ends you can compare and see the difference. Otherwise it is a very subtle change, very subtle transition. Same way this gunaas also tamas, rajas, satva. This end tamas, this end inertia, that end stability. Only when you see the ends there is a stark difference otherwise there is a subtle transition. Understanding about the gunaas and how the transition happens between the gunaas, how the mixture means how the gunaas differ in the proportion in every object these are the things you need to contemplate. Please understand, do not expect you will find answer by this contemplation. You will find certain revelations with this contemplation. When you meditate how the different proportion of the diff gunaas contribute to diff objects other than the proportion of the gunaas nothing else exists in diff objects. This will make you understand that even time & space is only a matter. Please understand ultimately the understanding you are expected to have by all these gunaas is that time & space is also a matter.

Just yesterday evening when I was walking, one of my Brahmacharini raised a subject of old relationships. I wanted to share those few ideas to all of you which I was sharing with the few people walking with me. That will really help you to understand this sutra. The question was why a spiritual aspirant is expected to cut off from all the past relationships, old relationships – a sanyasi, spiritual aspirant is expected to cut off all old relationships.

One of the important steps in the path of enlightenment is realizing your kevalatva means realizing you are alone in this universe, you are unique in this universe. There cannot be any companion. In Bharatn villages you will see bullock cart being pulled by two bullocks. Path of enlightenment is only a path where single bullocks can go. Even 2 bullocks cannot pull the cart. Realizing the kevaltva, kaivalya, your aloneness you exist in unique combination nobody else exists in your spectrum, in your frequency. Any hope you carry that somebody else exists in your frequency and any hope you can be leaning on somebody in your frequency, will lead to hopelessness, emptiness. The moment when you realize, when it really hits you, you are alone, the kaivalya becomes your understanding. That is the moment you become Paramahamsa. Upanishad says very beautifully the moment you feel you are alone, you came alone, you live alone, you will be leaving alone, that is the exact moment you are a paramahamsa you can just declare “Abhayam sarva bhootebyo,” “Abhayam sarva bhootebyo,” “Abhayam sarva bhootebyo” and declare your paramahamsahood! In some religions declaring divorce is very easy. In Hindu tradition declaring sanyas is very easy. You can just declare!

Something is getting materialized in Oman. Let us see what is happening. Rudraksha and vibhooti! Wow.

In those days kings will go and hunt. They will hunt tigers and put those skins as foot mat, floor mat in their palaces as a pride. I decided same way, just with the materialized diamonds and gems I will make a crown.

Kevala. Let us understand this concept kevala. Whenever you relate with the past connections. When you work with the past relationships that time pulls you into that space because of the time space continuum. See a being which understands it is alone, kevala is a base material, raw material where extraordinary powers, experiences and enlightenment itself can flower. But once your inner space experiences the past times, naturally the time pulls you into the past space. Then for next 9 months the possibility of enlightenment is postponed. The possibility of extraordinary experiences is postponed. Again it takes 9 months for any human being to sink the idea kevala – I am alone. The 1st lesson kids should be taught in our schools is they are orphans. First lesson a child should learn there is nobody – he came alone, he is responsible for his body and head to be together, he is responsible for his hand hanging and leg connected to his body. child should learn this lesson first. But this looks too brutal, cold. You will say it is too cold, cruel. I said life is cold, don’t try to make it hot. Don’t say it is cold. It is cool! Child should know neither the father nor the mother or the relatives are going to be in his or her frequency. His or her frequency is going to be independently intelligent. It is not going to be the extension of the parent’s intelligence.

God creates. Never recreates! You are going to be independently intelligent. Unfortunately this time space continuum keeps you constantly as the extension of the elder’s intelligence. I tell you Sanyas means becoming independently intelligent. As long as you are the extension of the intelligence of your elders, including your Guru – if you are just extension of my intelligence, Sanyas has not happened in you! I myself am an independent intelligence from my own masters. When I happen in you, when sanyas happens in you, you will be independently intelligent. You will not be against me. I am not against my gurus, I am not an extension of my gurus. But I am independently unique. I have great respect to my gurus and I attribute all great things happened in me to them. I tell you many attributes have independence flowered in me. But my gurus have plowed the land that is why I give the credit of the crops to them. Master can only plow the land, he cannot even put the seed. Even if the seed is put by him you will only be an extension of him.

In sanyas you become such an independent intelligence. It is not like you will become against the master. No. There are people like J.Krishnamurthi who suffer till the end with hatred, vengeance for people who brought them up. That is not independent intelligence. That is dependent inverted intelligence. Till the end in them the time space continuum is alive. Even after enlightenment you cannot completely get out of that. He had beautiful moments which he pours into the great book commentaries for living. When you read that book you know for sure this man knows, he has seen the glimpse. But unfortunately the vengeance for people who brought him up came up again and again and never allowed him to rest in peace. The continuous time space continuum existed in him till the end. I tell you neither hatred, nor attachment to the past is going to allow you to experience kevalatva. When you are cherishing the relationships of the past, your inner space enters into the past. You will then be corrupt at least for next 9 months. For next 9 months if you can keep away cherishing past relationships then the possibility of kevala will happen in you. kids should be beautifully this lesson that you are alone. Don’t be afraid but be very clear nobody is there to take care of you. this is life. These are the basic qualities of life. What you eat, you have to digest, what you breathe you have to live with it. what you think, you have to experience it. life is kevala. I tell you if we can teach kids this lesson, we can make them as responsible human beings and universal citizens. It is time we create universal citizens. God is too big to be contained in one religion. Human beings are now too big to be contained with one nationality. Spirituality should make people understand God is too big to be contained in one religion. Science and outer world intelligence should make human beings to understand that human beings are too big to be contained in one nationality. We need universal god and universal man. Only when you understand you are kevala, you will become universal. Till then you will be certain communal, religious, linguistic, societal, national personality! Only when you understand you are kevala you become universal.

The ability to be a universal traveler happen s only when you understand you are a kevala! Realizing you are alone, you go beyond the space time continuum. Cherishing constantly the past or constantly brooding over about the past pulls you back to the old space. I think many parents who brought their kids for eNgenius are thinking oh God! Are they going to teach my child he is orphan? Don’t worry. It will only make him more intelligent and responsible. I am not just going to teach your child that he or she is orphan. I am going to teach you also that you are an orphan. I will tell your kids not to be too much dependent on your parents and I will tell you don’t be too much dependent on your kids. Human beings are very fragile. After this fracture I can tell you very experientially. They are very fragile. You may have most dedicated devoted family, friends, relatives around you. I can tell you. I am surely one of the most loved man. I have 1000s if not lakhs waiting to serve me or take care of me but nobody can take the pain. Nobody can say please have my right hand, till your right hand heals Swamiji! No. so the basic truth is man is an orphan! Of course fortunately I did not have any pain. I live beyond body. so it was not a big problem. But nobody can exchange. Kids should be taught even in the mental frequency. Forget about physical pains and sufferings. Even in the mental frequency you are unique. Grow with this clarity. You will avoid millions of sufferings in your life. The courage and the confidence and the energy comes to you when you realize you are kevala, kaivalya, alone. It is unimaginable! In South Bharat there was a great saint who proved going on a horse and killing 1000s of elephants is very small than killing your mind. Killing yoru mind is much greater, bigger and killing 1000s of elephants. People go on horse and kill 1000s of elephants but I went on horse to prove that I have no pain and I live beyond body! ☺ of course there is no pain, there is no suffering that is different. But for normal man if somebody has pain, nobody can exchange, it is individual who needs to go through. So we should not go thru a pseudo psychological idea, understanding that you have people. From the beginning psychological infection should not be allowed. You thinking that you have many people, many relatives, family, friends to take care of you. that pseudo feeling is what I call psychological infection. Infactuation leads to infection! Psychological infection is what I call again & again getting caught in space and suffering with time and getting caught with time and suffering in space.

You are made of 3 gunaas and constantly you tend to get caught with either past or future because of that time space continuum constantly torturing you. realize you are kevala alone and be liberated from the time space continuum. This is the essence of what I wanted to share with you in today’s satsang. Through this sutra this is the sacred secret from this sutra. Just sit with this one great truth, remembering you are alone not only physically even psychologically. Your frequency is unique. There cannot be one more person in your own frequency. The concept of soul mate not only does not exist it only creates more sores when you meet! Sit with this one idea kevala – kaivalya you are alone physically, mentally and spiritually.

Let your kundalini energy be intensely awakened. Let you realize the truth that you are alone. Let you experience kevalatva - kaivalya!
