Girish, the mike you suggested we are ordering and getting. I request all the devotees all over the world to come up with suggestions to solve this problem – heavy light. Constantly I am sitting and taking class under heavy light is literally taking toll on my eyes. Especially yesterday after a long time, I took 4 hours 4 minutes session …I request all the devotees all over the world to Google and find some solution. Either if you have the suggestions like low light cameras or the light which does not affect the eyes or some special eye drops to protect the eyes, whatever suggestions you have – welcome!

Yes Natarajan and Sethumala please come. Wedding anniversary! I wanted to complete with all the participants of the morning yoga session. Yesterday itself I announced and put it up on Nithyananda TV because yesterday there was late night work. Especially with this heavy lights taking toll on the eyes. I am already putting the cucumber, apply sandalwood paste, already the body is from agni, it is the embodiment of agni.

शतायुषः पुत्रपौत्रान् वृणीष्व | बहून् पशून् हस्ति हिरण्यम् अश्वान् ।

भूमेः महदायतनं वृणीष्व | स्वयं च जीव शरदो यावत् इच्छसि ॥२३॥

With this sloka I stopped yesterday. I will continue on authenticity with Katha Upanishad.

शतायुषः पुत्रपौत्रान् वृणीष्व | बहून् पशून् हस्ति हिरण्यम् अश्वान् ।

भूमेः महदायतनं वृणीष्व | स्वयं च जीव शरदो यावत् इच्छसि ॥२३॥

Next verse -

एतत्तुल्यं यदि मन्यसे वरं वृणीष्व वित्तं चिरजीविकां च ।

महाभूमौ नचिकेतः त्वं एधि कामानां त्वा कामभाजं करोमि ॥

Translation - “If you thinkest of any other boon equal to this, ask for wealth and long life; be ruler over the wide earth. O Nachiketas, I shall make you enjoyer of all desires.”

So I continue. Yama is shaken! He offers everything else. He says any other boon ask I will give you. I will make you enjoy everything – wealth, long life, ruler of the world, I shall make you enjoy all desires. Any desire you want. Understand we forget and tend to forget till you don’t understand the truth of death, even during all desire as a under current the fear is going to exist. And because of that you are not going to enjoy it. You are going to just roll, roll, roll on the fear and get into death. Fit is like a there is a huge river. And you are going in that by boat and that huge river goes and becomes a falls. The huge river is the death fear and the falls is death. Whatever boat you may be having whatever pleasures you may be having – you may be having all types of food cooked, uncooked and all people you want. But understand the boat itself is floating on the river on the current called death – what is the use? It is going to fall in the falls called death…..what is the use? You will be projecting everything on the………….

First anchor yourself with the truth of realization of death and death. Stop along with the flow of the current. Instead you are saying – no, we can stop later on when you are about to fall into the falls. No. that is not the way it is going to work.

एतत्तुल्यं यदि मन्यसे वरं वृणीष्व वित्तं चिरजीविकां च ।

महाभूमौ नचिकेतः त्वं एधि कामानां त्वा कामभाजं करोमि ॥

Don’t be cheated by what all is available inside your ship. Remember ship is floating, going along with the current of the river which is very soon or little late going to make a big fall as a falls. If you are in that kind of a ship will you be asking for a boon let me have a swimming pool in this ship? Let me have one beautiful restaurant in this ship? Let me have beautiful jewellery in this ship? What will you ask if you are intelligent? Let me anchor and stop flowing with the current that is taking this ship. Yama is playing a silly game. Yama should know a person of Nachiketa’s capability who has come to his gate by the power of his authenticity, I expected little better intelligence from Yama. He is playing. It is like somebody coming to me and saying Swami, I will give you ten rupee, if you are not happy I will give you 20 rupee or 22 rupee please do this, do that. If you don’t give also if you ask as a boon, I will do that. That is diff. trying to negotiate with silliness. That is what Yama is trying to do. Even for negotiation whatever he is offering is so silly. He is saying I will give you all the wealth, long life, …what is the use? Ship is floating sooner or later the ship is going to fall. No, I will elongate the river you will fall after 200 years. Anchor it. Stop the flow. Stop flowing with the river. Till then don’t be diverted – don’t be swimming in the pool, don’t be eating sitting in the rest till you have ensured you have anchored the ship and it is not flowing with the river. Anchoring the ship is the knowledge of the death. No death before life. Know about the death then you will have no death. Know death – no death. If you know death – no death.

एतत्तुल्यं यदि मन्यसे वरं वृणीष्व वित्तं चिरजीविकां च ।

महाभूमौ नचिकेतः त्वं एधि कामानां त्वा कामभाजं करोमि ॥

If you think any other boon equal to this, ask for wealth and long life, be ruler of wide earth, oh Nachiketa …how it looks you know – oh Nachiketa I will paint your bedroom inside the cruise, I will give you the best restaurant, best swimming pool in the cruise….but you are in the cruise which is flowing in the river which is going to fall soon. See I will change all taps into gold taps in your bathroom. Everything I will change into gold, including basin. I will give you jewels. Wear everything whole day. I will give you all best things. Understand this is the lesson you need to know. Whatever is diverting you from the first priority of anchoring the ship is inauthenticity. All your inauthenticity asking you to postpone, divert.

एतत्तुल्यं यदि मन्यसे वरं वृणीष्व वित्तं चिरजीविकां च ।

महाभूमौ नचिकेतः त्वं एधि कामानां त्वा कामभाजं करोमि ॥

RamaKrishna says very beautifully. If a young princess is offered to you with the whole kingdom as a dowry, even then if you don’t even want to look at the face of the princess and consider even the size of the kingdom, you can be given sanyaas. Not before that. When the sanyaas is about to be given, suddenly a young princess with the whole kingdom is given to you, not that you look at her face and the size of the kingdom and say no. but you don’t even look up and see her face or look at the size of the kingdom and say no, then you can be given Sanyaas. That is what exactly is being said here. One more thing when you completely complete and move on, the capability of pleasure is drastically increased in your mind. There is a possibility you can be stuck with the pleasures. This is the danger.

एतत्तुल्यं यदि मन्यसे वरं वृणीष्व वित्तं चिरजीविकां च ।

महाभूमौ नचिकेतः त्वं एधि कामानां त्वा कामभाजं करोमि ॥

I want to chant this verse again and again because this shows it is almost like a silly joke Yama makes. Let us see what the next verse says –

ये ये कामा दुर्लभा मर्त्यलोके सर्वान् कामान् च्छन्दतः प्रार्थयस्व । इमा रामाः सरथाः सतूर्याः न हि ईदृशाः लम्भनीयाः मनुष्यैः । आभिः मत्प्रत्ताभिः परिचारयस्व नचिकेतो मरणं मा अनुप्राक्षीः ॥

“Whatsoever objects of desire are difficult to obtain in the realm of mortals, ask them all as thou desirest; these lovely maidens with their chariots and musical instruments, such as are not obtainable by mortals--be served by these whom I give to thee. O Nachiketas, do not ask regarding death.”

It means I will give you bigger ship, bigger ship, bigger ship. And you ask best things in that. You have beautiful theatre, swimming pool, sauna, steam in that ship – whatever you want. I will give you helipad. I will build a separate palace for you inside the ship. I will give you chariots. Inside the ship you can drive around. I will give you all musical instruments inside the ship you will be playing. But don’t ask me to anchor the ship!

“Whatsoever objects of desire are difficult to obtain in the realm of mortals, ask them all as thou desirest; these lovely maidens with their chariots and musical instruments, such as are not obtainable by mortals--be served by these whom I give to thee. O Nachiketas, do not ask regarding death.”

How many of you will accept all the special things inside the ship instead of anchoring the ship? If you are postponing aligning yourself to authenticity, you are doing this. You say today I will enjoy this and tomorrow I will align myself to authenticity. Today bonda, tomorrow that. Just today I will miss yoga and pada puja. Tomorrow that. It is okay is what is moving your ship with the flow. When you say it is not okay that is the anchor. When you say it is okay, the ship is moving with the current. See whether your life is running with it is okay or “it is not okay.” “it is okay” is the most dangerous pattern can make even God into human being. “It is not okay” will make even man into God. Oh humanity! Understand don’t put anchoring as a second priority than the pleasures available inside the ship. All pleasures are inside the ship which is floating in the current of death fear which is going to fall as the falls of death. It is like you are floating in the Kaveri in high speed and it is going to fall in the Kenikkel int eh falls. And you are too busy with all the things enjoying them, did not get into any bank and save yourself. Knowledge of death is anchoring, enlightenment is getting down into the bank. Nachiketa is being told by Yama do not ask regarding death. Anything else is okay. Do not ask regarding death, anything else is okay.

ये ये कामा दुर्लभा मर्त्यलोके सर्वान् कामान् च्छन्दतः प्रार्थयस्व । इमा रामाः सरथाः सतूर्याः न हि ईदृशाः लम्भनीयाः मनुष्यैः । आभिः मत्प्रत्ताभिः परिचारयस्व नचिकेतो मरणं मा अनुप्राक्षीः ॥

Every time your inauthenticity comes up, don’t be a past record of “it is okay.” Instead be a possibility of “it is not okay.” Then you become more and more authentic. Authenticity stabilizes your being.

Authenticity is the only thing which can cross and not disturb your being towards enlightenment.

ये ये कामा दुर्लभा मर्त्यलोके सर्वान् कामान् च्छन्दतः प्रार्थयस्व । इमा रामाः सरथाः सतूर्याः न हि ईदृशाः लम्भनीयाः मनुष्यैः । आभिः मत्प्रत्ताभिः परिचारयस्व नचिकेतो मरणं मा अनुप्राक्षीः ॥

How he is describing visually you see – lovely maidens with chariots and musical instruments such as are not obtained by mortals be served by these whom I give to you. means what? All over the ship, with beautiful maidens, great beds made out of gold, lie down then I will push you into the falls! Take bath in the swimming people, I will apply all the sandal on you, eat and be served by the maidens then we will push you into the falls. Don’t you understand you will have a golden toilet in the ship but don’t ask about how to anchor. “It is okay” is flowing with the current. “It is not okay” is anchoring to protect yourself. The today maha vaakya you need to learn is “It is not okay.” Not just words, you have to learn body language also. Let this become your bio memory from today’s satsang.

I also wanted to announce Coimbattore devotee whose rose shed thorns. Name ma - Smarana. Smarana has successfully proved by shedding love the thorns can drop. Some months before I shared this – bring rose, ….Ma I give you the title – Ma Rishi Nithya Smaranananda. You will be the only one outside the ashram who will be with this title. See I was telling about the tatva if you talk to a rose plant and talk with love and give deep security even the plant will be made to drop thorns. This was made as reality in Paramahamsa Yogananda. Even now if you go, there will be group of rose plants outside Daya Maata’s quarters where there are plants without thorns. Ma Nithya Smaranananda from Coimbatore made this a reality.

Rishi means mantra drashtra - who sees a tatva into satya in their live. Who experiences a tatva into satya. As an incarnation I have a right to give title to anybody. So I declare Ma Nithya Smaranaanda by her qualifictaiotn of making the tatva into satya, I make her a rishi. It is not necessary you should be living inside ashram or this campus you will get it. But because of your qualification you will get the title. Ashramites because of their commitment they get the title. But Smarananda because of her qualification she gets the title….she proved the tatva of paraa bhakti into satya. I declare her as Ma Rishi Nithya Smarananda. In all ashram programs she will sit with Ma Rishis. She will have access of all the things which Ma Rishis have. Out of her qualification and outstanding ability nd dedication to make the tatva into satya. She gets the title – ma rishi. It is not the thorns in the rose are shredding. It is actually the thorns inside you are getting shred!
