I feel so nice, I feel so energetic and …without coming one minute late to any session, I conducted and I also wanted to thank all the organizers and ashramites and volunteers who really made it happen. Without your help it could not have been possible, thank you guys. I also commit with you all this new habit of thanking which I was not doing. I am going to start. See I make them understand when they are not up to the mark. Same way I want to make them understand if they are up to the mark. See when they are not matching up to my anyakaara, I make them understand by terrorizing. So when they meet my anyakaara I should make them understand that they are meeting my anyakaara I am happy. Beautiful! Today Niraahaara samyama level 2, 6th day all over the world 98 people have applied and I have initiated the process to be food free – free from food is happening successfully 2nd level 6th day! and tonight also we are continuing the 2nd day of Nithya Dhyana Yoga. I tell you guys one thing from my own experience it feels so nice when you stand with integrity by your commitment. With authenticity and integrity when you stand by your commitment you have so much of confidence. This is the 1st time, 1st program I honoured in diff time zone without missing one session one minute. See I always had authenticity in my being but did not bother to make it my day to day life routine. I always thought I can afford okay. I can afford if I do not want to create sangha lying on a couch I could afford like Ramana or Ramakrishna and be an enlightened master. But when I commit to enrich the world through Nithyananda sangha, I can’t afford to live without expressing all these qualities of integrity, authenticity, responsibility and enriching in every moment of my action. I am also very happy about what I am doing. That is the main thing I don’t feel I am sacrificing something or bound by some rules. No. I am so happy. If I feel bound by some rules, you would have seen the tiredness of not sleeping whole night in my face. Can you make out from my face? And yesterday morning 7 hours satsang from 5 to 1! I am so happy I am honouring my authentic commitments with integrity. Actually I am celebrating it internally. Every session this Hamsananda who operates the music he sees me running from the room and coming and sitting. The moment he rings the bell. That bell is the victory bell for Dhyanapeetam. Death bell for all the inauthenticities and problems caused by inauthenticities- I is a victory bell. The moment I hear the first bell I run come and sit. So beautiful! Now the whole sangha suddenly last 13 days so much of transformation of every individual. People feel we have a authentic purpose of existing. ..understand when you understand the authentic purpose of your existence, you radiate so much energy. I don’t sleep at all. I feel so alive and fresh. Now not only I am awake, I will speak for hours now. Because this subject is vibrating in my heart – authenticity, authenticity, authenticity! Vision has asked me to sit straight otherwise they cannot use this clip in the media. I am ready to be directed. I have no problem. I don’t feel that I am being directed. It is out of my freedom I am choosing this. Let this be used and millions be inspired. At the most it can be little uncomfortable from that posture to this posture. I will start today’s subject satsang. I will continue on authenticity the Katha Upanishad. So Yama gave the first boon to Nachiketa. In next verse Nachiketa says -

Svarge loke na bhayam kinchana asti | Na tatra tvam na jarayaa bhibheti|Ubhe teerthvaa| ashanaayaa pipaase Shokaatigo modate svargaloke|

In Sanskrit language also I have the Tamil accent…so we don’t need to worry of grammar in Sanskrit.

Translation – “In the realm of heaven there is no fear, thou art not there means Yama is not there; nor is there fear of old age. Having crossed beyond both hunger and thirst and being above grief, rejoice in heaven.”

With this boon, Nachiketa goes to the extreme of finding the solution to the root cause problem. God. I t is not that his father was suffering with HIV and asks only for father to be cured. No. he first asks medicine for his father and then asks HIV medicine for whole world. One of the biggest disease the whole world is suffering is desire - longevity. Longevity. It is very unfortunate people are very inauthentic with this desire. There is one part in you which believes you exist forever that is good. But that is long route. People don’t want that. They want short cut and they wanted the body and mind which they already know and be very comfortable with it. The law of natural existence says you will live eternally but your possessions cannot. …you forget your body and mind are your possessions not you. if you want to be eternal, granted immediately. But you think no, my possessions also should be with me. It cannot be. And you will also feel terribly bored if your possessions are with you forever. People should und if you are with the same body forever, your same wife will be there with you forever. Then come on, let me see how many want. Your same spouse will be there with you forever. Just this knowledge is enough! Your same hub or wife will be with you forever ☺

Because you are trying to ask for eternity for your possessions which is not only impossible, but is fortunately impossible!

Nachiketas said – “In the realm of heaven there is no fear, thou Death art not there; nor is there fear of old age. Having crossed beyond both hunger and thirst and being above grief, they rejoice in heaven.”

Means there is a solution for the source disease of desire for longevity. Why his father was inauthentic? His desire for longevity made him inauthentic and he wants to do the sacrifice but he does not want to follow all the rules with integrity. It is like many of my ashramites coming for morning yoga but not doing yoga. I should also acknowledge the great visit of Ma Daya to the yoga hall today morning before time. Today is the milestone of Dhyanapeetam’s history. Just yesterday I decided not to give up on my disciples and today see the results. So this proves the power of the great tatva – if you decide that you will not give up even for 100s of years you can have the result in one second. If you think even for one second you cannot stand, even hundreds…

Me my message and my mission is honoured by Ma Daya becoming integrity and authentic. When the screen opened for morn satsang the moment I saw ma Daya I thought oh God. I went into samadhi! Nachiketa’s father Vajaisravas was having the deep desire to live forever to enjoy the pleasures of life but he is inauthentic towards the process through which he can achieve it. He was trying to keep his body alive. Even if he has performed that sacrifice with authenticity his body would have been alive for few hundred more years but Nachiketa wanted to solve this issue once for all for whole humanity. Only a being like Nachiketa can even think of liberating whole humanity from this kind of problems.

He continues on the next verse –

“sa tvam agnim svarghyam adhyeshi mrutyo | prabroohi tvam shradha-dhaanaaya mahyam | svarga lokaa amrutattvam bhajanta| etad dviteeyena vrune vareena |”

Translation – “Thou knowest, O Death, the fire-sacrifice that leads to heaven. Tell this to me, who am full of Shraddha faith and yearning. They who live in the realm of heaven enjoy freedom from death. This I beg as my second boon.”

When you have shraddha you will not feel yourself egoistic when you say you have shraddha. When I say yesterday with authenticity I honoured, I don’t feel egoistic, I just rejoice. In this verse Nachiketa says I am full of shraddha tell this to me means I will not misuse it. I am authentic when I ask you to give me the knowledge of this science. He says o death, give me the fire sacrifice….the root cause of the fear due to death….so that I share this science with whole world is liberated from the problem with which my father is suffering and behaving inauthentically. He asks beautifully – oh lord, tell me the science.

All kids, vajrasana – freeze your body. He says beautifully tell me the knowledge science of going to heaven where there is no death, where people are beyond hunger and thurst, where people are beyond grief. That is why he describes heaven clearly sacrifice for this kind of heaven not your own version of heaven. He is very cautious about what he wants and he says I am full of shraddha I want this to enrich the world, not for anything else. So he uses this as a very beautiful word this I make as my 2nd boon. Nachiketa makes me floored by his sacrifice, his dedication to enrich others! By his dedication to enrich others.

\<Sumithra behind you both are sleeping. Go and have a cup of tea and come Don’t sleep in the class especially when kaala, yama visits you don’t sleep. I know you guys had long meditation program whole night. Go and have your cup of tea and come\>

Because every word I am uttering is so important. Listen. Shravana - listen as if your life depended on it. And your life is depending on what I am saying. If you listen, you will wonder-stand I am creating a new word not just understand you will wonder-stand. Anything which clicks with your heart immediately makes the music in your heart, sings with your heart. You can’t use the small word understand for it. Wonder – stand it. And if you receive the Nayana Deeksha and your kundalini is awakened and you jump it is thunder-standing. If you hear – under-stand, if you listen – wonder-stand, if you receive thunder-standing. So now it is time for wonder-standing not just understanding. Listen, listen, listen! When you listen just by listening you will transform the people who are talking. So many of my disciples they are such strong sanyaasis in their integrity and authenticity but unfortunately they miss listening. I can give so many examples. Gopika, Supriya, Bhaktika. Extraordinary integrity and authenticity but still they miss listening. Bhaktika is the only one whom I sent to her own house to live sanyaas life! She is the only sanyaasini living in her own house as a sanyaasini! ☺ I don’t have an iota of doubt that she can be diluted. But still she is not able to transform her mother! She can’t work on her mother because Bhaktika misses listening. She will be very strong but she misses listening. Understand there are no extraordinary speakers, orators, there are only extraordinary listeners. Extraordinary listeners create extraordinary speakers. If you listen to whatever I am telling you will understand, I am an extraordinary listener. I will speak only what I heard – listening, listening, listening what I heard from the street vendors, what I heard from ordinary visitors and what I heard from my own disciples all that becomes lesson for me and it is my listening made me as orator. These few people Achala, Atma Prabha, number one Rishi Daya if these guys learn listening, my job is done. So learn to listen! I speak what you need because I hear when you speak. Because I listen when you speak. I know what you need and I speak exactly that. I transform you because I listen. When I listen, I listen to what you speak and what you don’t speak and what you want to speak. That is why many time after reading letter you gave, I will be giving a completely different solution because solution is for many things you want to say but did not say. Beautifully Nachiketa floors the whole world by his 2nd boon – 2nd request. At least 2nd request he could have asked for enlightenment. Then he would have gone to 3rd boon.

“Thou knowest, O Death, the fire-sacrifice that leads to heaven. Tell this to me, who am full of Shraddha. They who live in the realm of heaven enjoy freedom from death. This I beg as my second boon.”

The next sloka comes. Yama is also listening. Beautiful the next verse is. Yama replied –

pra te braveemi tadu me nibhodha | svarghya-magnim nachiketaha prajaanan | ananta-lokaaptim atho pratishtaam | viddhi tvametam nihitam guhyataam ||

Yama replied: I know well that fire which leads to the realm of heaven. I shall tell it to thee. Listen to me. Know, O Nachiketas, that this is the means of attaining endless worlds and their support. It is hidden in the heart of all beings.

He says – “I know well that fire which leads to the realm of heaven. I shall tell it to thee. Listen to me. Know, O Nachiketas, that this is the means of attaining endless worlds and their support. It is hidden in the heart of all beings.”

Nachiketa gives this boon. He says I will tell you. Listen to me. I will give you the science of endless worlds and receiving their support. It is hidden in the heart of all beings. Means there is part of you askhara - imperishable. Part of you which you associate yourself is perishable. Becoming the part of you which is unperishable which is in your heart is the science. The more & more you become subtle, the more and more the space you are going to live is endless. If you are established in the physical body it will end, if you are established in the pranic body it will end in 1000 years, if you are established in the mental body it will end in 10,000 years. If you are established in the subtle body it will end in 25,000 years, if you are established in the kaarana sareera, It will end in one yuga, if you are established in the atma sareera it will end in one bramhanda – one Brahma kalpa, if you are established in nirvana sareera, you will be eternal forever.

The subtler and subtler you live in the time does not deteriorate you. The more gross you are the more you deteriorate. The subtler and subtler you are less deterioration for you. time works on you if you are heavy, solid, physical. He does not work on you the more and more you become subtle. The subtler and subtler you become, he works lesser and lesser on you.

Kaala does not work on you when you move to the subtler and subtler spaces. Kaala works on you when you are more in grosser and grosser space. Time itself is teaching the science to Nachiketa how you can escape from him. It is like a police teaching you how to escape from them. It is like a thief teaching you how to protect your wealth from him. Kaala is teaching you how to go beyond time. Yama beautifully answers. He first very clearly says –

I know well that fire which leads to the realm of heaven. He assures Nachiketa. Yes, I know exactly what you are asking. And 2nd statement he makes - I shall tell it to you. means I will give you that. Third - Listen to me. 4th - Know, O Nachiketas, that this is the means of attaining endless worlds and their support. It is hidden in the heart of all beings.

Tva metam nihitam guhayaam.

The next sloka –

Lokaadim agnim tam uvaacha tasmai | Yaa ishtakaa yaavateehi vaa yathaa vaa | Sa cha api tat pratyavadat yathoktam | Atha asya mrutyuhu punarevaaha tushtaha |

This is the tune I heard this verse from my teacher. From this verse the tune changes. I still remember in Mylapur between the Sanskrit college and Hanuman temple, I will walk everyday where my Sanskrit teacher will sit and chant his name is Kashtamurthi Srinivasan. He is still there….

He is very adept. A great adept on yajnas and rituals. ..he was talking Vedanta as one step down and my kundalini awakened and I fought with him…

But morning swami Gautamananda will teach Kaha Upanishad …rule of the class is you should be able to sit only if you have learnt all the verses. Where will I learn. This Sanskrit teacher I fought. Then this teacher he is a very great person even though he has some eccentricity…Saraswathi is ecce…if you see deity itself is eccentric. Lakshmi will have 2 hand up, 2 hand down, Devi also will have 2 hands up, 2 hands down, but Saraswathi is lying. Quality of knowledge is it will be unique it will not have fear. Wealth has no freedom. Knowledge has freedom. Wealth binds, knowledge liberates. Power can do both it can either bind or liberate you.

So this guy every evening he will sit in the Hanuman temple he will teach for free. Any one can go and learn. So I will go as if I am going to the temple and listen. It is a small temple, there he will sit and chant, 4, 5 kids and 4, 5 old ladies of that agraharam area the brahmins will go and listen. So I will go and sit in one corner and listen. He cannot tell he will not tell. But I have to listen and repeat in next day class. So this is the tune I still remember –

Lokaadim agnim tam uvaacha tasmai |Yaa ishtakaa yaavateehi vaa yathaa vaa | Sa cha api tat pratyavadat yathoktam |Atha asya mrutyuhu punarevaaha tushtaha

From this verse it is teaching - the chandas the meter becomes diff. till this verse it is story. From this verse it is teaching. The meaning –

“Yama then told him that fire-sacrifice, the beginning of all the worlds; what bricks, how many and how laid for the altar. Nachiketas repeated all as it was told to him. Then Death, being pleased with him, again said:”

This whole verse has so much of meaning. Understand. This is the way the education is done in the Gurukul system. When a disciple student goes to the teacher, teacher should first give assurance I know what you want, 2nd he should give assurance I will teach you. it is authentic commitment so that disciple does not waste time with wrong Guru. Disciples asks what he wants. He specifies his needs and then the teacher confirms with authenticity and integrity I know it and I shall teach you. Then he gives instructions how to receive the knowledge he says listen to me. Then he gives the imp of that knowledge. He says this is the means of attaining endless worlds and their support. The meaning itself is so enchanting. Student should be inspired to learn. Then he removes the fear It is not difficult.

He first asserts I know it. He says I know well – prate braveemi tadu. I know well that fire which leads to the realm of heaven which you asked as per your definition. 2nd I shall tell it to you. don’t have doubt. Just because I know I may not hide it and not tell you. No. He assures you I shall tell it to you. I will teach you. I am not going to keep that as a secret from you. I will share with you. then he introduces the knowledge that this is the means of attaining endless knowledge and their support and he removes the doubt from nachikeatas mind it is not difficult don’t worry, it is hidden in the heart of all beings. Then method of teaching.

“Yama then told him that fire-sacrifice, the beginning of all the worlds; what bricks, how many and how laid for the altar. Nachiketas repeated. You need to understand this word - Yama then told him that fire-sacrifice, the beginning of all the worlds – what is the meaning? Understand only when you und the beginning of all the world, you will know how to be endless with all the worlds. Only if you und the beginning of alt he world, you can be endless. He asked how to be endless. If you have to be endless you have to know the beginning. You need to know the science of beginning. Please understand anything which has a beginning which you can calculate with your logic, will have an end also which you can calculate with your logic. Anything which you can calculate with your logic before physical maturity, please understand your logic will take a quantum leap the moment your body is physically mature. That is why in our Gurukul we had only two sections – balak and the ones who were physically mature were Yuva. Balak and yuva. Kids who are physically mature and not physically mature. If a balak’s logic can calculate and visualize the beginning then the end also will be within his visualization. If a yuva’s logic can calculate and visualize the beginning then the end also will be within his visualization

For example, if you can visualize 100 years and the ….but it is in your realm of visualization. I have decided to take the responsibility of everybody’s inauthenticity. That is why I am not firing now, when you are sleeping, you will be given a cup of tea. Because it is satsang I am only calling the names and asking them for tea, if it is office, I am going to take the tea cup, put it on their table and wake them up. Anyhow. Understand the science of beginning. If you can’t imagine the beginning of something and you will not know the end of that and it is endless. That is why Yama is saying beginning of all the worlds means he is teaching him about the endless worlds. He is teaching the endless worlds by teaching beginning of the worlds. Otherwise a common man will think why? When he is teaching beginning when is asking about endlessness. You will not know endlessness unless you know the beginning…yama showing see this was the beginning and it has not ended after so many years so this is endlessness…..so you have to transmit the teaching without leaving a doubt in the student’s heart. Teachers of Gurukul, listen how to teach your student…you should authentically know the answer and syllabus. If you just say I know this one thing from syllabus…if you are a teacher you should know every possible doubts that can happen. And then you should give them the assurance with authenticity and integrity – I shall teach you. today all the Gurukul teachers should sit and declare with authenticity and integrity should first declare they know it or not and if they will teach it or not…this is how the teaching should happen in all Vedic schools. And you should also remove the fear of exams. When the child goes he asks is this the right place for me to study. Will these guys teach me when I go. Will it be diff or easy? This is major 3 questions a child will have. Yama clears all the 3. And then they should remind the child to listen before teaching! And now Yama teaches –

Yama then told him that fire-sacrifice, the beginning of all the worlds. See he was teaching this world began 10, 000 years before, this world began 20,000 years before, this world began 2 lakh years before, this world began trillions of years before. So naturally this is the longest with this we can make sure that the quality of this material is so strong and it is endless…; what bricks, how many and how laid for the altar. Means the cosmic airport to take off to those spaces Is the fire altar. Understand the fire altar is the cosmic airport. You can take off. So the airport’s directions, way the altar need to be built, everything was taught by Yama to Nachiketa. The Upanishad says Nachiketas repeated all as it was told to him. Upanishad is not saying Nachiketas too k notes. Nachiketas repeated all that was told to him. Eka Santagraahi. Then death Yama being pleased with him means because he need not repeat again, he was pleased. When you get a student like Nachiketa, 100% I am sure you will be pleased.

Yama then told him that fire-sacrifice, the beginning of all the worlds; if you chant that particular mantras, with that particular fire altar in that particular frequency….if your frequency falls down, again repeat the same. Over. That is why how the altar is laid is very important.

I commit with you guys authentically with integrity I will reveal the science of putra kameshti yajna – how from the fire the Meenakshi walked out as a child. I will reveal the science! I will do it. It is possible. It is there in the bio memory. I just need to open the file and spell it out in the language you und. It may take time. The disciples who are able to listen. But once I am able to create the disciples who are able to listen, I will reveal it.

Nachiketas repeated all as it was told to him. Then Death, being pleased with him, again said:

“The great-souled Yama means Mahatma. Mahatma word – the oldest recording of Mahatma word is in Katha Upanishad. Mahatam Yama - being well pleased, said to him, said to Nachiketa - I give thee now another boon. This fire (sacrifice) shall be named after you. Take also this garland of many colours.” Wow! Because Yama was so happy. See naming an invention or discovery after the inventor or discoverer started in Katha Upanishad. The idea started in Katha Upanishad. Whatever Raman discovered was called as Raman effect, whatever Ramanujam discovered was called as Ramanujam’s theorems -----same way because Nachiketas was responsible to get this science out of the world, yama says let your name be there for this ritual. Let this science be named after you. understand if you are not getting any bonus from the teacher, you are not a right student. Not out of the sympathy of the teacher but because of your efficiency of learning. See all the bonuses I am giving to Gurukul continuously not because of my sympathy but because of their efficiency and their ability to learn. The most difficult thing for the kids is restlessness means sitting silently but somehow even that they managed so much. Still they have not raised themselves to the level of freezing but at least they have reached to the level of freezing.

Gurukul kids how many of you guys who are able to freeze your body, how much time will it take for the smaller kids who are not able to freeze their body to freeze their body. ? – one day. so by tomorrow you will take the responsibility? done? Done. So if one kid moves who is resp. we. All the kids who mastered the science of sitting straight you are responsible. now itself you adopt another one kid who is still struggling as a student. you mentor and ensure by tomorrow the other child is also mastering the art. Ok? I don’t eveN have one iota or hangover of a doubt by tomorrow they will do it. I just know they will do it.

The great-souled Yama – Mahatma. Yama is referred as Mahatma after he revealed this science to the world. Mahatma is a person who reveals whatever is there in his atma to the Mahat. If he enriches the mahat with what is in his atma, he is Mahatma. Because he enriched the world with his atma, he is mahatma. And , being well pleased, said to him

Nachiketas: I give thee now another boon. Let This fire (sacrifice) shall be named after thee. Take also this garland of many colours.

See that shows his spontaneous joy …he does not wait for what to give. Spontaneous joy…because that click he had is such a responsible click from such a irresponsible brain. This shows he is ready to stand for me. He is ready to stand for me. I was so happy. I tell you so happy! For all the five guys I am giving one more boon. All five will travel in my caravan from here to Kumba mela. I am going to Kumba mela by my caravan. I am going to just get back to my parivraajaka days. The caravan has internet. We have something called back pack internet. So we just fit that in the caravan and the caravan has a throne. only thing is they should not dirty the bathroom. The caravan has only one travel. I just want to travel. But of course I will fulfil all my commitments of yoga and doing satsang. In caravan I will be teaching and yoga and satsang without missing time. Because in kumba mela you should not go by flight or train. Even caravan is too much. But for security reasons we have to go in that what to do. At least for kumba mela we should bring parivraajaka yaatra. It is a boon I give them because of their commitment to maintain and honour time. Even if they don’t maintain just because of their commitment the boon is given. If they maintain some more boons will be given. That is enough. Just the authenticity of committing. Later on Dyananda came and said I committed like a big nut but I don’t know now what to do. Understand whenever you feel like you have committed on big things decide I wont give up on me. That is the pillar with which you have to support your slagging mind. Don’t thing It is slagging on your shoulder. give the strength to your shoulder. don’t give up on you! don’t give up on yourself! When a teacher please understand I am using the word teacher for Yama because as on now whatever he is teaching are only the subjects that can be taught only by a teacher. He has not yet started teaching the science of enlightenment. When he starts teaching the science of enlightenment then I will call him a master. For these things you don’t need a maser, teacher is enough. Spontaneously he says srungam – let you have this garland of flowers maybe a nava ratna mala. And there is also reference during the churning of the ocean the nava ratna mala which came out, was given to yama. But navaratna mala has to be given to yama because nava ratnas live for generations. All the nava ratnas don’t perish, that is why jewels made of nava ratnas stay for generations. Nava ratna jewels are symbol of deathlessness. So nava ratna mala which came from the churning of the ocean was given to Yama and he gives to Nachiketa now just for he being a great student. Yama must have been a great teacher that is why he celebrates the right surrender happening.

If you enjoy money, you will celebrate the student with money happens. When you celebrate ….amazing student who has given him anything other than being a great student. There is no record of nachiketa bringing any offering Guru Dakshina to Yama.

Next verse describes the glory of this sacrifice. What happens when you do this sacrifice phala sruthi.

The parents permission is required because health of the kids and age and ability to travel and all that should be checked. Because they should be able to travel in train. Bus is not possible it will take many days. Flight is not possible. There is no airport in Allahabad. All the parents who can allow and kids who can manage I will give them the gift of kumba mela at least few days. This is the spontaneous gift for being good students!
