Today we will see the 9th verse in 2nd chapter of BG Sankhya Yoga

Sanjaya Uvacha evamutva hrishikesham putaakesha paramtapa nayotsya iti govindam utvaa yoshteem bhagovaha!

Sanjaya is talking of he is a compere. Sanjaya said the conquerer of laziness and the one had subdeued his enemies having spoken in this manner to the lord of….I will not fight and became silent!

The compere is Sanjaya. He is compering. But one small mistake. Arjuna never uttered a word I will not fight. …he surrendered. But the whole mood I think putting one word extra is the habit of media. Sanjaya is also doing the job of media person. Maybe when you hear something and repeat you wanted to emphasize something which has impressed you thoroughly, without even your knowledge, you add one word. A man like Sanjaya even if he has his weakness then we can’t. it is ahuman mentality. That is the way it is. So he comperes. Says that “conquerer of laziness and the one who had subdued his enemies Arjuna having spoken in this manner to the lord who is inner ruler to all beings - Hrishikesha said Govinda! the lord who is the possessor of supreme knowledge, I will not fight and became silent.” He is compering. He is just sharing this news with Dritarashtra. Let us see what he is talking next. Let us see the next verse of Bhagavad Gita - 2nd chapter 10th verse -

"Tamo vaacha hirishikesha brihasanihabagata senayor hrishidantamivachaha..

Sanjaya continues – “Oh Bharatha! The indweller of all beings – Krishna with a smile as though reminding him that he is not conscious of the truth said these words to Arjuna who was in sorrow standing in between the two armies.” It is again a description. The verse which describes the scene. Here the word Bharatha, through this word he is addressing Dritarashtra. Dritarashtra is from the Bharatha vamsa, Bharatha’s lineage. Krishna with a smile said these words of Arjuna who was in sorrow, standing in between the two armies. It is a description of the whole scene. Only when you stand in between the two armies, you can see both sides. If you are already on one side, you cannot see both sides. Only if you are standing between good & bad, you can see both. If you are already on the side of good, you cannot see all the bad things happens because of good and if you stand only in the side of bad, you cannot see all the good things that happen because of bad. Understand its not that all the things of the good is always good, all the things of the bad is always bad. Only when you are standing in between, you can see both otherwise naturally the confusion is the quality of your decision. Please understand if your one side the confusion takes over, any decision you make in confusion naturally ends in a huge suffering. Even in your life don’t stand at any side. Whenever there is a war, of course, your whole life is a war. At least 10 MB happens in your 24 hours. Don’t jump to conclusion, rush to make decisions.

Small story –

Husband calls home & maid answers the phone. He says can I speak to my wife…okay go to the hall closet, go upstairs, shoot them both. Being a very loyal maid she says okay. She picks up the phone after 5 minutes ok they both are dead what should I do with the bodies. He says …in hurry sometimes you don’t know. So don’t make decisions in confusion & hurry. Stand between the good and bad. Only then you will be able to see both. This loyal mind from her side…whether all that 4 legs are on proper basement. Sometime the good may be standing lifting 2 legs, in that 2 maybe bad is sitting below the legs. It is not that all good are always good, all bad are always bad. Having little patience is really important. This verse is also again a description. So let us enter into next vers

11th verse in 2nd chapter SY

Sri Bhagavan uvacha ashosyana anvashochaha tvaam pajnaa vaadams cha bhaashase Gathaasoona gataasoons cha na anushochanti pandithaaha

Bhagawan said – Now Bhagawan starts BG. Understand from this sutra he continues. Till now he was not expressing his avataric mission the incarnation good. First he was silent like a psychiatric doctor listening, listening, listening. Then he was uttering 2-3 words like a friend. Only when Arjuna said Sishyasteha – I am your disciple, he is up! He is up & he is expressing his Gurudom. Understand when there is enough of disciplehood happenining. Please understand I am using the word disciplehood not disciples. There can be 10kdisciple but only one unit of disciplehood and vice versa ...means the receptivity..when there is enough disciplehood there lands an incarnation. If there are too many disciples and no disciplehood an incarnation cannot express his prupose. See for you to dance you need a stage. For an incarnation to express his energy and purpose you need to have people filled with a disciplehood. Being a disciple, being a receiver. People who are completely in receptivity. Only when there are enough of ppl who are filled with receptivity, even master expresses his Gurudom, his great energy. Even for incarnation to express what he want to express, disciples…receiving are required. It is a basic truth.

Even I was having the problem too many disciples without disciplehood. Small story – Guy goes to brain store and asks he needs a pound of brain. The seller shows this is brain of engineer costs 1000 dollar, doctor – 2k dollar. Lawyer – 20k Dollar. He asks what do you mean? He says no, you don’t know how many lawyers head we have to open to get one pound of brain. Of course…only I know how many disciples heart I have to open to get one pound disciplehood. So I saw too many disciples, with less disciplehood. Then I told Maya come on, do something and liberate me from this fellows, get rid of these fellows. Now I am free. I have only disciples who have disciplehood. That’s all! See I first had many people like Arjuna completely confused. Now I have people like transformed Arjuna. As I said Arjuna before he utters the word Sishyasteham - I am yoru disciple is a diff guy. The moment he utters the word he was a diff guy. Earlier I had immature Arjuna I had too many. Then I can’t deliver Gita. …Gita comes out only whenthe disciples are ready to receive. Not till then. I had too much of dirt in the name of disciples, head ache. Too many unconscious donkeys gathering around me and becoming heavy on the Sangha and on me and on the whole Dharma I am teaching. It is like a they completely degrade the Dharma, the whole science of enlightenment! So Bhagavan starts speaking

You are grieving for those for who are not to be grieved for. You are speaking words that are not fit to be uttered by the wise. The wise …nor for those whose lives has not departed! What a words! It is opening punch line of the whole discourse. Always the opening punch line will be too strong. See even when I do the satsang, when I come out start first I will give one statement and later on go on expanding that one statement…

He is saying - You are grieving for those for who are not to be grieved for. You are speaking words that are not fit to be uttered by the wise. The wise grieve neither for those whose life has departed, nor for those whose life has not departed!

He straight away comes to the truth of life & death. He says…see you should not understand in ordinary sense like …but if you see the next verse Krishna is uttering, I don’t need sorry I don’t see he means in ordinary sense. You are grieving for those who are not to be grieved for and you are speaking words not fit to be uttered by the wise. The wise The wise grieve neither for those whose life has departed, nor for those whose life has not departed! He is using a beautiful word. What do you mean by alive and dead? Let me define life. If your inner consciousness is awakened and goes on accumulating layers & layers of maturity, wisdom by the rolling of time, it is life! Please understand if your inner consciousness is not awakened, passing of the time adds layers & layers of engram in you good or bad – layers of engrams makes you tired and old. Are you ageing or growing? There are 2 diff things - ageing, growing. Ageing if you are unconsciously without any awareness hitting time, any experience happens is accident!

One guy goes to his boss & says Sir now I am married, increase my salary. The employer says Factory is not responsible for the accidents happen outside. The patient…nurse birth date patient gives the date, nurse asks married? Patience says no car accident!

Please understand unconsciously any encounter with time is accident. Your very existence is accident. You are either already dead or waiting to die that’s it. please understand there are millions of people who are already dead but not buried. This dead not buried they are only called bhootas. The buried people do not disturb us. Dead but not buried, roaming around these fellows only become ghosts! Fellows who are dead but not buried are the asuras & rakshasas bhootas. Krishna says you are grieving for these people? Who are asuras, rakshasaas. You are not to be grieving for these people. In the further slokas Krishna says they are all already dead. Come on help me. they need to be buried. You need to at least stop their breathing only then you can bury…mass cremation. So you can’t do mass cremation if they have a capacity to run. Krishna is not asking Arjuna to kills them…end of the MB that is what was done the mass cremation was done. They are all already dead. None of them had Inner Awakening except Bheeshma. Only Bheeshma is the person who had IA and he did not die in the war. ..After the war was over, 56 days he was lying in the death bed in the war field. Only when the Uttaraayana punya kaala started, he left the body. Krishna says you are grieving for those who are not to be grieved for and you are speaking words that are not to be uttered by the wise! There are many reasons to consider who is alive and who is dead. People who encounter the time with awareness every moment deos not accumulate engrams. They accumulate maturity. Yesterday I had given a clear description - maturity of the soul, ripe soul. Und max time you are living inside your flesh and bones seeyou are becoming mature. Either you grow or you age. Both does not happen simultaneously.

One couple lived together for 60 years …same hearing aid. Both can’t hear at the same time. Same way either you grow or age. Both cant happen at the same time. Living by ageing or living by growing. People have their own reasons to live, their own reasons to love, their own reasons to be alive.

A girl fell in love with a boy at 2nd sight. Because at 1st sight she did not know he has a Rolls Royce. People have their own reasons to fall in love, live the engram based love, engram based life is not living. Krishna starts with a beautiful statement. See the statement is so precise, I am not able to expand on this statement. I am not able to even comment on this statement. I only have to just reapeat. He is so clear.. the wise greigvge neither for those wholse life has departed not even for those whose life is not …if you are growing, even death is life for you! just a different part of yoru life. If you are ageing, even life is a death for you. I know how many millions are dead but having big big houses, tomb with a key. You cant say they have houses – tomb with a key – look back how many of your houses having become almost like a grave yard. Only those few steps the late night coming and slowly sneaking into the bed and morning neither he is there nor she is bothered. Life is a long examination! Whether you face it without engrams every moment you face it without engrams it is a success, every moment you face with engrams it is a failure. It is a long examination.

3 ways to write exam – look up for inspiration, look down for concentration, look around for information. For life also it is same! Look up for inspiration…

Life is a long examination where every moment you spend with awaren3ess you are winnign the game every moment you spend with unawareness you lose the game! You are grieving for those who are not be grieved for and you are ….nor for those whose life has not departed! Whether you are with the body or without the body, wise never greive for anybody. If somebody is wise they know man whose inner awakening has happened even if he is without the body, he is only growing. Man whose IA has not happened, even with the body they are ageing. So don’t grieve for those who have departed nor those whose life has not departed. I think it is such a strong line. Thousands of meanings can be given to this line, thousands of interpretation …again & again internally.this line has to be repeated again & again & again in every situation of our life. So we understand every moment is spent with the awareness it is the moemtn youa re growing. Start creating a diary for yourself – today how mnay hours I grew, how mnay hours I age? If you count, everyday morning 5 hours you grow during the sadhana. And after that almost eveyr hour you age. Rememner eveyr moment are you growing or ageing? Growing or ageing?

Ashochyaan anavashochasya tvam prajnaa vattanscha …katha na anusho…

You are grieving…repeat…I leave you all with this one word so that whole day you contemplate with this one word. As Bhagawan starts today the Gita I want all of you to sit for few moments doing manana of this word – just remembering this one truth, you will continue to see in the further satsangs all the extraordinary expressions of Bhagavan. Close your eyes and just sit with this one thought.

Bless you all who are sititng with us 772-9-202-20!
