Utsanna kula dharmaananam, manushayanaam janardhana narake niyatam vaaso bhavati iti anushush ruhu!

Exactly the signature of unconsciousness. Please understand signature of unconsciousness will be continuously doing the same mistakes. They will not even be doing new new mistakes. They will be doing exactly same mistakes. Arjuna is opening up and showing the depth of his unconsciousness. Exactly same mistake. He is not even moving one step further.

One employer gave an advertisement –

We need someone responsible for this job. One guy came – Sir your search ends here, I am the right person for this job. Employer asked tell me how are you going to justify, how are going to support your statement. Sir I tell your search ends here in my previous job whenever anything went wrong, everybody said I am responsible!

Understand unconsciousness again & again & again makes the same mistakes. Does not even do some new mistakes. Here Arjuna is stuck. He says

oh Janardhana, beware …hell. …

Arjuna is talking about hell to Krishna. Sometime little bit of devotion takes away lot of confusion. You can’t expect a Gopika will talk about hell to krishna. They will say…b ut here after using all the justifications, suddenly Krishna is not bending for anything. I think I can see very clearly the whole scene. Arjuna is going on & on & on. Krishna….there is no reaction in his face. He is just there! He is just (shows gesture on his face). If there is no reaction in the opposite person’s face naturally you will get frightened. See if there is anger, ….something is going to happen. But here there is no expression in Krishna’s face so Arjuna is completely shaken and Arjuna could not understand what to do. So he goes on, he is insisting but he does not have futher logic.

When Arjuna said the whole…the whole dynasty will be destroyed, Krishna just says yes…see if there is a reaction in Krishna’s face - …there is no reaction either this way or that way. So Arjuna is not able to decide whether to talk further or to talk the same thing or to come up with some new argument. But the argument….i will not give any reaction. They suddenly realize. Ramakrishna used to tell a very beautiful example A frog one day somehow got a one rupee coin. So with that one rupee he started dancing, jumping….do you know who am I showing that one rupee coin. How that frog will feel after 2-3 minutes, same way only this fellows logic will feel in front of me. it will jump, jump. Suddenly they will realize they are jumping in front of too big a thing. which is neither interested in …

One guy very soft type of person suddenly gets the book how to assert yourself and reads it completely. Before reaching the house he finished the whole book and wanted to test all the ideas given in that book, jumps out of the car, opens the door and screams at the wife. Do you know who am I? from today I am a new person,…I want my dinner, go & prepare my bathroom…press my feet give oil massage I will go and take bath..when I come back do you know who is going to decorate me, dress me up. Through out this scene the wife was having the same face exactly as Krishna’s. …funeral director! ☺

If you did not catch, sit and meditate on it! Do dharana on it you will catch it.

There is no reaction in Krishna’s face. When your kids come and fight and argue with you if you just have a plain face they know something is seriously worng and they know what they are trying to do is something wrong. They will just jump for few minutes and suddenlty walk out. They will not even bother your answer. Here Arjuna is ran out of logic and he has nothing new to argue, nothing new to tell. But he does not feel he has emptied all his arguments. He does not feel he has convinced Krishna.

Oh Janardhana! We hear that those who have left lost family traditions dwell in hell for an indefinite period of time.

The depression of Arjuna. I can say he is almost screaming. So many verses he is screaming. But Krishna is completely silent. He is there, he is there, he is there!

The first year of the marriage the man speaks and the woman listens, the 2nd year the woman speaks and the man listens. The 3rd year they both speak and the neighbors listen! ☺

I think Arjuna is speaking, but Arjuna is not seeing any reaction in Krishna’s face that Krishna is listening. I strongly believe that Krishna is not listening to Arjuna…to understand the root of the problem. Please understand when you are agitated, confused your words do not express your real problems. ….more than reading their letter I will be looking into their eyes. I will read their problems looking into their eyes, not reading their letters. Becos you are habitual liars. Pl und all human beings got into the habit of becoming habitual liars. …I was studying each one’s patterns. How each one escapes listening to their stories, incidents. I discovered one thing 99% of ppl tell lies and manipulate situations and escape when they are challenged. And the remaining 1% told lie even to me and escaped. When you are cornerd, when youa re challenged you immd get into the mode of telling lies to manipulate the situation, to exploit the situation, to escape from the situation.Understand, more than the words of the Arjuna the eyes of the Arjuna can reveal more problems to Krishna. More than the letters you bring, what you bring in your eyes will show your real problem to me. but people feel ..but I tell you I don’t believe your letters because you have become habitual liars. Not only you start lying to others, even you don’t realize you are lying. You have become such habitual liars, it becomes part of you.

REPEATS VERSE MEANING

Arjuna is cyring. But he is not cyring with the right logic. He is just using all broken logic, all broken ideas to justify his thoughts. Justify his ideas. See it is too late. He should have thought about all these things…at least two days before. Too late.

Guy was telling his friend. I never knew …and then it was too late! Now it is too late for Arjuna because he has made many decisions based on the things which he does not have but which he made everybody b eleive he has!

Wow! Again Arjuna is blurting out – swajanam udyataaha. Swajana. I can say this chapter could have been titled as Arjuna Swajana yoga

What, Krishna wanted royal happiness or what? These fellows wanted and Krishna tried his best to bring peace…now….we are prepared Hantum swajanam udyataha.

Now suddenly Arjuna is realizing unless he stops, unless he lets Krishna talk he is not going to know what Krishna is thinking. Because there is no expression in the face. He is not able to read the face of krishna. So he is very clear he should now look into the Krishna’s verbal response. He should stop talking, he should allow Krishna to express what he wants to tell. See now Arjuna is carrying ….nor he can, he wants to obey Krishna’s words. He just wants somehow Krishna to tell …come on let us go back. But he is not seeing that kind of response in Krishna’s face. Arjuna…to find out the truth. He is doing PhD to think what he thinks as right. Und research is diff, PhD is diff….Krishna is doing research. He is looking into the eyes of Arjuna. Arjuna is doing PhD he may get doctorate, not the truth.

This is PhD resolutions – before joining the PhD the guy thinks I want to get nobel peace prize, then after 1st year –

2nd year of PhD - I want to finish PhD in 5 years,

3rd year - I want a paper, I don’t care which conference…all I want is the doctorate title

4th year – I want to finish my PhD somehow all my …

5th year – why did I come here. Why did I choose this advisor

6th year of PhD – someone give me a degree I want to leave this place forever let me leave this place

7th year of PhD – people call me an uncle….leave me!

This is called biography of PhD. Research Is diff PhD is diff. Here Krishna is doing research. He is looking into the Arjuna’s eyes. But Arjuna is tying to do the Phd. He is giving all his arguments. Btu now he realizes no response in Krishna’s face. Now he decides…is really feeling. Even though he is afraid to face Krishna’s words, he has to face. It is standing in front of him.life is standing in front of him. he has to face. He can’t escape! He has to look,. He hast to stare into the eyes of the life. How long you can be either pessimist and optimist? You have to look into the life. Being a pessimist or optimist is not a solution. It cannot lead you to life. It cannot make you experience life. To experience life you need …here Arjuna has to face life.

Yadimaam aprateekaram, ashastram shaastra paanayaha dhaartaraasthraa raney anyuhu tanme kshema taram bhave

Finally Arjuna comes to the last statement – it would be better if the sons of Dritarashtra armed with weapons killed me in the battle while I am unarmed and unresisting.

I think with this sloka ends Arjuna Vishada Yoga. Just one more verse. Lets listen first what Arjuna says in 46th verse. In the last verse Sanjaya is commenting.

---Scene the war scene and Sanjaya’s description. It is an amazing presentation. Sometime I wonder the skills Vyaasa has…story writer, screen play, ultimately producer he is almost like eveyrhting. That is why I say Vyaasa is an extraordinary story teller. Still his records are unbroken. Nobody is able to challenge the records created by Vyaasa.

He says very clearly to Krishna I am done, I am not going to fight. Relax! Please understand that true spirituality is life! For life, facing life. But always people try to use the social rules Smrithi in the name of Dharma to go against life and justify the suicidal tendencies, escaping from life, the cowardness. Here finally Arjuna declares he is not going to wage the war….decision change. So he goes on trying to justify. The funny thing is to whom he is justifying? He did not even trust Krishna that Krishna can really solve his problem. It is more like he felt he has to strongly justify his decisions to Krishna and make Krishna accept his decisions, convince Krishna. Logic sometime will not be useful to change others opinions.but it can be a good justification for yourself, to pacity you…right reasons. I always tell money cant buy happiness but sure makes misery easier to live in! ☺ see Arjuna is in a big suop, big mess base don ideas he projected to everybody which he is not. Understand how much I scrutiny I do in every step…or they attribute anything extraordinary to me. not only this mat and tele any extraordinary things people attribute to me I say is it so, …of the society, we are able to proof in front of the naked eyes of the logic, naked eyes of the scentists. Then only then I allow anything to be attributed to me. please understand thorough logicl scrutiny about what you are projecting yourself as you to the outer world will save you from many suffereings. Paying to the dentists and lawyers upfront is always good….it wil hurt you later on. So understand, same way when you project some thing as you to the world, do all your scrutiny before prpojecting so that he furute suffereings, disturbances, problems..are avoided.

He has gone to the extreme of depression. He is neither ready to stand nor ready to listen! One guy came and told me Swamiji I used to be indecisive in those days now I am not sure!

Same way Arjuna is indecisive even about being decisive. The next verse Sanjaya completes this 1st chapter. I will expand on this verse and next verse toghether.

47th verse AVY ends

Sanjay uvaadha evamuktvaa arjunah sankhye rathopasya upavisha ishrucha shaasram chaapam sokha samvijna manasa

Sanjaya says Arjuna whose mind was agitated by grief on the battle field having spoken thus casts aside his bow …

He comes back o fthe chariot, he drops everything. He comes to the back side of the chariot and says – repeats 46the verse ..he just dropped his bow, dropped his arrow and says. It is almost like over.because he comes to the back side of the chariot and drops all his bow, arrow, everything. With all his logic and deep depression, let us look at all the sutras, all the verses Arjuna spoke. Verses are the right word than sutra. Let us look all the verses Arjuna spoke. See no doubt MB war is the greatest war happened in the Humanity, human civilization. It has not effected only Idnian but wholeworld. See from diff parts of the country, …even few messengers did not go back to their countries to tell what happened. except the entertainers the jokers who were entertaining people …as per the dharma you can’t kill them. so only those people who were left went out and kept told this news and kept this tory alive! That is why in all great cultures of world, existed at that time there is reference about this war. In Egyptian culture, in Sangha literatures of TN, in Sumerian culture, in Mayan culture and in of course the whole Cambodia is all about MB war. I can say largest wall carving int eh world is on MB war in Cambodia runs to 3 Km…describing the MB war. Everything who participated in the war with his symbol the emblem flag, and the chariot his conch…it s a almost video recorded scene. Only the no. of ppl who participated in the war is carved in proportionate way…if 10 lakh 10 person. all the 54 kingdom of Bharatha Khanda and all other civilizations from all over the world gathered. Pl und even the devils and devatas were part of the war…agni astra, varuna, vayu, naga, brahmastra…involved in the war. And the devils, demons were also part of the war. It is too much. Extraordinary destruction. I know the war is too much but sometime life has to be faced.

Arjuna is in a shape he can neither fight nor ready to listen. Let us see how Krishna is going to play this drama. The extraordinary depression Arjuna drops everything, goes back to the chariot, rear side of the chariot and just sits dropping his bow and arrow. I can see very clearly the scene. How Krishna would have felt and how Arjuna would have felt how the scene is. This is the worst thing that can happen the depression of Arjuna. Let us see how Krishna can handle this whole situation in the next satsangs. From tomorrow Krishna starts speaking. Till now only Arjuna was speaking and Sanjaya was giving introduction..tomorrow Krishna will start speaking. As I told you from today after the satsang everyday we will have a Praanaayaama or kriya at least for 11 minutes which can bring physical, mental, emotional, psychological…

So today I will end the first chapter with this introduction and enter into today’s kriya – Traataka Kriya – please undesrstand, this kriya directly gets you out of depression. Since Arjuna is suffering from dep. This technique will get you out of the depression created by confusion. …due to confusion. There is a ending verse. There will be a conclusion of every chapter. Enter into the 2nd chapter tomorrow…let us enter into today’s kriya Traataka Kriya. It has 2 part. One the outer Trataka. Prepare a ghee lamp or a sesame oil lamp. The fuel we use for fire is very imp. Fire carries the quality of …fire created by kerosene and by ghee lamp is not the same..ghee lamp is for life candle for…with the lamp directly in front of you. keep your spine erect and eyes looking directly ahead. Pl udn keep your body firm and relaxed. Decide you will nto move your body no matter what. Absorb yourself ..when you are ready start gazing. Gaze intently at the flame in front of you especially keeping your gaze on the top of the wick. Inhaling as deeply as possible along with chanting the omkarma..exhale…cnter your awareness ont eh plane. gradually you may start feeling as if you are losing body awareness.s here the two lamps are already here ready. You can use both these lamp now. So I will guide you into the traataka. All centers around the world bring your lamp. We will start the traataka. So I named you guys as Somanatha. Oklahama change your board from today. We will build a Somanatha mandir in Oklahama. Undersand the 1st part I already gave the instruction. Sit steady firm but relax. Look into the lamp, gaze. Now let the KE in all of you be intensely awakened. Let you all experience the KA and strong spiritual presence.

Now close your eyes. Bring your attentions between the eye brows the Ajna chakra continue gazing after image of the flame which you can see …keep the image steady in your mind. If you cannot see the after image, does not matter, try visualizing the same flame…just witness them without reacting. Continue this till the after image is clear in your mind. When the image begins to fade, open your eyes again and start …continue to alternate between the outer and inner trataka with 2-3 minute intervals at least 3 times.
