Subject is Bhakthi the eternal key for wisdom! I can say wisdom the eternal key for Bhakthi! because the goal is bhakthi not wisdom. Wisdom is for bhakthi!

I will give you a few sacred sentiments from great devotees like Kabir and define the experience of Bhakthi. Very beautifully Bhakthi is described by Kabir –

“The Bhakthi path winds in a delicate way. On this path there is no asking and no not asking! The ego simply disappears. The moment you touch him the joy of looking for him is so immense that you just dive in, and coast around like a fish in water. If anyone needs a head, the lover leaps up to offer his!”

Yesterday one of our Ma rishi was asking what is the difference between Vyaakulata and suffering.

Base of bhakthi is non-suffering. How can we differentiate between vyakulata and suffering.

Please understand in yearning – vyaakulata, you never have hatred towards God. In suffering, you will have demands and when they are not met, you will have deep pain and hatred to him. Even if they are met, you still feel you are bound by him. I have seen many people who demand me and even after I give them what they want, they refuse saying I don’t want to depend on you, I don’t want to be bound by you.

Understand the difference between vyaakulata and suffering. With vyaakulata you will always melt you and with suffering you will try to melt the other person. So vyaakulata is different and suffering is different. In vytaakulata there will never be any hatred. But in suffering you will start abusing the other person.

Here, kabir very beautifully says there is no asking no not asking. In vyaakulata you neither ask nor is there no not asking. In suffering you ask and do not get fulfilled even when given. These people who suffer say they don’t want to accept even after I give because it is being given. Suffering is based on arrogance. Vyaakulata is based on humbleness. Kabir describes Bhakti based on vyaakulata – no asking, and no not asking. Means you do not ask and does not mean you do not accept when it is showered on you. You accept it with deep humbleness and patience while keeping the passion alive!

With vyaakulata you feel he (God or Guru) is not human. With suffering you think he (God or Guru) is equal to you. With suffering you bring me to your level. With vyaakulata you always know he is ultimate and you just try to dissolve into master or God. The bhakthi path winds in a delicate way and in this path there is no asking and not asking!

Kabir is making you understand more clearly on suffering and vyaakulata. The ego simply disappears the moment you touch him. And, If anyone needs a head, the lover leaps up to offer his!

Please understand kabir is not saying if God needs a head, or Guru needs a head you offer it. He says if ANYONE needs a head, you will offer it. Not only for him, you feel everything is worthy of sacrifice. The extreme love, the extreme sacred sentiment. Maybe this sacred sentiment more than hearing too much you can just hear on one sentiment and contemplate on it, work on it, meditate on it so that you can imbibe it. I don’t want to give you too many sacred sentiments today just this one sentiment -

Understand here kabir is not saying if God needs a head, if Guru needs a head the lover lives up to offer his. NO. ANYONE needs a head. Not god needs a head or Guru needs a head. If he needs and you give it to him, you know you will immediately get it back. You may have heard 100s of stories where God gives it back.

Like in a story about Shiva, once Shiva goes to his devotees house. The couple have a small child. Shiva asks them to cook his meat and feed him as he want to eat only that as food. The couple do as Shiva says. Shiva is pleased with their devotion and he restores the life back into the child.

Like this story, you know many stories that if god or guru needs, you know in the back of your mind you will get it back. It is like a business. But here kabir says ANYONE needs, you are so full of love. If the sacrifice does not look too big it is a real sacred sacrifice.

Yesterday I was talking to one of my brahmacharinis. I never thought she will be able lead life without me. I gave her some department work where she has to go to city every day. I see she is happily doing it every day. I ask her every day if she misses me. I see that there is no suffering at all where she is. She is not even aware that she has sacrificed. The ability to sacrifice without even knowing you have sacrificed. All sacrifice really happens and becomes sacred sacrifice when you don’t even know you have sacrificed. It is like such a beautiful feeling. I called her and told – you have right over me. But just because of your ability to sacrifice, you are sacrificing. That is what kabir says – ANYONE needs a head. For any simple reason you can sacrifice. It is not a sacrifice for you it is just sharing. A causal expression of your overflowing fulfillment – this is what I call sacred sacrifice. Understand , first you need to develop yourself to non-suffering. If you are suffering be very clear you are suffocating me. I just feel like escaping from you. So first create a non-suffering base. Then build the pillars of no asking nor no not asking. If it is showered, great, if not, still you are happy. Not like rejecting when given that is pure arrogance.

Sacred sacrifice a simple casual sharing of your fulfillment. That is the kalasha of this building. In this building God lives, divine lives, master resides. I can say Ananda Gandha Chakra is this building. The foundation of non-suffering, no asking and no not asking pillars of the building and sacred sacrifice is the kalasha of the building. This is the temple where God or Guru resides, the ultimate resides in the temple.

I bless you all to have this. Blessings!
