I welcome you all with my love and respects. Dear Principal and my kids, it is wonderful that you guys are celebrating the Republic Day. I have a few things about Bharat, Bharat’s Republic Day and Bharat’s Constitution.
We can be proud because Bharat’s Constitution is very close to the Cosmic Constitution, the Dharma. Anybody who tries to live the Bharatn Constitution in its true spirit, not just in letter, but in its original spirit, will surely live the Cosmic Constitution. It will help one go near the Dharma.
In course of time, the interpretation of the Constitution has been diluted in spirit. Secularism does not mean that we have to ignore all other Dharma. Respecting and following all forms of Dharma is Secularism. Unfortunately, we have started interpreting wrongly and rejecting all Dharma.
Even now, we are the richest country in the world. The amount of infrastructure created is huge. Only if we compare with the West, we will feel that it not so. But richness, when measured in the right scale, in terms of completeness and fulfillment, we are the richest.
Let us thank Manu, Yagnavalkya, Buddha – all the great visionaries of this great Bharat, this great Cosmic Constitution of this great Punya Bhoomi. They are the ones responsible for the amazing community structure, social structure. We have had 300 wars in 2000 wars. We are the oldest living culture – 10,000 years old.
