Prayer. Welcome. Today’s subject I am continuing on Is Enlightenment Beyond Karma.

169th Patanjali Yoga Sutras, 4th chapter 7th verse

Karma asukla akrishnam yoginaha trinitam vitaresham

Today I will translate karma as accumulated results of actions. A yogi does not have accumulated results of actions because the instrument with which the accumulated results are experienced which is the mind or the body with which the accumulated results are experienced does not exist for him. Because he resides in a space where there is no accumulated results are touching, he does not have sukla or Krishna neither good nor bad. I wanted to narrate a small incident which happened yesterday. Morning one devotee from Varanasi came. She brought a kamandalu and seenghi which looks like horn of the bull and is used to do sacred bath for deity in hind tradition. She made both in silver and brought. Actually when I went to Varanasi, I wanted to bathe the deity Vishwanatha. We brought a normal one there. I told a devotee there to do that same one in silver. Varanasi is very famous for the silver jewelry work. She made that kamandalu and seenghi and did not take any money. I picked up kamandalu and seenghi and said I will continuously go to temples and use this for abhishekam. Whichever temple I go and do abhishekam, that punya will go to you. She was shocked! She said I just want your presence. I said you will have my presence and apart from that you will have all the punya out of me going to all the kshetras. Neither she nor others around her expected this. This was too much! Just a small kamandalu and she is getting so much big thing. From my side I tell you, anyhow I am not going to enjoy the karma or punya. I will enjoy because the instrument with which the suffering or pleasure is experienced that itself is lost in bliss. Both the body and mind both are lost for me! for the person not only as a word even a result is too big! She just gave one kamandalu and got a blank cheque of the whole punya – of all the merits. For the person who is receiving it is too big, but for the person who is giving it is not too big. Anyhow I am not going to enjoy. That does not touch me! it is not just words, you will see in her life, in her family’s life there will be strong shift – tremendous transformation whether physical, mental, wealth or anything else. There will be an illogical shift. There is no reason. This is the way masters bless. That’s all! That is why Dharmaraja says in Mahabharatha very clearly – whatever you give to God comes 10,000 folds back! She just gave a small kamandalu. Even for her it is not a big expense. She did it just out of love without expecting anything. Just simple decision, simple offering. She did not even say she will donate it. she just said I don’t want to take money, please tell him. Means, doing good things and hiding behind the back. Does not even want to show that I am doing these good things. She had all the qualifications for that showering to happen to her.

That is why I insist don’t do even a small bad to a master, an enlightened being. Even if you do small good, it will shower good things in your life. Even if you do small bad thing, it will shower as scorpions, not even ordinary ones but poisonous scorpions. Because I do not have the mind and body to enjoy the good and bad. People go on receiving it! for any ordinary man you will naturally think why will I give to so many temples, places and all punya goes to somebody else? In my case, not only I am giving, when I say it will really go! It is not like I sign the cheque now and later call bank and tell them to stop the payment. No. once I give, I give. That’s all. I do not value the amount that I give because I am beyond it. for example, if you are in America and you have to leave. If you have 10 billions of dollars and you have no use of them. you cannot even carry it. What will you do? You give it away to someone. And if there was one person who called you on your birthday and wished you, if that is the only person you know, what will you do? you will give him that money.

This is the logic with which karma functions in a yogi. The logic of karma is this with yogis. Same way the bad karma also. whether it is good karma or bad karma this is the logic in which it functions around the master. For an ordinary man the accumulated results of karma directly affects him. This is what I was explaining to her yesterday. If I heal somebody’s cancer, I get certain good karma because that person is healed, he is happy – that merit. And I get certain bad karma – he got the cancer because of some bad karma. That comes to me. But I do not get touched by either the good or bad karma. Then who gets it? all the fellows who abuse get the bad karma, all the guys who are devoted and serve the mission get this good karma. That is why ordinary devotees, ordinary householders, ordinary people who are no way qualified for anything, they don’t do any tapas, they have not practiced any big yoga or meditation, even they exp the levitation – the joy and bliss. Even they experience materialization.

I am receiving message just now that kumkum and honey are coming in the palms of Nithya Devi! The number of people receiving is expanding, it has become huge. Now the vibhooti has started coming in Rishi Nirantara’s hands in Malaysia! People who receive the good things from the master they have done only small good things. People who have received bad things from the master also have done only small bad things. I told her I have a huge bank balance of good karma and bad karma. If you just throw a small flower on my photo, you will have levitation and vibhooti immediately. Just throw a small stone on my photo and get cancer for the next 90 janmaas. I am a huge possibility. Unimaginable possibility and have a huge bank balance of good & bad karma. If you are sincere you will have health, wealth, levitation, materialization etc. I gave the same America example.

All whether good or bad karma are useless for me. I am never ever again going to enter into the space where the good and bad karma are useful. And I cannot even exchange. Because in my space the currency is different. So what will I do? I just give away – please have it. The logic with which the effects of the accumulated karma works around the master is totally different from the logic with which it works in your life. That is why when you just give one amalaki fruit to Shankara, your house is showered with golden fruits. When you try to give little poisonous milk to Krishna as Poothana did, your life is sucked out!

Understand the logic with which karma functions. Why Patanjali says yogi does not have good or bad karmas but ordinary man has – this is what he really wants to tell you through this sutra. When you go near a master, even if you suspect somebody is an enlightened being, do not abuse disrespect. Do not think bad, ill. Even if you ordinarily think bad or ill for somebody you will have karma. But if you do that with somebody who is enlightenment, what to do? Nothing can be done! I think I had too much of bank balance – I healed 1000s. So to distribute all that Prakrithi decided. All the negative karmas went. Still the positive karmas was not getting distributed. Then she saw all people who stood and are strongly connected to master beyond ordinary understanding of karma and receiving the actions, that is why you are having kundalini awakening, levitation etc. if you levitate and materialize vibhooti, etc. there is no bad karma here. There is only good karma. And, the more the good karma expands, the more people will receive these.

If the logic of karma with a yogi versus an ordinary man is understood, 1000s of decisions you make in your life is more intelligent and proper. My special blessings to devotees who are sitting in Ohio who just got married. You will have a happy married life! Blessings!
