Completion Dissolves Suffering

Today, Mahadeva is gracing us in the “VALAI VEESINADHU PADALAM”.

Means, Mahadeva takes the form of a fisherman and liberates Nandi who is born as a fish, and then marries Devi who is born as the daughter of a fisherman. Today, Mahadeva is gracing us in that leela.

As per the Madurai tradition, two kids are also decorated. And, you can see two kids gracing us as Sundareshwara and Meenakshi. It is a tradition in Madurai that the kids from the Bhattar family are decorated representing Meenakshi and Sundareshwara. All these days we were not following the tradition. Now our gurukul kids have taken the responsibility of following the tradition. So, Mahadeva is in the leela of a fisherman.

The story goes that Devi takes birth as the daughter of a fisherman, and Mahadeva comes down to marry her.

He comes down as a fisherman, and Nandi comes down as a huge fish.And the fish troubles the whole fishermen community.

So, the fishermen’s king announces, the head of the fishermen’s community announces, ‘Whoever kills the fish, I will give my daughter to him!’

So, Mahadeva comes down and, of course, Nandi is only acting as the fish! Mahadeva catches the fish and kills it. Then Mahadeva marries Devi.Mahadeva is gracing us today in that leela.

We will start the Nithya Satsangh.

Today I will share a few important truths, basic understandings you need to have about ROOT-PATTERNS AND COMPLETION.

Please understand, come to the space of listening!

Continuously your inner space is occupied with the root-patterns and, in course of time, you even forget that your inner space is not in your control. It is in the hands of the root-pattern. You are just a slave of the root-pattern.

Please listen! All the spiritual philosophies – Sankhya, Yoga, Jnana, Nyaya, Vaiseshika, Poorva Mimamsa, Uttara Mimamsa – all philosophies make you understand the incompletions which give you suffering due to the root-patterns, root-patterns which give you sufferings due to incompletions.

In Sanskrit, we have two words – “Samskara” and “Vasana”. Vasana is incompletions. Sanskara means root-pattern. The word “Samskara” is translated into English as root-pattern, and the word “Vasana” is incompletions.

Vasana happens because of Samskara. Incompletions happen because of root-patterns.

Till you start completing all the incompletions, you will never find the root-pattern. Till you find the root-pattern, completion will not be complete.Please listen! How much ever you struggle with any spiritual practice, whether yoga, kriya, meditation, japa, even unclutching, you will not experience the Ultimate till you complete with yourself and others. I tell you, even unclutching will become effective only after you experience completion! Even unclutching will be effective only after you experience completion!

This root-pattern does not let you see the reality, truth, as it is. I have seen many people, when they struggle with their root-patterns, they give up their highest possibility. They become victims of their root-patterns. Their intelligence gets covered, and their being gets abused by the root-patterns. Root-pattern is the important, major, after-effect of “chit jada granthi”; means, “the knot of consciousness and matter”.

Human-beings continuously become the victim of their root-patterns and, again and again and again and again, forget they are victims of their root-patterns. One of the important problems human-beings face is when you don’t understand you are a victim of your root-pattern, you start associating yourself with the root-pattern. After you associate yourself with that root-pattern, how much ever you try to purify, you will only struggle, because the dirt itself is imaginary. When the dirt itself is imaginary, how can the purification process be successful?

Only when you start the completion process you will understand how all these years you have been victimized due to your root-patterns and your life has been swindled by the root-patterns.

I tell you, all the struggles you go through in your life is from root-pattern, and, I am making this statement, very bold, important statement, if you start the completion process now, all the mess-up you created in the past also gets completed. Listen, if you start the completion process now, all the mess-up which happened in your life in the past due to your root-patterns, even that gets completed! I am making this statement boldly.

You may think, ‘No, no, the mess-up I created in the past, many other people are involved in my life!’

I tell you, in all mess-ups, other than you nobody else is involved! Because, whomsoever you think is involved, all of them are part of you!Please understand, I am not bringing some advaithic theory. I am giving you a practical strategy for solving any mess-ups you are in. I tell you from my experience. I have been in all possible mess-ups! I may not have created it, but I know how to solve it! I may not have created it, but I know how to solve it!

So, I tell you, start the process of completion. Take up the responsibility for completion. Please understand, with completion, suddenly a new way of existing happens in you, a new way of thinking happens in you, a new way of cognition happens in you.

The possibility you carry in you flowers just by the process of completion. And, whether you believe it or not, you do carry the space of changing the way others respond to you. Completion awakens that power in you. Completion awakens that reality in you.

Life goes on transforming itself, expands and reaches the next level in every field when you do completion, whether it is related to health, wealth, relationships, or knowledge. Or, even if you need an extraordinary help from the cosmic energy, what you call as God, Guru, any name you may use, even the extraordinary help is possible when you start the completion in you.

I am seeing every day in my own experience and the experience of my disciples, with more and more and more completion, the clarity you experience in life about your goal, and the clarity you experience in your life as the path towards your goal, the clarity you experience in your life as part of your possibility.

I can tell you one thing, the unique contribution of Hindu tradition, the unique truth which only Hindu tradition carries, I can tell you very boldly, is the science of completion. Because, in no other religion, “moksha” is the goal, the space of completion is the goal. In other religions, it is only the extension of the desires that is the goal. See, the heaven described in Abrahamic religions is not the space of completion. The science of completion is the unique contribution of the Vedic tradition.

In the world there are only two major groups of religions: the Abrahamic religions, and the Vedic religions. Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, all these are Vedic religions. Only these religions talk about the science of completion. Only these religions give the space of completion as a goal for your existence.

Dharma, Artha, Kama, Moksha.

Dharma is implementing the science of completion in your life. Artha is the happenings of outer world when you are doing the completion process. Kama is the happenings of the inner world when you do the completion process. Moksha is being established in completion itself.

I was spending a lot of time, I spent a lot of time to create the essence of the Vedic religions, the Vedic religions, in a few words, so that the common-man, especially the international people can associate with it. How Buddhism is projecting “Peace” as their brand internationally, I was trying to establish what can be the best brand for Hinduism which the international people can relate to. I spent a lot of energy on it. May be, for the last two years I am working on it, contemplating on it, meditating on it, as to what should be the word. First of all, all the Hindu religious leaders should accept that word, and the core message of Hinduism should be expressed by that word. All the international people who practice Hinduism, who are born in Hinduism…..

See, in Hindus, there are many categories:

People who are not born in it, but practice it; People who are born in it, but don’t practice it People who are born in it and practice it People who are born in it, but go on abusing it People who are born in Hinduism, don’t practice it, but abuse it People who are not born in Hinduism, don’t practice, it, but abuse it.

All these varieties, all these categories should accept that core message. Even for the debate they should take this as a center. Whether Buddhism is a religion of Peace or not, even for the debate they assume it is based on Peace. Same way, I was thinking, what is the unique contribution of the Vedic religions, the Sanatana Dharma, the Hindu tradition? Peace looks too small a word to define the Hindu tradition. May be, the branch of Hinduism – Buddhism – can describe itself with the branding of Peace. So, finally, from my experience, I use this word as a unique contribution of the Vedic tradition, which is the unique identity of Vedic tradition, “Poornathwa”, “Science of Completion”. That is why the first Upanishad of the first Veda, Ishavasya Upanishad…… See, Ishavasya Upanishad is the first Upanishad. And the first mantra of the first Upanishad, Ishavasya Upanishad, starts with the Mantra, “Poornamadah Poornamidham Poornaath Poornam Udhachyathey”.

Means, “From the Whole, even if the Whole is removed, the Whole remains as Whole.”

I tell you, this is the most powerful assurance you can give to human-beings. You are not introduced to yourself as a sinner. You are not introduced to yourself as a follower. You are not introduced to yourself as any creation by some Creator. The very introduction you are giving to yourself is “You are completion! Even if you feel you have been removed from completion, you continue to remain with completion”.

Understand, how you are introduced to yourself is the touchstone with which you can scale any philosophy, what for it is created. There are many philosophies and religions created just for manipulating people socially, or manipulating people politically. If you want to find out which philosophy should be your lifestyle, please understand, very soon, I tell you, very soon, because of the knowledge revolution, Internet revolution, the world is going to have the freedom of choosing your own religion! The concept of the “born religion” will disappear. The organized religions will disappear from Planet Earth! Religion will outgrow, religion will outgrow beyond the organization. I tell you, religions organizations will not be needed any more. Very soon, this will happen, because all the knowledge will be available to everyone. People will start choosing. Just like people choose their car, their house, their spouse, and they have the freedom to change, religion also will be available. I think it has already started. The New Age movements have started this. And, I tell you, I am very happy about this, because, only Sanatana Dharma, Vedic tradition has the strength to stand the scrutiny of a buyer’s market! Understand, religion is no more going to be a seller’s market. It is going to be a buyer’s market thanks to the Internet medium. Buyer’s market always enriches the product offered because of their need, demand and competition. So, I tell you, Vedic tradition will stand the scrutiny of the buyer’s market.

In the buyer’s market, I give you the touchstone with which you should choose which philosophy should be your lifestyle, based on which philosophy you should do project planning for your life. The touchstone is “what way you are introduced to yourself”. Please understand, that defines the motive of the philosophy.

If you are introduced to yourself as a sinner, the motive of the philosophy is exploitation. If you are introduced to yourself as a creation of some Creator, the motive is to keep you forever as slave. If you are introduced to yourself as supposed to be follower, or supposed to be surrendering to somebody, something, the motive is to exploit you eternally. *

What is the introduction you are giving to you should be the decision-making point which philosophy you should follow.

The Vedic tradition introduces yourself as “Poornamadah Poornamidham Poornaath Poornam Udhachyathey, Poornasya Poornamaadhaaya Poornameva Vasishyathey”. You are the Whole, even if you think you are removed from the Whole, you continue to remain as Whole! So, be reassured you remain as Whole, whether you remind you are Whole or don’t remember you are Whole. What an introduction to give to you about you!

I feel this statement of the Rishi, Upanishad Rishi, is the pride of Vedic tradition. “Shrunvanthu Vishwe Amruthasya Puthraaha, Vedamaham Evam Purushamahantham”.

I tell you, these three ideas, the idea you carry about you, the idea you project about you to others, and the idea you have about others and life – Mamakaara, the idea you carry about you; Ahankaara, the ideas you project about you to others; Swa-Anyakaara, the ideas you carry about others in you – in these three, the first thing which comes to you is the idea you carry about you. I tell you, no other religion can give you the best idea you can carry about you other than Vedic tradition, because it is a religion of completion, Poornathwa. It is a science of completion, Poornathwa.Please understand, Hindu tradition is born out of the space of completion. The Rishis who were in the space of completion have given birth to the Hindu tradition, the Vedic tradition. That is why it is born out of completion, lives in completion, leads you to completion, being in eternal completion, Poornathwa, Nithya Poornathwa!

The introduction you are given to yourself, forms the basic line of any philosophy, because any philosophy starts from where you are and what has been told to you about you. See, human-beings are in confusion when knowing about themselves. But the confusion should not be used by anybody to exploit them. When somebody is in confusion, they need help. The words told towards them about themselves plays a very important role. That is why, in Sanskrit we have the word “prayaschitha”. We don’t have the word “penance”. Penance is not the right word for prayaschitha. In Hindu tradition, we always speak about what is the pattern which makes you incomplete. Completing that pattern, that is prayaschitha. Completing the incomplete pattern which leads you to sufferings is prayaschitha. I have also seen, when Kalabhairava gives some prayaschitha, he exactly attacks where incompletion exists, where pain exists in that person! For others it will look such a simple thing; but for the person who receives the prayaschitha, it looks so difficult, so difficult, because he will exactly be touching the incompletion you carry! Even the word “prayaschitha” is beautiful. Bringing back the broken, incomplete parts to completion, is prayaschitha.

Prayaschitha in Hindu tradition is not penance as in other religions. It is not penance as in other religions. Prayaschitha in Hindu religion will directly show you the root-pattern. It will support you to complete. It will help you to complete.

I remember a beautiful story:

Swami Vivekananda, he had so much of concern to revive the Vedic tradition. There was a meeting happening in Belur Math in the presence of Vivekananda. The top people of Calcutta were present and the discussion was how the Bengalis who are the embodiment of creation and the worshippers of Shakthi, devi, became so lazy! What should be done, what should be done to rekindle their energy to awaken their Kundalini and to remind them of their power and rebuild their morale which was broken. Please understand, East Bengal and West Bengal have suffered so much due to hunger because of the artificial famine created by the British just to break the morale of the whole society, the whole community.

One of my sannyasis, Turiyananda, has done a deep research in this field and sent me some of the information. When I read that, for two days I could not think about anything else, contemplate about anything else, because I have a deep love for Bengalis. I always consider myself as a Bengali, whether in my food, clothing style, or my taste of culture, my taste of dance, music, in everything I consider myself as a Bengali. And I have a lot of Bengali music in my personal collection. And earlier, the way I used to dress also was in Bengali tradition, Bengali style. Surely I have a deep connection with Bengalis. I could not do anything when I read all the statistics of the artificial famine created by the British, and the sufferings Bengalis went through.

Vivekananda gives a solution. Please understand, it is a very shocking solution! But it helped. It solved the problem. He suddenly comes from Samadhi and says the only way to rebuild the morale, the strength of Bengalis…….

See, when a civilization is made to starve, and, please understand, not one or two, but millions of people have died by the artificial famine created! Tomorrow I will present all the evidences how the artificial famine was created by the British to break the morale of the Bengalis.

Vivekananda comes out from Samadhi and says, he says, ‘Start Durga Puja. Sacrifice hundreds and hundreds of goats. Let the blood coming from animal sacrifices flow into the Ganga, and let the Ganga become red!’You will never understand why Vivekananda gave this solution. If you want to understand, you should look into the inner space of Vivekananda. We will look into the inner space of Vivekananda tomorrow in the next satsangh, why he gave this solution.

I will move to the Nirahara Samyama.

I welcome all the Nirahara Samyama participants. Now please sit straight. Close your eyes. Cognize you have become Bidadi Kalpavruksha. Inhale through both nostrils and mouth, and hold inside as long as you can comfortably. And exhale through both the nostrils, keeping the mouth closed. Continue this Kriya for the next twenty-one minutes. With my Integrity, Authenticity, Responsibility and Enriching, I bless you all!
