I welcome all of you with my love and respects.

Today Kashi is here to invite, welcome all of us. See the major organizations embodies Kashi is Vishwanath Temple, Annapurni Temple, and Kashi Vidvad Parishad. Head of all the three are here today to welcome all of us to Varanasi. World’s oldest temple, oldest city Varanasi, oldest temple Vishwanatha. Oldest deity is Vishwanatha.

I can say that unbroken, continuously existing oldest temple is Annapurni Temple and one of the oldest educating organization is Kashi Vidvad Parishad. Please understand, Kashi Vidvad Parishad, Kashi pundits, Kashi Vidvad Parishad is one of the oldest educating organization known.

Actually, if you ask who holds copyright of all the Vedas, Upanishads, all the Agama, Purunas, Tantra, everything, that copyright should be given only to Kashi Vidvad Parishad. Kashi Vidvad Parishad holds the copyright, because they are the one who preserved all the palm leaves, protected even during the Muslim invasion, Christian invasion, or all the invasion time. They kept the knowledge alive. They preserved it so if at all, we raise the issue of copyright. Who has the copyright to Vedas, Upanishads, Agama, Tantra, Puruna. It is Kashi Vidvad Parishad, which has copyright to all the Veda, Purunas, Upanishads, Agama, and all available Sanskrit Vedic literatures. So understand, the oldest deity Kashi Vishwanath, the Temple head is here, and oldest temple Annapurni Mandir the Mahantji is here and the oldest educating organization Kashi Vidvad Parishad representative is here. All of them are here to receive us, welcome us in Varanasi.

Already Mahantji organized, and I received the former invitation from the head of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. We are all going to have one more Rudra Abhishekam and darshan in Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Annapurni Temple, Mahantji Sri Sri Rameshwarapuriji Maharaj and the head of Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Both of them will be physically present with us to help and facilitate the Rudra Abhishekam.

This city most fascinating, if you just go on and on and on. I can say only one word. This is the physical manifestation and representation of the whole Hinduism, Sanatana Hindu Dharma. Anything you call Hinduism belongs to this city. Understand, anything you call Hinduism belongs to this city.

Whether Moksha Dayani Ganga, or Kalabhairava, Mahadeva Vishwanath, or Annapurni, all the Gods known to the world as Hindu Gods are present here or available here or living here. And all the knowledge is available here.

Every street will have more temples than the houses. Please understand, every street in Varanasi will have more temples than the houses and I can be very sure, Varanasi has more Shivalingas than the population of Varanasi. Please understand, Varanasi has more Shivalingas than the population of Varanasi.

All of you should know Varanasi’s floating population as per the government is 300,000, 3 lakh, 3 times more than Tirupathi’s floating population. Tirumala’s floating population. Understand, the thousands, lakhs who come here everyday for the spiritual purpose.

From the time immemorial, please understand, Kashi yatra, I don’t have how many thousands of years it is happening. I think maybe the first person who did Kashi yatra is Ganga Ma herself, from Himalaya; she came to Kashi to have darshan of Vishwanatha. So the first Kashi yatra is Ganga Ma, Moksha Dayani Ganga. From the time of Ganga, the Kashi yatra continues. Most sacred pilgrim center in the world.

Please understand, if you see based on the number, Vishwanatha is the largest worshipped Deity, largest worshipped temple, largest visited temple, largest pilgrimage center. Not just oldest, largest too and with such busy schedule, the greatness of Mahadeva Bolenath is he is so accessible anybody can touch Him, anybody can touch Him.

See there are many temples, which has huge pilgrims, visiting, but naturally less than Vishwanatha temple, even those temples, you can’t go and touch the Deity. You can’t go near the Deity. Vishwanatha literally the symbol of Bolenath Mahadeva, such large visited and such easily accessible to everyone.

Still I am wondering how are they managing the crowd. I think only the head of Vishwanatha Temple can tell how are they, see temples like Madurai or Chidambaram, Tirupati, Thiruvannamalai, the number of people visiting the temple per day is one third of Vishwanatha’s temples pilgrims, but in Tirupati, in Madurai everywhere you have to stand in queue at least for 6, 7 hours. Even in Thiruvannamalai, now the queue goes up to 10 hours. But I have never, not only have I never stood, I have never heard anybody standing in queue more than 2 hours in Vishwanath temple. Within 2 hours, you’ll have darshan. Not only darshan, sparshan, you can touch him.

Understand in South Bharat no temple you can touch the Deity, other than our Dhyanapeetam Temple, which we allow maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Shivratri, my birthday, this 3, 4 times in our Dhyanapeetam Temples. Other than our Dhyanapeetam Temple, I don’t think you will be able to have darshan of any traditional temple, sparshan of any traditional temple in South Bharat. Here, you can actually touch Vishwanatha, not only have darshan, sparshan too. So busy but so accessible to all.

The definition seems to be very paradoxical, but this can be given only to Mahadeva. Only to Mahadeva this definition can be given. So busy attending everyone who comes but still available, still available for everyone.

Actually, its greatness of Kashi, they all physically came, personally came welcome all of us, invited all of us. The beauty of Kashi is welcoming mode. Kashi is always the welcoming mode, by million and million of pilgrims entering. Kashi got into a permanent welcome mode. Welcoming is not just a board in Varanasi, it is a mode for Varanasi. Understand, welcoming is not just a board for Varanasi, it is a mode for Varanasi and residents of Varanasi, constantly welcoming million and million streams of visitors, devotees, followers, pilgrims of all Sampradaya, Shaiva, Vaisnava, Shakta, Ganapathya, Guama, Saurura, all Gods in all versions and all editions and all forms live here. Make themselves available to the whole planet earth. And make all of us experience the Cosmic Oneness.

I again wanted to thank Mahantji Sri Sri Rameshwara Puriji Maharaj of Annapurni Peetha. Annapurna temple and Annapurni Trust and Dubeyji representing Kashi Vivad Parishad, and the head of The Vishwanath Temple for personally coming here inviting, welcoming all of us to experience Varanasi and supporting us for our beautiful happy stay and experience in Varanasi, especially the head of the Vishwanath Mandir. He said very clearly, whatever it takes to make the program successful, comfortable, your experience comfortable in Varanasi we are here to do it. Thank you for your kind words.

And, today all of you may be aware I am suppose to start Katho Upanishad Satsang. For next till The Inner Awakening program, morning satsang will be on Katho Upanishads, then I will assume Isavasya Upanishads back and continue the Sutras so today formally I begin the Nithya Satsang by introducing the word Katho Upanishads, and introducing the Shanti mantra for Katho Upanishads.

Auṁ sa ha nāv avatu, saha nau bhunaktu, saha vīryam karavāvahai; tejasvi nāv adhītam astu:mā vidviṣāvahai;auṁ śāntih, śāntih, śāntih.

With this verse, I formally begin the Katho Upanishad Sastsang. Translation, expansion, meaning intercepting with The Akashic Records of what this Upanishads mean, everything I will continue in further satsangs.

I bless you all. Let you all radiate with integrity, authenticity, responsibility, enriching, causing living Advaita, the eternal bliss, Nithyananda. Thank You. Be blissful!
