We are making a documentary on spirituality which is called "soul of Kumbh" I am very grateful to you! We are from center from management and spirituality. we are looking for a program to have spirituality as a part of the curriculum. not like a subject but as a way of living...we are making a documentary on this and we will be presenting this in a International conference happening on 22nd and 23rd Feb in Varanasi.

Question: What is the soul of kumbh? what makes people attend kumbh after putting so much hardship. why the s...the same people who come here the moment they cross they change...

Answer: i will look at the whole thing in a holistic way. first thing the seeking - seeking the higher possibility is the heart beat of human beings. I don't even want to say seekers. seeking the higher possibilities whether it is management or science or any field. if somebody is convinced through money i am going to get higher possibility - he becomes biz man, power on others - politicians, enriching myself and others spiritually - he takes up spirituality. seeing the higher possibility is heart beat of life. Bharat the whole life style the thought current seeks the higher possibilities. 10 crore people gathering here in these 55 days shows our seeking higher poss. that does not mean we have lost all our ordinary mundane qualities. we should not look at why they are still corrupt. we should look from the angle - wow even though they are corrupt they are still here. so you may say Bharat has corruption, so dirty.... between all that we have tremendous seeking for higher possibilities. so the whole soul of kumbh is about seeking of higher poss.

Q - why does it not sustain?

A - i feel number of people looking at more techniques to maintain this is increasing....every kumbh i am seeing people who are looking for concrete ...

q - there are positive signs for it?

sure

q - i feel these 4 - integrity, authenticity, responsibility for ourself and others and continuously enriching ourselves and others. integrity means living the word you give to you and to others. we always forget the word we give to ourself...what you think of you, what you commit to yourself as your future - standing by that is integrity. so the first step of sprituality is standing by yourself and others ...2nd step what you feel as you and what you project to yourself as you and to others as yo. what you feel as you is mamakara , what you show yourself to others is ahamkara. aligning these two. if you are feeling you are a very strong person outside then push the same outside also....stretching with others imagination of you especially people with whom you have committed your life is like with your boss, your brother...stretching yourself....there are three kaaras - mamakara - what you think as you, ahamkaara - how you project you as you to others, anyakaara - what others expect as you. aligning your ahamkaara and mamakaara and stretching what others feel about you is authenticity. responsibility - taking responsibility for yourself and others who are around you. enriching means continuously reminding you to live these tatvaas and enriching others to live these tatvaas. i can say these are the basic principles of management, of spirituality and basic principles of your life. Spirituality is nothing but managing different parts of you. your head is CEO, Heart is CFO and each organ is diff dept...integrating all of them and managin is spirituality. you have a investor - min, who wants to mess up everything. managing the whole thing your body and investor both is spirituality.

Q - WE ALWAYS THOUGHT THERE IS TWO ENDS.

If there are two ends we avoid finding solutions....the fear of losing ignorance makes us avoid finding solutions. spirituality is not something out of our life. spirituality should be directly helping you to resolve conflicts in every step. if you have basic pain it is a conflict between you and your back - spirituality should solve it. if you have head ache, it is a conflict between you and your spouse, spirituality becomes your life when you resolve your life problems with it....

Q - is it not difficult?

As long as you think it is difficult. it is difficult. if you see the triveni from distance you will fee wow! how can i get in amidst such a crowd. but if you get in, you will be managing or handling only one person in front of you...these 4 tatvaas also sometimes you may live it, sometime you may not. but even if you try to live it, you will progress....you have a spiritual solution, if you try to live that with ...whenever you handle a problem with a spiritual understanding, externally whether it is completely solved or not, you will grow to solve bigger problems. growth is nothing but your ability to solve bigger problems. for ex, a CEO the problems he handles is bigger than...the raising does not happen by the problems you solve but the ability to take up responsibility for the higher problems.

Q - Can you give example how many problems can be solved through spirituality?

Bringing integrity. when you bring integrity, the way you think, the way you give commitments to you.t he commitments are only called desires. you will make consciously...i am not saying desire is wrong. all i am saying is unconsciously having desire is wrong...so with ..you will not have ....esp in management circle, everybody wants to make millions of dollars and one side wants to lie down in a beach. one side you want to have millions and other side you want to lie down in beach. so these conflicting desires, contradicting desires will dis when you bring integrity. authenticity will make it clear what you feel as you, what you project as you and what others believe as you. if you align these three then naturally these will live through you...

A - either your boss or your employee you are responsible for their expectations about you. for ex, if you put your foot down for your work.....when you take up more and more work,whenever you are given work you say yes ...then you will have promotion also. so you are resp for others opinion of you. so when you align how much of resp i want to take for what i feel as me, what others feel as me....suffering is reduced drastically. when the suffering is reduced, worrying is reduced, your productivity goes up at least ten times more. you become more loyal to family and others...the grumbling, grudging makes you disloyal to organ, nation everything. ...

Q - this grudging comes when expectation are not met?

grudging comes when you are not knowing what you believe as you and what you project to others as you and what others expect you to be. when you are not clear about these three you are grudging. if it is not there, you ....

others expectation also you only place it. you are responsible for others expectation to be awakened.

your mantra seems to be you internalize all

this is exact life solution. i am giving you strategy for your promotion and success. i am not giving you spiritual or moral instructions. i am giving you strategy to become CEO. when you align yourself ....you will start stretching yourself to others expectation out of joy.

Q - these steps you have m emotions religion does not come anywhere.

a - i can say every word i uttered... the Katha Upanishad speaks about it. whatever i spoke to you every line is from Isha Vasya Upanishad - integrity is from sampoorthi, for authenticity - Sanskrit word is Shraddha - as i said the identity you are carrying inside sanskrit word is mamakara, identity you project outside is ahamkara,.... every word is spiritual principle for Upanishads i put in modern language. even example, i gave you managing different parts of your body is extracted from Katha Upanishad. it is rooted int eht radition. see my roots are int he tradition, wings are in teh modern age.

Q - What is future of kumb?

A - i see future of kumbh is convergence of various thought trends.

q - many marketing things and less spiritual things are happening here....no. i am seeing more and more thought currents are flowing here. the future kumbh is going to be international life style think tank. kumbh was created for that purpose only. everyone comes here for ....future kumbhs are going to be lifestyle think tank of planet earth.

q - majority of people come and are not aware of these concepts...

even the village folks carry some thought trend. they may carry some thought of hare rama, hare krishna and listen to.....aasharam babuji...and they go back....it is still life style. maybe i am speaking in English so it looks like lifestyle...even though they don't know the word think tank they are still doing it.

Q - What is your message for our students?

my message is bring integrity, authenticity, responsibility and enrichment in your life as much as you can your life itself will become Kumbh Mela!!! Thank you!
