The Satsang

But in thirteen days the whole thing will not be shifted. For thirteen days the hangover will be there. For thirteen days kid also will not have individual consciousness. Kid will not have total awareness of the body for thirteen days. For thirteen days the mental setup transferring will be happening. It’s like you want to shift to St Louis, first you go by car then all your luggage will be brought by the shipping people. They will bring by truck; just like that. You will go, all your mental setup, your ideas about how to live, all those things will be getting transferred. It will take thirteen days.

Q. Does shrada help?

Yes, the shrada actually helps the jiva to leave the body easily and go and enter into the other body. Shrada means not pouring water and doing all those rituals, but those mantras. See in shrada time they will chant Katoupanishad. Have you read Katoupanishad? If you read and understand, you will understand. Whatever I have said now, all these truths will be uttered to that jiva. ‘Oh jiva, at least this time you won’t miss the atmagnyana.’

Have any of you read Katoupanishads? The whole Katoupanishads is nothing but this atmagnyana. And shrada means nothing but Katoupanishad. Katoupanishad is the main thing that is supposed to be chanted in shrada. All the other things are not going to anybody, they’re going to priest only; don’t worry about it. Only the Katoupanishad; when you chant the Katoupanishad, that life, the being which left the body, that will be listening, that will hear the truths.

The Katoupanishad says about all these things. You are supposed to be relaxed and go into the way of dharma, go into the atmagnyana. Either become enlightened or at least in this next janma prepare yourself for becoming enlightened, to become enlightened. The same truths are uttered. So uttering those mantras will give right knowledge to that being, to the jiva. That is why those mantras are chanted.
