Everybody is real but when you meet your Master, you will feel that. When you meet with whom you are going to grow, with whom you will grow, naturally, something will happen inside your being. Then you can start following that system, or that technique, or that person. Till then, continue to search. Continue to seek. That’s what their...Bhag… in Bhagavad Gita, the first chapter is Arjuna Vishada Yoga. Vishada means depression. Depression of success.

As you said, only when people are not around us, we start searching. What for? We are here. We face the reality of aloneness. Reality… what I call aloneness. Then naturally we turn towards our being.

No, usually people seek in the later stage. I don’t say you should not give it to the kids. Surely you must give this thing, give, little bit of our wisdom and meditation to the kids because it is their birthright. It is their birthright. You being Bharatns, it is their birthright. They choose you, expecting that you will give our ancient wisdom to them. They choose you as parents, expecting that you will give our wisdom to them.

Of course, you need to have little patience and little intelligence. Above all, you yourself need to understand the whole thing completely. Only then you will be able to inspire and share with them. And you must at least give an introduction to our way of life and to our meditation techniques.

It’s a nice question. You want a social answer or honest answer? To tell you honestly, I read enough of books on this karma theory. Enough of philosophical books, and enough of literature: Sanskrit, English, in all possible languages. Whatever languages I know, in all the languages, I read enough of literatures, traditional and modern. It’s nothing to do with our life. It is just your faith on it creates all trouble.

I have meditated enough. I have read enough, and from my own experience, I...I… I’m working, I worked with millions of people. I’ve seen at least one million people, face-to-face, through my meditation programmes, mass meditation camps, through my...various other programmes. I tell you, from my experience, the idea about Karma is nothing but your faith on it. All negativity has got only one power over you, your faith on it, that’s all.

All negativity, whether it is seven and a half year Saniswara, or Ashtama or astrology, gemology, numerology, or any -ology. All these things have only got one power over you. That is: your faith on it, that’s all. There’s a beautiful sloka in Jyotisha. Only when you know you have the Sani dosa, the Sani will start working on you. There’s a sloka: only when you know, He looks on you, His eyes fell on you. Only when you look to him, he looks on you. Only when you look towards Him, He looks you.

So understand, there is a… I’m not able to translate, I’m... sorry, I’m… this sentence is grammatically not right. I’m not able to translate that sanskrit word, “only when you see Him, He sees you.” Means, only when you understand, or only when you believe, that you have that dosha, or you have that graha, you have that problem, it starts working on you. Till then, it never works on you. Then what do you mean by it? And all these people who say it is karma, all these that things. They will tell only after the incident happens, never before. Never before. So please be very clear, from my experience I tell you, better forget about all these things.

Just be confidence, and have enough intelligence to decide about your future, it is completely in your hands. It is completely in your hands. Even if it is in somebody else's hands, by knowing that what are you going to do? You can’t change. By knowing it you’re only going to be in more trouble and depression. That’s what they call “self-fulfilling prophecies”. Self-fulfilling predictions. Just by knowing it, you will create it. Just by knowing that there is going to be some trouble, you will create it or you will associate with it. That’s all. So better to relax from this concept of Karma.

This is the honest answer but if you ask the social answer, naturally I will tell, “Oh our elders have told, our ancestors have told, it is all…” And there are so many arguments that both sides arguments can be done. And I analyzed enough, this is what I personally experienced. This is what after the such a long research, working with so many thousands of people, this is the conclusion which happened to me. Because, in the modern day I am seeing continuously different kind of people, different kind of experiences, different kind of lifestyle.

We have 400 centres in 20 countries, continuously I move around. Only in last year 200,000 miles I have flied. I’m seeing continuously people. Through all these things, after all these experience I tell you, just before coming to America, just this one week ago, I had a programme in Tamil Nadu where one lakh people gathered. Complete one lakh people had individual touch. I’m talking continuously with so many people. I know many elders will be hurt, when I just pull down the whole karma structure. Many elders will be having now oh so many questions. “How can this be?” So many systems are there, so much of astrology. So many questions you will have. Because it is a very small group, I’m just opening up the honest truths which I discovered after my long experience. After my long research. Of course, if you have arguments, I welcome all your arguments. I’m ready to listen, but this is the conclusion after long research which has happened to me.
